My burger was outstanding, the meat was cooked perfect and the toppings were fresh and crisp. The fries were also delicious.

Been a long time since last visit, now 30 locations and growing. Love supporting a local Detroit chain that blows away the mega national Chicken chains. We shared the Famous Canadian Comfort food Poutine. Always a Winner you must try Delicious . DWC POUTINE Fries or Tater Tots, white cheddar cheese curds, homemade beef gravy, got my with Fries for the win. She had the new CRISPY TENDER SALAD Crispy Chicken Tenders, Fresh Romaine, Sweet Corn & Onions, Cheddar, Cornbread Croutons. Served with Mississippi Ranch. A winner she really Loved plenty to share. We shared a couple mega Chicken Tenders with Comeback Sauce, tender juicy Wowed. Had a Blueberry Lemonade was delicious not to sweet, they take on Detroit Lions Kool aid Lol . Still the number one Chicken Wings and Tenders place in Metro Detroit with low Prices. This location our favorite has a dine in area to enjoy. All those Halal Wing places can't compete since they prices 40 percent higher and just not as good . #detroitwingcompany @detroitwingco #chickensandwich #poutine #chickentendersalad #chickentenders #chickenwings #downriverfriendseat #supportlocal

I came with my nephew and sister and we were all surprised at the prices vs the portion sizes! Being from Atlanta I was expecting smaller portions but they go big here! I got the Fat Daddy Sandwich and was so excited to eat it and almost burnt my tongue. The chicken was freshly fried and dressed to order. I dug into the delicious cheese fries while I waited for my sandwich to cool. Pairing it all with the fried pickles just competed the whole meal. Small area to dine in, mainly waiting space, but it was a slow evening and we decided to hang out. If im in the area i would definitely visit again.

I used to visit Fat Daddy's all the time, but as I moved a bit further away, my visits have…read moredecreased in frequency. Still, it's always a pleasant treat to drop by and have some hot chicken once in a while. On my most recent visit, I got a couple of items: Chicken Cheese Fries, Mild ($13.70) - The fries are kind of chewy and not crisp but that could be because of the 15 min drive home before digging in. Fresh green onion and fried chicken tenders are dropped on top with the meat being not dry but not especially moist. In terms of spice level, we went with mild, which in this case is basically not spicy at all, giving just a very slight tingle on the tongue. Tangy, almost vinegary comeback sauce and a cheese sauce are drizzled on top of everything. Overall the seasoning level is good. I mean, it's fries with stuff on top; hard to mess that up. I just don't think I would get this again because the sandwiches are way better and this is just average. (3/5) Hush Puppies ($4.60) - One order comes with six pieces. These hush puppies have a nice crisp exterior skin with a tender and fluffy corn meal interior, seasoned perfectly. They come with the comeback sauce on the side, but I don't think they actually need the sauce as they are perfectly delicious by themselves. (4/5) The Fat Daddy, Hot, Pickles ($13.70) - Woah, this thing is hefty. I'd almost forgotten how big the sandwiches are. This single sandwich probably weighs equal to everything else we got. They give you a giant chicken thigh with a super moist interior and a crisp exterior. The chicken has a bit of heat at hot but is not overwhelming. Either my heat tolerance has gotten better or they've toned the heat down - I remember always getting the hot and having trouble with it in the past! They add a bit of slaw to add additional crunch. You can choose between pickles and peppers - I went with pickles to amp up the vinegar tangy notes. Everything is on a fluffy buttery bun. The sandwich comes with seasoned fries that are seasoned well and not overly salty. The texture feels a little chewy rather than being crisp and they look kind of pale, like they are under fried. A bit disappointing to be honest. (4/5) Since I first visited Fat Daddy's, they've expanded to a couple more locations around the Metro. I'm happy to see them getting their food out to a wider audience. I definitely recommend them, especially for their hot chicken sandwiches. Now if only they brought the hot bone-in chicken back - it's on the menu, but they don't actually carry it anymore. Overall rating of the food this visit: 3.67/5

Reservations required for 10 or more people. A table fits up to 8 people with two grills to share among 8 people. No worries since there was only 5 of us the day of, additionally they didn't end up reserving us a table. Everyone at the table must get the same thing, BBQ or BBQ and hotpot together. Gwen waited on us. There is a $10 upgrade for the dinner meats and protein (marked as red under the protein selections). What a bummer!. A lot of the meats and protein items my team wanted are only available at the dinner time menu, unless you pay the extra $10 per person, a premium for it. None of my team wanted to pay the dinner price for a few premium meats. The iPad is used for ordering your meats and vegetable and rice, easy to used. Cart order shows as $0. Place order and items takes about 5 minutes to come out on a cart. The soybean paste as well as the sesame oil with little pepper and salt is a good dipping sauce for your barbecue meat. The appetizers were not so yummy. It's only chicken nuggets, veggie spring rolls and fries. Some more of the Korean bunsik items would have been good. The banchans are so-so. The kimchi, cucumber, sliced radish, and radish chunks were just OK. The tofu skins were odd, I thought they were fish cake at first. They are not. Our grill had to be replaced a few times, additionally the vent hood wasn't working properly. We were inundated with smoke at times. Gratuity of 18% is added for parties of 5 or more. Spicy chicken was decent, sinewy and gristly though. Pork belly and bulgogi was ok. Calamari was so-so. The garlic shrimp was good. Prefer Korean BBQ restaurants, the buffet bar is good for the dipping sauce for the hotpot, but not a lot of good apps or fruit options for me.

Otherwise a great dinner except for that glaring error. Not grabbing dirty food plates either by Ritaj as she was not stopping by to do so. We even had to have the hostesses after we went to the hostess desk to go find her. Unacceptable.

Dangerous lack of allergy safety, zero empathy, and a complete liability!…read more Very sad because I came here with my husband a few weeks prior and the food was good, well, the breakfast was good that I ordered (apple french toast) ...his burger looked pretty Basic B. Actually, his words were it was "just okay". At the time, I thought it was his fault. Like, why would you order a burger at a breakfast joint? But whatever he doesn't like breakfast.. anywho I have 0 pictures from yesterday because I was so annoyed. It distracted me from pics but just imagine french toast with strawberries, blueberries, whipped cream , and (what we were told was strawberry sauce drizzled over it) I am writing this review because the level of negligence, poor communication, and awful customer service at this establishment is a massive safety hazard. My Sister and I were here yesterday around 1pm . We ordered some coffee drinks and chatted with the waitress a bit, she mentioned she had been there for over 20 years. So she worked there the under the previous names but same owners, Kikos and before that i cant recall the name . We decided to split the Very Berry French toast. My sister immediately asked, does it have raspberries on it? Because i'm allergic to raspberries. Waitress replies , no ," we don't even have raspberries here" I take a quick glance at the menu and notice that there is raspberry sauce on the Monte cristo. So I say , please make sure there's no raspberry sauce because I do see that on the menu and Just to reiterate , she is allergic to raspberries , so please make sure...and she said , no problem! Drinks come, were chattng , the french toast comes out, looks amazing. We each take one bite from each end. And we both look at each other bc we immediately notice raspberry taste. I immediately waved the waitress over to the table and told her we tasted raspberry, she said, "there's no raspberries in that, but if you want, I can have them remake it" she seemed annoyed. We were speechless , waitress then quickly left to have it remade u assume? Idk ! Even tho my Sis only took one bite and stopped eating, she still suffered an immediate allergic reaction including a swollen tongue and hives in her throat that lasted for days. My sister had to leave immediately to get medication from a pharmacy, while I stayed at the table to wrap things up. I Spoke to the manager and explained what happened, the response was completely unbelievable. Instead of apologizing, she defended the staff, saying, "She didn't do it on purpose, it's not her fault." It turns out the kitchen ran out of strawberry syrup and they substituted it with raspberry syrup. attention owners if you change an ingredient--especially a common allergen--you MUST inform your staff. Also, a server.. (especially one that's been around the block for like 20 years as she said) should know better- always write allergy alerts on the kitchen ticket. The manager offered to remake the food, but I told her, "No, please don't, she's probably not going to eat it, we don't trust you at this point." She brought out a remade plate anyway, so I started to box it up. At that point, my sister came back from the pharmacy and told me her throat was swelling and itchy really bad and we needed to leave immediately. I left the food. As we got up, I noticed they left a bill for our two lattes and only took off the French toast. We hadn't even had a chance to drink the lattes!!!!! We went up to the front counter to clarify since the manager said it would be taken care of. The cashier went back to talk to the manager, and I could see them arguing back-and-forth about it. At that point, I was so incredibly annoyed that I waved my money in the air and said, "You know what, never mind, I'll pay for the lattes." I told the cashier, "This is unbelievable. They literally poisoned my sister, but we are still paying for lattes we couldn'teven enjoy" I threw the cash down on the desk and walked out. They are incredibly lucky my sister only took one bite. Avoid this place at all costs if you have food allergies.

It's not a big deal but it's negligent so I'm irritated. Rant over! Edit: To be fair I do enjoy their food, and have ordered from here a few times. But I don't know maybe I'm in a bad mood today, but damn read the dang printout! 2nd edit: WeIp spoke too soon they also messed up my dips! No blue cheese? Come on, man! I initially felt bad leaving this review over ice. However, I'd be remiss if I didn't implore anyone the reads this to make the same request. Ice machines at restaurants, fast food or otherwise are, in my experience, filthy. So it's a legitimate request. That being said, the addition of no blue cheese dip is the straw that broke this guys will to order out from here again. We had a good run. I will miss your loaded cheesy fries and your wings aren't bad, so maybe it's just a reflection on the staff there, I don't know, I'm spicy tonight. 3rd edit: Ok cooler minds have prevailed, I have decided that I will redact my previous threat to never order from here again. Not because of the promise of free food. No one from or affiliated with the establishment in question has contacted me, but there will be a hiatus believe me! Upped to 3 stars cause the food is good, following directions not so much
