Great new addition to the greater Buda/Kyle metroplex area and just what beer geeks like me here needed. No more running up too ATX, San Marcos, or SA to try great, local, craft beer. By local, they really mean it. They are trying to get brews that are local to the Buda area. And while they may carry a tap or two from breweries in Austin/SA, they really want to spotlight breweries that are not Austin or SA based, really defining "drink local." We went during their soft opening and they had a steady, if not busy stream of customers, which all managed to get served timely and had their questions answered (some customers were new to the craft beer scene). Really look forward to coming back here and setting their additions (outdoor seating). No food as of yet but you can bring your own or call it in (pro tip: there's a Papa John's next door and a Thai restaurant a block away) Looking forward to many more pints at this new hang out spot in the 78610.

The menu consists of more than just pizza, in fact many people near us had salads for their main course. We chose a gluten free crust pizza with meats (ham, pepperoni & sausage). The pizza toppings were tasty but, the crust was just ok (too thin to pick up and too tough to cut with our plastic knives. The soda selection is quite limited (Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, a pink lemonade and unknown sodas. The situation wasn't helped by the fact that the machine's ice dispenser was broken on a hot evening. We chose to sit outside to enjoy our meal at one of the super long picnic tables. Each probably sits 12+ patrons comfortably. Great area for kids to run around nearby so as you would assume, lots of young families. It seems to be a great meeting place for families & groups. The biggest downside to our dining experience was the outside trash can. Patrons cleaned up after themselves & the trash can was overflowing. I chose to go inside to throw our trash away and to inform staff of the trash situation. (No need having all that trash near your tables & front door) The staff informed me "we don't touch that. That's the City of Kyle's responsibility. They pick up on Saturday nights." Unfortunate that my visit was 6pm on a Saturday night. I can only imagine how messy the entire area will be by 9pm. I hope that the owners and management can figure out a way to handle this issue since the majority of the trash I saw inside & outside of the trash can was from their patrons.

We walked in looked at the menu on the counter and then placed our order and paid. We were given a number and then went to find seating. After sitting we waited for a while as they started making our pizzas. We ordered two orders of Mozzarella Facaccia Sticks to share. One order with cheese and one without cheese. They were both warm and soft. I preferred the sticks with cheese. One of my adult sons got a Classic Pepperoni Pizza and he enjoyed it. My other son got the Bacon Double Cheeseburger Pizza and he also enjoyed it. My husband ordered the BBQ Grilled Chicken Pizza. I tried it and it was tasty. The pieces of chicken were large and I liked the BBQ sauce flavor. It had a sweetness to it. I ordered a Ground Control Pizza which had pepperoni, sausage, red onion, green peppers, mushrooms, ham, black olives, and ground beef. I ordered my pizza without the ground beef. My pizza was tasty. It had different flavors and textures. The pepperoni, ham and sausage meats were good. The crust was doughy which I liked. It was a good pizza. Lastly we shared a Cinnamon Dessert. Which is a cinnamon bread with icing. It was delicious. The bread was warm and doughy and you could taste the cinnamon. The icing added that extra sweet element to it. It was so good. The perfect ending to our meal. Overall Aviator Pizza had a good selection of food. The counter service where you order was easy and fast for us. The delivery of the food to our table was pleasant and the pizza was good.

It was a little tricky to find at first since it shares the space with other bars. For a beer garden, the selection felt a bit limited, but the drinks we had were good. Nothing but 49ers jerseys and flags and the game on everywhere! Lots of covered seating, great deck, love all the decor, and all of it in great condition. The outdoor area off the deck has some areas for kids to play, but it's best for older kids. Seesaws are metal and fun, but there is no fence to keep those kiddos corralled in which I know some people look for. Parking was limited, and there were kids playing games and football in the parking lot which made me a little nervous, and they were playing with footballs that I could see hitting a car. The food trucks that night were limited, but the Mediterranean food truck was good! Nice falafel, a solid chicken shawarma salad, and hand dipped onion rings and mozzarella sticks that the kiddos definitely enjoyed. It looks like they have a burger truck too, but it was not open that night. The game volume on high, nice patrons, solid layout for the space they have, nicely maintained, friendly staff that make you feel like you've come there for years, all adds up to another great experience on Manchaca Rd!

It's such a lovely setting. The quality of the food is consistently where it should be. My favorite dish so far is the clams, which come with wonderfully toasted bread that is perfect for soaking up the broth. The mac and cheese is also deliciously rich and really hits the spot, and I love the cobbler. There are just a few things I'd tweak. The chips don't seem to be made in-house, and I find the salsa a little too spicy. The crab cake is a generous size and tastes very fresh, but I'd personally love to see it served with a crisp breading and some simple salad greens alongside it. I also tried the bone marrow and found the texture much looser and more gelatinous than I prefer. I've had bone marrow elsewhere with a firmer, more pâté-like consistency that was easier and more enjoyable to spread on bread, so that preparation is more to my taste. The service has always been excellent, and I really appreciate that they offer a small mocktail menu. My husband loves a great Bloody Mary, and theirs has good potential, but we both find the drink itself a little too watered down. We'd love to see it served a bit richer and more full-bodied. We still haven't worked our way through the entire menu, but my husband has had some excellent cuts of meat and also really enjoyed the mole. There is still plenty we want to try, which is always a good sign. Great food, consistently good service, and one of my favorite outdoor dining settings in the area. We're already looking forward to our next visit.

I could have used a little more butter because it gave the meat a kick. They let me taste the 2 sauces that you could add to your steak but it was not worth it. They didn't add any flavor. Hubby had the salmon and he enjoyed it. It was small but he was full after he ate it, the bread, green beans and zucchini that came with it. Overall it was not bad. I'd recommend that they not charge for everything, including sauces. Also, they should add some additional sides like baked potatoes or mashed potatoes, broccoli, etc.

We ordered from Allie, who is an absolute ROCKSTAR! After telling Allie our preferences, she suggested wine that we normally wouldn't have tried, but boy, does she know her stuff! We started with the "Spirit of the Vine" and a smokey red flight. After Allie's white wine suggestion, I fully trusted her to pick my white wine flight and she did an amazing job! We mentioned that we were on a family camping trip and she sold us on the port wine they make. I usually dislike ports, but this one was just like sitting by the fire eating a s'mores! Smooth, not overly sweet, and soooo good! We sat by the winery's back window and chatted with other patrons. We loved how beautiful the winery was; complete with a cold and hot water station, and to honor those for Memorial Day they had a remembrance table. We can't stop talking about Water 2 Wine. We sincerely hope we get to visit again. Thank you for incredible service and delightful wine.
