3 kebab platter, comes with 2 sides we picked hummus and a salad (not pictured)
    Amy W.

I will add to the Yelpers that this is indeed a true hidden gem, off the beaten path but absolutely worth finding and dining. They even have a little parking lot, which is always a bonus. I will start with my only minor gripe. Without asking for water, they gave us two Kirkland bottled waters. Since every table had them and we had not asked, I assumed they were complimentary. In fact, I had said I was fine with the water bottle I had brought in with me. On the bill they charged us $1 each. Again, it was only a minor gripe, which stayed minor because the food and service were outstanding. We started with the famous meat pies, but you can mix them up with cheese or spinach as well. They come four to an order, and the waitress suggested two meat and two cheese. Whoa, these were incredible and a definite must order. Next, my man and I split the triple kebob plate with chicken, beef, and kofta. I love kofta, but the chicken might have been my favorite, so tender and perfectly charred. The plate comes with two sides, and we chose salad and hummus. The kebobs also come with a few slices of tomato, pickles, some garlic sauce, and a thin flatbread. Everything was wonderful. I only wish I lived closer, but this is a spot we may return to as a destination all on its own.

The raving online reviews caught my attention and decided to try the restaurant. Convenient location with plenty of parking, the decor of the restaurant catches your attention as you walk in. They have tables, booths, family areas and patio seating. Service was a winner! Amazing staff who gave the perfect food recommendations and prompt service. Now for the food... Whoa! Whoa!! The lentil soup was a nice way to start the meal. Ordered the Famous Pies with meat - the pastry and meat just melts in your mouth with a burst of flavors. Do ask for the garlic sauce, if you enjoy the strong and bold flavors. Highly recommend the Meat Pies. Will definitely try the cheese and spinach pies the next time. For the main course we tried the Kafta Kabob and Beef Kabob with sides of rice, babaganoush and hummus. Both meats were grilled to perfection and the sides were fantastic. The pita bread & tahini were great accompaniments. Overall, the flavors and taste of the food along with great service makes this restaurant a 5 Star dining experience. The restaurant does not serve alcoholic beverages. Pricing : Moderate for the excellent food and service. Will I return? : A definite YES!

Famous meat pie AKA the most delicious thing I've eaten all year

Beirut Grill is a Mediterranean restaurant tucked away in a quaint area in Arlington. It defines the term "hidden gem", as I had the best meal of my Yelp year. Shout out to fellow Yelper Arun who found this restaurant on Yelp. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - There's plenty of outdoor and indoor seating, nice decoration, and beautiful natural red brick walls. It has a welcoming and cozy vibe, and as soon as I stepped in I felt very welcome. 1 Star. Service - The friendly staff was very helpful. The menu was foreign to me, so we asked for recommendations. Not only did they recommend great dishes, they truly wanted to make sure we enjoyed the food and service. 1 Star. Food - There's a menu item called "Famous Pies". Order this. Quite possibly the best thing I've eaten all year, my meat pie was made of pillowy soft baked dough with tender seasoned meat that melts in your mouth. You get four with your order, and I could have eaten this for my meal. Next up was our server's recommendations: the Beef Kabob and Kafta Kabob. The Beef Kabob was perfectly grilled, cubed, and had a traditional steak flavor. The Kafta Kabob was ground beef with seasoning that gave it a nice Mediterranean flavor. I wrapped each in thin pita bread and added the cool, nutty tahini. Prices are very good too - $30 for my entire meal. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. I'm already planning to return so I can try the cheese and spinach pies. Beirut Grill is such a great find it's no wonder the reviews are so good. 1 Star.

The meat pies are to die for! And the tzatziki is fresh and tangy. The decor is lovely and makes this a fun dining experience. The service was a bit hit or miss even though it wasn't busy but I'll give it another shot.

Gorgeous place, love the vibe. Service was exceptional and patient as we explored the extensive menu. Started with lentil soup which was really well done, great taste. Followed up with a mixed grill for two that had a variety of kabobs along with rice, humus and babaganouj. Perfect! Really authentic, and seasoned to perfection. My new favorite!

The Eggs&Potatoes breakfast platter was delicious. Labneh w/ Zeytoun hit the spot. Rice Pudding, because why not, was tasty. The fresh squeezed Orange+Carrot Juice was amazing.

Platter for two and it's so worth it! I think it's around 50 dollars, but it's a lot of food and you'll take home lots of leftovers.

Five stars!!! If I could give 10 I would. Everything was delicious, I loved the Halabi beef especially! The people were very kind and friendly. I loved the atmosphere, and their fresh pressed juice. We are for sure making this a regular spot.

I'm glad we went to this restaurant. This was a wonderful experience. The food was homemade and delicious (not one bad dish). The service was perfect and a great atmosphere! We will be back for sure.

And I got this for dessert

Amazing food and awesome vibe , I will definitely come back and and truly recommend it , I tried fatteh and egg potato and they bring the veggie platter with it so fresh and amazing and a mint tea with it also feels like home My host Celein is so kind , helpful, and so respectful and made my day with her kindness and she gave me this amazing dessert in the house I appreciate it so much and it is so delicious.

It's definitely a hidden gem! I've lived in Arlington my whole life and just tried this place for the first time. Ate here on a Tuesday night, and it wasn't crowded at all! The food and service was great! Big portions and everything was very flavorful. We got the firecracker shrimp as an appetizer, and I got the lamp kabob plate.

Amazing food, amazing service, amazing value. Mike and Celine were very kind and welcoming for my friend and I's first visit to Beirut Grill. We've had a few other Mediterranean restaurants in the area, but Beirut Grill tasted amazing and for what we paid, was worth every dollar. We got the combo for 2 (to share, obviously) and were pleasantly surprised by all the food and the variety that came to our table. It was only $49 and we had LOTS of food to take home, and we were very hungry as well. Not to mention that they gave us some delicious lentil soup on the house, since we mentioned it was our first visit. If i could have 2 small criticisms, they did not provide free table water, and the sound for the door opening was a bit loud and annoying. But the bottled water was only $1 and was fine. Aside from that, a perfect experience and we are looking forward to coming back again sometime soon.

Well I hope it is isolated and not because they are growing too fast. I'd give 3.5 stars for this visit if I could. There was more staff than I've ever seen before however things seemed a little chaotic. One waitress rushed by the counter and knocked straws all over the floor - she saw she did it and didn't stop or come back to pick them up - one of the guys picked them up when he went by. There was a table that was uncleared nearly our entire meal - and the plates still had some food on them which I thought was unusual (I'm used to seeing clean plates or to-go bags). Our waitress was chaotic - hyper, rushed, and distracted. Not giving normal Fattoush vibes. The hummus was delicious as usual. Beautiful, & velvety. Their hummus has become my standard for what it should be. The grape leaves were extremely tart - tasted like a mouth full of vinegar. I haven't ordered them in a while and am hoping this is not a recipe change. Finished one & couldn't eat any more. The garlic dip was tamed way down. Made me sad because I like the stronger garlic. Again, hoping this is a one-off. An owner at another local establishment had told me that many tame it down because of the American palate. I can understand needing to find that balance of staying authentic vs please customers but I'm going to need the secret password to get the real stuff! Lol. (But seriously - if you know it, please let me know!) After trying their burger awhile back, my Mom hasn't been able to order anything but that as her entree. It is great. Steak fries are same as straight up American steak fries and good. She said next time she'll get the sauce on the side because it was heavy handed this time and overpowered the delicious meat. Bun wasn't holding up as it usually does. The chicken shish tawook was good as always however I was missing the bite from garlic dip. I love their rice! They have great yellow rice too. My husband and I shared and had some to bring home for one lunch. I got a piece of Iraqi bread because I've never ordered it before- it was really good! Served warm and bigger than large dinner plate. On our way out, while we were checking out the beautiful patio and new area to come, we had a 5 STAR moment when we saw Chef Bashar. I asked him if he'd consider doing a borek appetizer sometime as we had a delicious cigar (bc it was rolled) borek at a place in Dallas. He was very open to the idea and said they will be having 2 different menus when the new concept opens and adding more vegetable options. He also noticed my husband looking at the Palastine Cola in the drink case and told him to take one home and try. I thought this was extremely nice and generous. I look forward to continuing to support this great local business and believe this night was just an off night. You can also follow them on instagram to watch them make dishes, see specials & restaurant updates.

Located in Arlington, the restaurant is divided in 2 sections and the place has quite a casual and local vibe We, a party of 5 were immediately seated and the server aptly took our order. As we were famished, we ordered..a lot: -Mazza Plate -Falafel -Fries -Gyro Special Plate -2 Chicken Shawarma(Bank Special) plate (comes with Rice, Hummus, Tzatziki sauce and Pita) -Falafel Plate - Gyro Sandwich Dessert: -Baklava -Burma Since we love spicy, we asked for our food to be spiced up. 5-10 mins later, the food began to arrive. First impression was the portion size was huge. At the onset we knew we ordered too much. The Mazza plate was amazing with assortment of Middle-Eastern appetizers i.e. hummus, babaganoush, tabouli salad, dolmas, with kalamata olives and pita. We absolutely loved the dimas and the hummus and pita bread was fresh. The Shawarma plates were pretty decent and the chicken and gyro meats were well cooked and seasoned, however the spicy sauce they use was a bit more on the tangy side than on spicy side. Which was a let down. Falafels we crunchy and were pretty decent. The fries however were huge let down. They were too oily and the taste of overused oil was pretty evident. The best part for us were the desserts. The Baklava was great but the Burma blew us away. The roasted Cashes and angel hair with honey was truly delicious. To Foodies: This is quite a famous place for middle easter food, main reason being it was covered by The food network. Do try their Shawarma Plate , especially Gyro plate, it is pretty awesome. Also the quantity is good. However, I would recommend to stay away from fries or be careful of deep fried items. Do try the desserts, you'll fall in love. Overall, it is a good place but I have had much better. May be the standards have gone down a bit over the years. To Management: You have a wonderful staff, good location and the food is pretty decent..However I'd recommened to keep a check on your oil used for deep fried stuff. The fries were a huge let down. One bite and i frlt that bad taste of oil at the back of my throat. Also please revamp your spicy sauce a bit. Too much vinegar. Overall Rating: 6.5/10 Signing off Rahul V.S. aka CanIndian Foodie
