I ordered a carry out for dinner. I got the Memphis chicken sandwich. I was worried it would be too spicy so I asked for the Memphis sauce on the side and they were happy to oblige. Everything is served with fries, you have the option of reg or Cajun. My total was around 12-13$ for the combo (sandwich, fries, drink) Food was ready when they said it would be and they were courteous and quick to ring me up. They had a cool drink machine with flavored Pepsi products. When I got home it was time for reckoning. Would this be the amazing sandwich my friends told me about? I slowly opened the steaming styrofoam container and was greeted by a generous helping of fries and a beautifully toasted brioche bun filled with fresh coleslaw and the most delicious looking fried chicken. A must try! Everything was delicious and the interior impeccably clean. You walk in and head to the register where your order is placed and then you proceed to seat yourself. I did not have to wait too long for my food. Which is always a good thing. The Nashville chicken wrap was very good. It's got some heat to It but not overpowering. It's also very filling. I could have just had that and been full for hours. The pizza was also very good. The dough was nice and soft and I could tell the ingredients were of good quality. I ordered the lemon pepper chicken sandwich combo. The drink fountain was down which I was not notified until after I paid for my order. They did have can soda and water, but there were only two soda options,Sprite and Coke. I had a bit of a wait even though the restaurant was not terribly busy. Not a big deal because I didn't have plans. I was mostly disappointed because the fries had a dangerous amount of salt on them and the actual chicken filet was smaller than the bun. I've been patiently waiting to try this place out since they opened. They had vegan cheese on the menu and as soon as I saw that I ran in, but they actually still weren't offering it yet. A couple weeks of waiting later, I call in on Pi Day and surely enough, they had vegan cheese!!!! Naturally, I automatically swerved my car and headed to Military Street. My sister and I headed over that to create our own pizzas. The only thing I didn't really like way the way the pricing works on these BYO pizzas. A base is $7 cheese is an extra $2, and each topping (non meat) is $1? Which is different than your typical BYO pizza places that would offer one price for all. Still, we gave it a shot. We paid about 19$, two pizzas and drinks. Which really wasn't that bad. The pizza itself was pretty good. The crust had some type of flavoring to it that was really delicious. It was also pretty crispy. So this is your place if you like thin, crunchy but cheesy pizza. I love that they offer falafel and BYO salads, which will definitely be what I order next time I come around. Try this place out. It's has a very nice interior/atmosphere. I planned this trip a while ago since the Hot Nashville Chicken Sandwich here has been hyped up so much by people online everywhere, but always delayed a trip to District 12 many times. We came on a warm summer evening around 8pm. They restaurant has plenty parking around the corner at Goodwill. The place was hoping at this time, several large parties and families doing the dine in thing. They have a nice set up, clean neat dining room with upscale look and feel. As for the chicken Sandwich, it has a good bun to chicken ratio and was looking good from the start. It started out strong from the first bite! Spicy too! The coleslaw is a must and please get the Cajun fries. The drink of choice is a diet coke But their machine had little to no C02. We all liked the versions of hot Nashville chicken that we ordered. I got to try this place today and thought it was great! I tried the spicy sausage pizza and the garlic chicken pizza. Both were so good! We really loved the dough used to make the crust also. It was so tasty with the perfect crisp and softness. The service was great also. Everyone was really nice and very patient in helping me decide what to get. We weren't sure if we could park in front of the place, as there were confusing signs in front for "10 minute parking for curb side service" but there were cars parked with no one in them. But we found parking around the back off of Newman St. I needed some veggies and protein, so I had the side salad and Southern Hot Chicken sliders. The salad was the largest side salad I be seen in a while, but it had very nice green Romaine lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, onion in it and the ranch dressing was good My sliders were very tasty, having pickle and I believe slaw/ shredded lettuce on them. Nice size chicken breast meat, soft buns and enough sauce to be just a little sloppy. Lol My friend had Siriacha chicken sliders and I tried a piece of hers and couldn't taste any spice or heat factor. Generous side of lightly seasoned fries came out hot but cooled quickly from AC circulating. Decor is simple: pictures, license plates etc with Michigan or Detroit theme. Floor is bare concrete, which I have no problem with, but we sat near the drink machine and it was rather sticky. Gentleman who took our orders was very friendly as well as the one bringing our food to the table. The menu was smaller but I think just enough options to enjoy a nice meal. We decided to get a carry out, which usually is never that great once your food has sat in the box on the travel home. The chicken was still crispy and had a great flavor. This is an excellent pizza, with very good ingredients. I try to get one when I'm up here for work, always worth the wait! I'm sad to report the Grub Hub driver wasn't so good, had my pizza on its side and topping all over. It was 20+ minutes and so I called him to discover he was waiting downstairs, my number is on the receipt and you let it get cold. You first walk in and you notice the nice decor, the restaurant is very clean and calm and not too loud the staff is very friendly and helpful! We got the Italian pizza which was really good especially because we have never had an Italian style pizza because we can eat pork so we really got to enjoy that, it was very flavorful the sauce tasted natural and it artificial and the meats were well cooked with the yummy wood fired pizza dough! The Cajun fries were served fresh and hot and perfectly seasoned. I had the honey sriracha chicken sandwich and it was perfect....sweet from the honey, spicy from the sriracha, toasted bun....yummy. Service is great; last time we were there the owner (what we believe to be anyway) took our order and we noticed they had additional options. Unbelievably bad service from Jasmine. Ordered a soup and a salad. Attempted order number one, I got no soup with my salad. Made it all the way home before going back to pick up the soup and realize the ingredients in the salad were wrong. Jasmine remakes the salad but this time also remakes it wrong again. This time she gets an argument with me about the ingredients in the salad even though the ingredient list is right above her head. Really? My husband order the Nashville hot chicken sliders with a side of onion rings. They were generous with the sides and they were good. My chicken sandwich was okay. The chicken wasn't very spicy but there was spice. It was good but couldn't finish because it was pink on the inside. I just couldn't finish eating it seeing it was still raw so that was the biggest factor as to why my rating was so low. the sandwich did fall apart a lot but my husband didn't have that problem with the sliders. So update. New place. New menu. New everything. I dined in once. Tried the Nashville chicken. That was really good. You could taste the cayenne pepper. Everything with the experience at the place is great. Owner even came and talked to us about how the food was an all. Very welcoming atmosphere. However, when ordering curbside, I've had an occurring issue. Something is always forgotten. Usually I'm okay with it if it's something small. But my last order might just be it for me. I ordered the Cilantro Shrimp Salad and they forgot the cilantro dressing, completely ruined the $15 salad. I also had the Lemon Pepper Chicken Sandwich, as soon as I opened it and picked it up, the crispy batter started falling off.
