Looks good, right? Sweet and sour pork. It's not sweet at all. Tastes like red water.

Food wasn't worth the price. Egg drop soup needed salt. Egg roll was small and I saw no chicken in it. Great place. Great service.

Wanted some Chinese food, but not like Panda Express fast food don't get me wrong I like panda. So we found this place in Buda. Let's start by saying the service could be way better. The girls weren't rude, but they didn't acknowledge us coming in or they weren't welcoming. We didn't get a Hi! welcome. Please sit wherever you want. The place was very clean The food was OK. Honestly, I really didn't like it. But that's just my personal opinion. I just don't feel like I would go back.

Unfortunately I think we will start looking elsewhere. The portion sizes have gotten very small for the elevated price. The eggrolls are almost always over cooked now; the vegetable rolls greasy and dark. I ordered Buddha's Feast and got two thin pieces of tofu. Just a few pieces of meat in the Beef and Broccoli. Everything is over sauced. It's just not what it was when we first started eating there a couple years ago.

Not bad at all. Had orange beef and lemon chicken. Both were very good but the orange beef was a meal I would definitely recommend Service was excellent. Second visit: Hot and sour soup was a very good flavor combination. I recommend it. Got a lunch special chicken and shrimp with asparagus with soup and an egg roll for $10. My entree was also very good. Not a bad deal at all. For the price a good place for lunch

Great food and wine. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. Large portions. They even have me extra rice in my leftover container.

I've been looking for a good Chinese restaurant local to my home. This restaurant has very good food. The people there are kind too.

There was one a few months ago that had a little oil spritz on top that was my must have for its entire time on the menu. The coffee is fab. I do miss the sweater weather latte from last year, but the house made syrups and the coffee itself are really great so I can't complain. It's easy going during the day, it's more festive at night, but we love it for both vibes. The markets they host are also really lovely, great food items and pastries, etc. Solid food truck rotation, although I am missing the lamb barbacoa mini tacos now that pueblo viejo is gone and mil amores has taken over as the taco staple.

UPDATED REVIEW It's…read morebeen a few years since my last review for the Progress Coffee location in Buda. Now that the foundation has settled, let's dive in: SERVICE: The baristas have gotten much better (or were let go and replaced) and are much more competent than the first few months. FOOD: While they still don't offer food except for light local pastries, the food truck vendors have changed and NOT in a good way. I always come for my coffee and breakfast taco, but the recent change has been a huge let down (cash/zelle/venmo ONLY, inconsistent hours). Progress needs to monitor their food trucks better and revisit those contracts PARKING: Now that Progress has subleased a portion of their building to an insurance agent, the alternate lot is reserved for insurance patrons only. Parking is already frustrating to begin with. Open the grass lot and expand parking!! COFFEE: Once again, the signature coffees are just not for me... they're too sweet or light. Luckily, they're Matcha Lattes have been subbing in.

We walked in looked at the menu on the counter and then placed our order and paid. We were given a number and then went to find seating. After sitting we waited for a while as they started making our pizzas. We ordered two orders of Mozzarella Facaccia Sticks to share. One order with cheese and one without cheese. They were both warm and soft. I preferred the sticks with cheese. One of my adult sons got a Classic Pepperoni Pizza and he enjoyed it. My other son got the Bacon Double Cheeseburger Pizza and he also enjoyed it. My husband ordered the BBQ Grilled Chicken Pizza. I tried it and it was tasty. The pieces of chicken were large and I liked the BBQ sauce flavor. It had a sweetness to it. I ordered a Ground Control Pizza which had pepperoni, sausage, red onion, green peppers, mushrooms, ham, black olives, and ground beef. I ordered my pizza without the ground beef. My pizza was tasty. It had different flavors and textures. The pepperoni, ham and sausage meats were good. The crust was doughy which I liked. It was a good pizza. Lastly we shared a Cinnamon Dessert. Which is a cinnamon bread with icing. It was delicious. The bread was warm and doughy and you could taste the cinnamon. The icing added that extra sweet element to it. It was so good. The perfect ending to our meal. Overall Aviator Pizza had a good selection of food. The counter service where you order was easy and fast for us. The delivery of the food to our table was pleasant and the pizza was good.

Their pizzas seem smaller and now cost more. They're still decent, but it's getting harder to justify going. Their side salads are now $8 which is insane considering the size. A mile down the road is Tony C's who offers good prices and great service. A mile down from that is VIA 313 and let's just say it's VIA 313. A mile in another direction is Crust. You see what I'm getting at? There's a ton of options and Aviator seriously needs to up its game.

Nothing but 49ers jerseys and flags and the game on everywhere! Lots of covered seating, great deck, love all the decor, and all of it in great condition. The outdoor area off the deck has some areas for kids to play, but it's best for older kids. Seesaws are metal and fun, but there is no fence to keep those kiddos corralled in which I know some people look for. Parking was limited, and there were kids playing games and football in the parking lot which made me a little nervous, and they were playing with footballs that I could see hitting a car. The food trucks that night were limited, but the Mediterranean food truck was good! Nice falafel, a solid chicken shawarma salad, and hand dipped onion rings and mozzarella sticks that the kiddos definitely enjoyed. It looks like they have a burger truck too, but it was not open that night. The game volume on high, nice patrons, solid layout for the space they have, nicely maintained, friendly staff that make you feel like you've come there for years, all adds up to another great experience on Manchaca Rd!

It was a little tricky to find at first since it shares the space with other bars. For a beer garden, the selection felt a bit limited, but the drinks we had were good. There were also a couple of food trucks on site, which made it super convenient to grab a bite without leaving. The staff were friendly and attentive, especially considering how busy it was. Overall, a solid spot to hang out, catch a game or fight, and enjoy some drinks.

On one hot Saturday afternoon I was looking to change things up a bit so google suggested Giddy Ups. I will confess driving up I was a bit apprehensive as it felt like a hole in the wall of a hole in the wall in the middle of nowhere. Upon arriving one will notice the parking lot is extremely worn with minimum upkeep while the facility wasn't that much fancier. Walking in you can feel the history and life. Everything is rustic and rudimentary as if the place was bought for pennies on the dollar. The outside has old fashioned 2x4 overhang with old plain wood columns, a huge red and obnoxious store front (but in a good way) and a tacked-on sheet metal shed. Inside, a half mannequin here, a thousand local artists in picture frames there all with dive bar tables and chairs make up the main area. Oh, there's a stage too if one can call what amounts to a step as a stage. The staff here are humble and nice. As for alcoholic beverages, if they got it, they're gonna make it for you. However, be warned the selection is limited, keeping in step with the bare bones mentality. Speaking of drinks, they're extremely affordable. I enjoyed my bourbon and diet coke just the same here as anywhere else while paying a fraction of what other places charge. In the side attachment or "shed" they have a number of games. One gripe I have is that they have the most disgusting bathrooms I've seen in years. No more elaboration needed. So what are my final thoughts? Giddy Ups is grass roots, simple but not for everyone. I like it and like the vibe but in my vast list of places to visit I just can't justify coming back especially if I'm looking to impress a date. It's not a bad place at all, just not my flavor.

There is a very small building with indoor seating, but it only has a restroom and a handful of small tables. I do want to give the benefit of a doubt as I was part of a fairly large group meet up, so some of the delays in service and getting food was probably due to the large number of people for a very small kitchen. I also 100% have to blame the meet up organizers for not letting us know it was outdoors! The place is BYOB although they do have a selection of bottles nonalcoholic drinks. Even though it was outdoor seating at picnic tables, there was one girl taking orders, and another guy delivering food, we did have to wait a bit for our food, but the point of the meet up was chatting and socializing so it wasn't a huge deal. The food arrived hot and was pretty good. My main complaint is that the portion seemed a little small for the price point, I got the Tom Kha soup and $13 for a pint of soup and a scoop of rice seemed high. The flavor of the broth was good but there were definitely more onions than chicken! That being said I liked that the spice level didn't seem to be lowered- I got a 3/5 and it definitely made my nose run a bit XD All in all I think to really get an accurate read I'd have to try again under more normal circumstances.
