I had a craving for some Thai food and I found this place "Spoon+Fork Thai Kitchen". When you walk in you notice a good amount of seating and a wonderful staff that makes this place unique. This restaurant has a good selection of Thai food and sushi to choose from. I went with Pad Thai dish and was impressed with the flavor and the size portions are very good. I also had the "Crab Cream Cheese Roll" they come in four very delicious appetizers. Overall this is a great place great staff and delicious food. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Update: that night I was tossing and turning and woke up the next morning in pain in my stomach. I have IBS symptoms from time to time and I think the spice was so much it aggravated my gut!! I was literally on the floor in pain and the rest of the morning had a burning in my gut. Again, someone who doesn't have IBS and loves heat could tolerate the curry probably but for anyone who has IBS or gut trouble I would definitely ask them if the curry spice level is adjustable. If not, you may want to forgo the curry:/

Another spot we just took a chance to try in Texas and have to say the food was delicious. The waitress was very polite. The location was nice and inviting. We had a great time . The saki a must. Overall everything was amazing

I love this place and have been coming since they opened. The service is great and the food is fabulous! I tend to stick with the red curry with beef but occasionally stray to the other curries.

Food: I absolutely loved the yellowtail sushi!! So fresh and tasty. They also gave us a very generous portion of pad Thai and it was super tasty. Service: Very attentive and constantly refilled our waters. Ambiance: It was like a Saturday dinner evening hour and it wasn't even packed but there was obviously good amount of people. I assumed with the quality they have there would be more people but I think people in Kyle have yet to try this place. I recommend it for your next dinner outing

recently visited kyle, texas & this place is such a hidden gem. it deserves more love. first of all, the food just tasted perfection and so authentic. NOTE: SUSHI ISN'T AVAILABLE ON MONDAYS UNFORTUNATELY :( * kyle roll (sushi)!!! 5/5 - the flavors combined were too immaculate *RECOMMEND!!!!* * mango sticky rice - one of my favorites and not too sweet, the perfect amount. the mango, sticky rice, and coconut cream was the BEST. 5/5!!! *RECOMMEND* * the house salad 5/5 - with the peanut sauce was savory but also zesty in it's unique way! *RECOMMEND* * green curry 5/5 - so delicious, all the slices make it so unique and different from your usual curry, all the vegetables in this dish makes it truly spectacular. *RECOMMEND* *thai tea 5/5 - BOMB PERFECT NOT TOO SWEET AYYYE * tigers cry 4.5/5 - when i ate it, it got cold, but if it was warmer it would of been PERFECT! *recommend! hopefully it's warmer for you :) * austin roll 4.5/5 - was smaller than the kyle roll, but pretty good still. not as good as the kyle roll, they weren't as generous with the fish eggs on top! * pad see mow 4/5 - yummy but i felt as if it lacked flavor a bit but lots of vegetables in it as well though service: very quick and ready to serve! ambiance: love the decor and decorative style of the place parking: free parking in plaza

Cute little place we came to while in the area. Small seating areas but the food was delicious!

Been here a few times and it's always a great time!! Food is always freshly made and tasty.

Decent Thai spot with a clean, welcoming space and friendly staff. Service was genuinely great. I wasn't happy with one of the dishes, and they replaced it right away without hesitation, which I really appreciated. The basil fried rice was solid and flavorful, but the Panang curry didn't quite hit the spot for me personally. Overall, a good experience and I'd still come back to try a few more dishes.

We ate here on Sunday evening and absolutely loved it! We were seated immediately without a reservation, which was nice. And Pom did a great job taking care of us as our server. As for the food, the shrimp appetizers were delicious! I really enjoyed my salmon in the grilled salmon salad, and my dad liked the grilled salmon terriyaki as well. My fiancé enjoyed her curry entree, and my mom liked her food too, saying it was five stars for the mixed vegetable stir fry and papaya salad. We all very much enjoyed it and will be back for sure!

I am SO, SO, so happy to finally find a good Asian food restaurant in the area. I've long looked around Austin only to be disappointed. Heck, this is my favorite Asian food in Texas. That's a broad category and a broad area, but yeah - I think it's that good. I love good Thai food and this nails it. Heck, it serves as a shining star for a much broader food category as far as I'm concerned. The place is in a new part of Kyle and the explosive growth going on. So, it's uber clean and new. The staff were all excellent and nice to interact with. The name of the game is the food and this is where it was just so good. I started off with the fresh spring rolls. Perfect fresh herbs and vegetables with a superb chunky peanut sauce. I can't wait to try some of the rolls. Next up, I passed on the ever present Pad Thai and went with Yellow Curry with Shrimp. That was a genius move! Though it was just random luck. The curry was a sublime coconut flavor with a hint of heat. Great veggies and a ton of crispy shrimp. Perfectly done with a great dollop of rice to go with it. I was full, happy, and eager to come back.

We started we boba and it was decent for the price it was. We then ordered the shaken beef and it was nothing like owner photos which is misleading customers. The shaken beef had tiny nubs of poor quality beef, over 70% was veggies and it was sauced as if it was broccoli beef. It tasted okay at best but please don't market this as shaken beef. My wife ordered lemon grass beef vermicelli noodles they hosed the lemongrass after cooking it was unpleasant to eat as well. Maybe we messed up and should have got Pho? But why have subpar dishes in your restaurant... Oh last thing they have robots that bring out food from the kitchen but the waitress follows it and then serves you. It was awkward and unnecessary. I've been here multiple times and tried quite a bit off the menu: baos, bánh mì, bun bo hue, vermicelli, lo mein, pad thai, General Tso's, and rice plates. Everything has been typically solid, though nothing particularly standout. The flavors overall are a bit on the mild side, especially in the soups and meats, but the variety makes it a good choice if you're dining with a group or just want a casual, no-frills meal. It's kind of a "jack of all trades" menu with Vietnamese, Thai, and Chinese options. One thing I do appreciate: they're very accommodating with substitutions and custom orders, and the service is always friendly. It can run a bit slow if the place is busy, but nothing unreasonable. Overall, not a destination spot, but a good local option when you want something convenient, comforting, and customizable.

While the shrimp tempura was crunchy with a nice batter, I personally prefer the traditional proteins -- beef, chicken, pork, or tofu. BBQ Brisket Clay Pot ($19.50): A Thai-Chinese style clay pot featuring garlic, ginger, smoky brisket, onion, mushroom, Thai jasmine rice, green onion, sweet soy sauce, and chili garlic sauce. But this just didn't deliver the goods. Spareribs were four large boned ribs drowning in a slick reddish glaze with no taste of Chinese spices. Egg Roll tasted like burnt oil. The filling had some form of ground meats but no vegetables found before the taste ruined the experience. The first dish chicken chop suey was ok but didn't have much flavor other than steamed chicken pieces and some vegetables. Even the sauces on the table didn't help. Sweet and Sour Shrimp was a complete failure. The breading was cooked to smithereens in oil that hadn't been changed in a long time and the shrimp were shreds of whole shrimp. Bad taste all around. The dish was presented with over cooked dark colored breaded stuff,a few slivers of green peppers and onion with sauce in a cup. No pineapple! If they need an excuse than I guess preparing a take out for someone's graduation party of 60 might explain the over-used oil and lack of flavor. But I'm not going back to find out. It wasn't worth the time or money. Hope you have a better experience.
