I really enjoy the food here. My wife and I always have had great service and it is a nice place for a lowkey date night without going up to Austin. read more

We were starving when we arrived!!! Service was amazing. The crispy rice tuna roll was my favorite. It had a great crunch, slight kick of heat and the fresh seaweed salad on top was a really nice touch. The crying tiger was tender, but I was hoping for more spice. The papaya salad was ordered at medium heat. It leaned more towards the sweeter side. I could taste the tangy and savory flavors, but was hoping for more kick. Definitely hoping to try something else that they are popular for, but I'm used to Thai spots up north that deliver on the spice and flavor. read more

This place is OK but way too expensive for what you get. They wait on you promptly but what is disgusting is when you ask for an extra serving of silverware you'll stand there and count the number of people at the table and the number of serving Ware that is already on the table. If you have more than they think you need, they'll walk away. For what they charge it should be no problem to give you an extra step when you have a two-year-old like to drop stuff. Like I said, the Thai food is OK nothing to ride home about or go out of the way for There are too many other places that offer more food for less costs. read more

100 STARS! I got this for my husband last night & everything was so good! Excellent & friendly staff! He got wonton soup = excellent, steamed dumplings =excellent, pad sielew = excellent I'm a vegetarian & asked about the items, I was told most things can be made vegetarian or even vegan as well. I'll have to try it next time we order which I'm sure will be soon. read more

Heard great things about this joint. They don't offer only Thai, but also sushi and traditional Americanized "Chinese" options. The green curry was on point. Just enough sweetness and heat to balance it out. Had it with chicken, but I bet the tofu would have been just as good. The staff was expeditious and knew the menu well. read more

Update: that night I was tossing and turning and woke up the next morning in pain in my stomach. I have IBS symptoms from time to time and I think the spice was so much it aggravated my gut!! I was literally on the floor in pain and the rest of the morning had a burning in my gut. Again, someone who doesn't have IBS and loves heat could tolerate the curry probably but for anyone who has IBS or gut trouble I would definitely ask them if the curry spice level is adjustable. If not, you may want to forgo the curry:/ read more

I had a craving for some Thai food and I found this place "Spoon+Fork Thai Kitchen". When you walk in you notice a good amount of seating and a wonderful staff that makes this place unique. This restaurant has a good selection of Thai food and sushi to choose from. I went with Pad Thai dish and was impressed with the flavor and the size portions are very good. I also had the "Crab Cream Cheese Roll" they come in four very delicious appetizers. Overall this is a great place great staff and delicious food. I highly recommend this restaurant. read more

We stopped here after shopping at the outlets on our way home from San Antonio, so we were tired and hungry! I found this place on Yelp and we both agreed that thai food sounded great. Cute spot in a brand new shopping plaza. We were seated right away and the restaurant was busy on a Sunday night! I started with the fresh rolls appetizer and my fiance got a thai tea. While eating the fresh rolls, I noticed there was a long black hair in them. We alerted our waitress right away and she apologized and brought a fresh order. No big deal. Then our entrees come - I got a stir fry vegetable dish and my fiance got pepper chicken with rice. Literally half way through eating it, there is another hair in his chicken. We were disgusted at this point. We got our waitress again and she took away the order and brought out a new one. She also gave us a small discount on the receipt. The food was really good and our waitress was really sweet but 2 long hairs in the same meal-- I won't be back to this location unfortunately. read more

Food: I absolutely loved the yellowtail sushi!! So fresh and tasty. They also gave us a very generous portion of pad Thai and it was super tasty. Service: Very attentive and constantly refilled our waters. Ambiance: It was like a Saturday dinner evening hour and it wasn't even packed but there was obviously good amount of people. I assumed with the quality they have there would be more people but I think people in Kyle have yet to try this place. I recommend it for your next dinner outing read more

recently visited kyle, texas & this place is such a hidden gem. it deserves more love. first of all, the food just tasted perfection and so authentic. NOTE: SUSHI ISN'T AVAILABLE ON MONDAYS UNFORTUNATELY :( * kyle roll (sushi)!!! 5/5 - the flavors combined were too immaculate *RECOMMEND!!!!* * mango sticky rice - one of my favorites and not too sweet, the perfect amount. the mango, sticky rice, and coconut cream was the BEST. 5/5!!! *RECOMMEND* * the house salad 5/5 - with the peanut sauce was savory but also zesty in it's unique way! *RECOMMEND* * green curry 5/5 - so delicious, all the slices make it so unique and different from your usual curry, all the vegetables in this dish makes it truly spectacular. *RECOMMEND* *thai tea 5/5 - BOMB PERFECT NOT TOO SWEET AYYYE * tigers cry 4.5/5 - when i ate it, it got cold, but if it was warmer it would of been PERFECT! *recommend! hopefully it's warmer for you :) * austin roll 4.5/5 - was smaller than the kyle roll, but pretty good still. not as good as the kyle roll, they weren't as generous with the fish eggs on top! * pad see mow 4/5 - yummy but i felt as if it lacked flavor a bit but lots of vegetables in it as well though service: very quick and ready to serve! ambiance: love the decor and decorative style of the place parking: free parking in plaza read more

Not anything close to real Thai food. I should have known when I walked in to pick up our order and saw a small case of premade sushi that we were in for a subpar meal. We ordered two Thai dishes (Pad Kee Mow & Tom Kha Noodle) and an order of Fried Crispy Rolls (basically egg rolls). We called in the order and brought it home. We paid $40 for the order, which seemed high, but we figured that was just the price of eating out these days. When we opened the containers, both dishes consisted of very small portions--almost like a kids' meal. After being disappointed with what $40 got us, we dug in to see if we at least had some quality food. Nope. The food was hardly flavorful, under-seasoned, and the meat was tough. There was no spice at all, even though the dishes we ordered should have had some heat. It tasted nothing like what Thai food should taste like. The meals consisted mostly of noodles, with very little meat and even fewer vegetables. Anyway, you've been warned. If you want expensive, flavorless, small portions of Americanized Thai food, then this is your place. I honestly question whether even one person working there was actually Thai. read more

I really enjoyed this restaurant. Professional with the polite staff. Service was excellent! Food was GREAT! I had the Mongolian beef (I believe, pls see photo) with an addition of basil in it. And my partner had the pad Thai! Both equally delicious! I would not change a thing on these plates! The atmosphere feels nice with the art hanging and sitting around us. Its original in my opinion. PLEASE TRY THIS PLACE ITS SO GOOD! read more

I've been twice and I have mixed reviews. The first time I went I had the fresh roll and yellow curry dish. It was fresh and delicious. The second time I went I ordered the same thing, but neither dish was great. The curry was more on the grainy side. The fresh roll could use protein like shrimp in it. Or even peanuts to go with the sauce. read more

I personally, love this place. Every time I want panang curry I make the drive to come here. Hands down the best panang curry I've ever had. I love this dish so much!!! The curried fried rice is okay. It's a little on the stale side the few times I've had it here. But the curry with tofu? French kiss. I take my friends here too because I feel they should try the greatness of this place. read more

Excellent service. Food is excellent. Basil Fried Rice is my personal favorite but have had nothing bad, there.

We ate here on Sunday evening and absolutely loved it! We were seated immediately without a reservation, which was nice. And Pom did a great job taking care of us as our server. As for the food, the shrimp appetizers were delicious! I really enjoyed my salmon in the grilled salmon salad, and my dad liked the grilled salmon terriyaki as well. My fiancé enjoyed her curry entree, and my mom liked her food too, saying it was five stars for the mixed vegetable stir fry and papaya salad. We all very much enjoyed it and will be back for sure! read more

I am SO, SO, so happy to finally find a good Asian food restaurant in the area. I've long looked around Austin only to be disappointed. Heck, this is my favorite Asian food in Texas. That's a broad category and a broad area, but yeah - I think it's that good. I love good Thai food and this nails it. Heck, it serves as a shining star for a much broader food category as far as I'm concerned. The place is in a new part of Kyle and the explosive growth going on. So, it's uber clean and new. The staff were all excellent and nice to interact with. The name of the game is the food and this is where it was just so good. I started off with the fresh spring rolls. Perfect fresh herbs and vegetables with a superb chunky peanut sauce. I can't wait to try some of the rolls. Next up, I passed on the ever present Pad Thai and went with Yellow Curry with Shrimp. That was a genius move! Though it was just random luck. The curry was a sublime coconut flavor with a hint of heat. Great veggies and a ton of crispy shrimp. Perfectly done with a great dollop of rice to go with it. I was full, happy, and eager to come back. read more

Spring rolls were great, soup was great, and curry was delicious. Worth the trip. I am still writing because there is a minimum of characters. This place is worth visiting, I promise. I like it better than their Dripping Springs location, if they are related. read more

Kudos for great location, surroundings and friendly service. It is difficult to reconcile some of the comments, however, as the food was anything but consistently good. An exception was the panang curry, which was delicious. The grilled steak salad was a profound disappointment. The "grilled" steak had to have been from a bag of frozen pre-cooked strips; it was greasy and flavorless. The greens seemed dumped from a bag also. If there was a dressing, it wasn't discoverable. Disappointing was the fact that the server asked no questions upon observing the untouched salad upon presenting the check ($80 for three guests). The fresh spring rolls were, indeed, fresh, but I wish they had offered the Vietnamese variety with a protein included. The sauce for the spring rolls reminded me of thousand island dressing (egad)! Where was the peanut sauce? Such a travesty. The vegetable stir-fry was okay, but not memorable. The tom kai gai was delicious, but the chicken breast pieces were tough and tasteless, as in most oriental restaurants that don't bother with any velveting. One happy note: The served complied without prompting my request for sambal (most often comes a blank look). Is this worth another visit to try more things? Indeed. However, this review must be based on our selections. Sawasdee kha! read more

We did DoorDash from the Kyle Spoon and Fork recently while I was in the hospital there. Their spring rolls are huge and fresh. Lots of veggies and a credible peanut sauce. We added the crispy rolls, which are close to a regular fried egg roll. They are small but piquant, with a decent red sauce. We added their steamed dumplings - chicken rather than pork. They include a decently spicey oil to pour into it once you bite off and end. All very healthy and appropriate (fresh for the spring roll, crisp for the egg rolls, chewy for the dumplings. And they warm ones were still warm when DoorDash de Liveried them. read more

Great food and prices. I've lived here for 12 years. This is my favorite restaurant in Kyle.

The Mongolian beef was very watery, the inside of the spring rolls were mushy, and the pad see ew was super fishy tasting (shrimp). Not trying to nuke the reviews ratio but truly a 1 star experience. Hoping it was just an off night. read more

I've always wondered why there aren't many Thai "fast food" style restaurants franchised like Panda Express or Timmy Chan. I was delighted when my friend introduced me to this restaurant. I didn't tell her that Thai was my favorite cuisine. This establishment did not disappoint. From the lovely and attentive service to the pleasant atmosphere of a clean eatery. I just knew the food was going to be on point. I was going to order my usual green curry, but my friend challenged me to sample something different. I wasn't going to say no, so I ended up choosing the Rama Long Song ($13.00) for my entree. Since I love fresh spring rolls so much, I ordered some to share. The spring rolls ($5.00) was tasty, but the peanut sauce was on point delicious. It was thick and not runny. It was a bit sweet and nutty but did not taste much like peanut butter. To keep it southern and Texan, of course, they had some sweet tea ($3.00) on the menu. The tea was sweet and concentrated. It wasn't overly sweet to where it tasted like Kool-aid, but just right. The main dish was out of this world delicious! I just wasn't expecting it to bring the kick of flavor like it did. It was prepared with savory peanut ingredients. The side vegetables were steamed with a bit of spices and the rice was cooked to perfection. It wasn't old rice and did not have any black slimy pieces in it (like at Kha Thai on Scarsdale Blvd). My friend tempted me to move to the area just so I could have access to this restaurant as much as I wanted to, but haha that's still in the decision-making phase. However, I definitely will be back if I am ever in the area again. read more
