Tried ordering online for pickup as I was feeling sick, ordered the pho with us special and chicken pho. When we got home realized the beef was raw, not uncommon, but not something I would've opted in for while sick. The broth was not hot enough to cook the raw meat (only a few minutes away from store) and the chicken pho was not chicken broth, just beef broth with chicken as protein. When asked over the phone how could we have changed the broth or known the chicken comes with beef pho, she said it's shown only on the menu in store. Pretty disappointing as my partner doesn't eat beef so we had to two beef broths and had to make our own chicken broth at home. Overall, they could provide more options when ordering pickup via the website in regard to the cook of the beef, and the broth selection on the non beef phos. We thought about ordering via Uber Eats but all the entrees were $8+ more than ordering directly which is egregious. read more

The rice noodles are hard as hell- it literally feels like they went stale. Chicken is also really rubbery, The noodles are not chewy at all and I'm having to literally swallow some of them whole. They also packaged my to go order with the sauces at the bottom of the baggie filled with bean sprouts and jalapeños so my hands were soaking wet trying to get them out of the bag. Also...what the hell are there gigantic raw broccoli pieces doing in my pho? Not authentic at all. Oh and OF COURSE their phone doesn't work so you can't call them. Excellent pho, especially the tendons which I love. The broth was okay but not great. This isnt 1618. Waitress was nice and attentive, however the manager greeted us with a weird and borderline rude "it's going to be a second" when the place had barely open. However the food redeemed that strange welcome, maybe a cultural thing. Ambiance is clean but the next door Midas background is the not most appealing, however this isn't very important if all you need is a comforting soup. Tried this spot out on the way from the Austin airport and really were happy with how it turned out. For an early week night dinner, it wasn't crowded at all. Maybe we were there with the early white haired crowd because it did fill up a bit more as we took our white hair out of the place. The interior was a bit sterile with the "industrial restaurant" vibe going on, but they did try to lighten up the wholesale marketplace purchases with some flair. Maybe it will personalize a bit more with some extended use. The staff were off the rails good, engaged, friendly, etc. We were appreciative of that. We started off with the pork dumplings which were great. However, I think shrink-flation hit us hard as there were only 5. Five? I thought it was common to serve six and the online menu said eight. I guess we were given the un-fung shui count of 5. Hard to split that up in a party. Then I went with the Classic Vermicelli that then added $'s for protein. But the next menu item was Vegetarian. I was just getting the vibe that every game was being played on me in this post-pandemic world to part me with my money in subtle ways. The bun was good and tasty, but it wasn't anything over the top. Definitely in the neighborhood fare genre with an industrial vibe and a Ferengi eye for the dollar. I came here with my baby girl (good friend); every time I am in Kyle, she finds the best restaurants. This is one of them. The name is actually pretty funny, think of it, it says Fuc with them! Heck yeah! I'd fuc with them any day because the food is delicious. I ordered the bao with tofu and the vegan vermicelli. I ate everything up in a bite. Full of flavor and yummy in my tummy. The tofu in the bao and vermicelli was crispy and marinated with seasonings, not bland like a lot of Asian restaurants. The bao buns was pillowy soft, so soft I could sleep on them. A great appetizer and could be a meal within itself if I ordered enough. Fresh veggies for the vermicelli; thank goodness it wasn't spoiled. I enjoyed my meal immensely. The restaurant is immaculate clean. It is a small place and the tables are close to each other, that can be too close, but it isn't overly close like Chef Kenny's during covid times. I was in town for work and I was craving some vermicelli. I went with a coworker. Place had good reviews and decided to hit it up. Walked in the place was packed and looked nice and clean. I ordered the 3 musketeers and the pork bellg spring rolls cause my go to pork and shrimp wasnt in the menu neither was the beef springroll. They had something similar but was an add on. Took a few minutes to come out. When I got it I was ehhh I was completely under whelmed. The vermicelli barely had any meat the noodles were a decent amount. Usually I get the vermicelli cause the veggies are alot and fill me up but this wasnt the case. I wasnt impressed with spring rolls either the pork belly was mid at best. Everything about my meal was lacking. The only thing that helped the spring roll was the peanut sauce. I've eaten vermicelli alot and this was probably the second time I've ever been unsatisfied with the vermicelli. I understand chicken pho is going to be dry and relatively flavorless unless pho ga is a restaurants specialty but this one was obvious that they either boil the hell out of it or cook it ahead, refrigerate it, then dunk it in hot broth and call it a day. The pork belly pho was unimpressive as well, the egg was hard boiled not soft boiled and the meat could use charring. We also got thai basil chicken wings and clearly they use the same batter for everything as I had a piece of shrimp fried into the batter. This grossed my fiance out and he didn't eat anymore after my shrimp discovery. I still ate them and they were okay and i liked the flavor but under the fried batter the chicken skin was gooey. The only thing saving this review was the service as our waitress was very kind and attentive and the thai tea which was a decent size and not too sweet like most other places. I've never had a bad meal from Pho with us! I normally get the short rib plate, but I wanted to try something different today and I was not disappointed! I got the absolute plate and i was so surprised when I opened my plate! I was not expecting it to come with Vietnamese spring rolls and grilled onions. So we definitely felt like we were cheating on our normal Vietnamese place, but we were so hungry and this place popped up as new and try worthy! We loveedddd our appetizer! The lemon pepper calamari was amazing! The lemon is in the dipping cup provided. Was such a new and delightful dish! I ordered the spicy beef and lemon grass pho. I didn't find it spicy enough and don't like siracha but paid 75¢ for a small size of chili oil - which was crunchy and delightful! Was just shocking how we had to pay for chili oil it's usually provided on the tables. Our waitress was super nice, friendly and REALLLY busy. I've been to the other location in southpark Meadows and always been impressed. First time dining in here in Kyle and I'm thoroughly impressed. Beautiful decor and wonderful ambiance. The staff is very hopeful and attentive, maybe little overly attentive as I felt a tad rushed out, but I think they were just trying to make sure we were taken care of. All of the food here is spectacular. I've never had a bad meal and I'm grateful to have tried a few new appetizers. I did not get a shot of the brussel sprouts but they are absolutely delicious and worth a try. I like this new location in Kyle. I noticed some extra goodies to choose from on the menu. This place just opened and Im sure they will make good business. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and seated pretty quickly. The restaurant has a good amount of seating and the place looks to be kept clean and they stay on top of it. It seems like this lady was doing it all from being the host to searing you to taking the order, bringing the orders and consistently making sure we didn't need anything else. We got our orders pretty quickly and you can taste the freshness of each plate. We ordered: Dr pepper (thought it was fountain drink but it's just a can of it for $2.50) better off ordering one of their drinks. We thought it was a fountain drink. Fruit tea - delicious! (lychee & passion fruit) Appetizers-yummm! -Vietnamese fried egg-rolls -Spicy garlic edamame -Pork Belly Baos Main meals- (Every bite was yummy in our tummies.) Someone approved that because it was sent to me. Poor way to send food out knowing that we won't be able to check the food until it's delivered to our homes. Friday afternoon we decided to catch an early evening meal after shopping big box stores in Kyle all afternoon. We had heard from friends that "PhowithUs" was an outstanding Vietnamise restaurant so we decided to give it a try. It was 3:50 Pm on Friday the restaurant was quiet, well stafed, beautifully designed. We got a table away from the door in case it got busy. Our waitress Faith was warm and friendly and patient as she explained some of the offerings. We decided that as it was our first visit we would try several small dishes o the Appitizer. That way we get a better feel for the the food. So we decided upon crispy Salt & Pepper Calamari, Pork Dumplings, and Bao grilled pork. as an afterthought we added Crispy Salt and Pepper Shrimp. The Bao Grilled Pork was nice but lacked something of thicker sauce. maybe a hoisin instead of sweet chili. All in all, this Bao should say By. The dried pork dumplings were underwhelming to say the least. Royal Panda might be as good. Then came the Calamari, an array of salty, peppery squid circles with a crispy coating that was outstanding. The problem was that the squid circles were tough as tires and tasted old, fishy sour. So I ordered Crispy Salt & Pepper Shrimp thinking that the coating on sweet fresh shrimp would be a knockout. It turned out to be a knockoff of the Calamari.They were old fishy sour tough shrimp coated with their crispy batter. Not an afternoon delight by any stretch of the imagination. read more
