We were greeted with friendly hellos, but more importantly, so many people, patrons and employees, greeted our pup! Our pup was so excited! You could tell how special she felt. We ordered from Allie, who is an absolute ROCKSTAR! After telling Allie our preferences, she suggested wine that we normally wouldn't have tried, but boy, does she know her stuff! We started with the "Spirit of the Vine" and a smokey red flight. After Allie's white wine suggestion, I fully trusted her to pick my white wine flight and she did an amazing job! We mentioned that we were on a family camping trip and she sold us on the port wine they make. I usually dislike ports, but this one was just like sitting by the fire eating a s'mores! Smooth, not overly sweet, and soooo good! We sat by the winery's back window and chatted with other patrons. We loved how beautiful the winery was; complete with a cold and hot water station, and to honor those for Memorial Day they had a remembrance table. We can't stop talking about Water 2 Wine. We sincerely hope we get to visit again. Thank you for incredible service and delightful wine.

Service was attentive and we were seated quickly. For apps we ordered the barbacoa donuts and the whipped feta, which was enjoyed by all. For entrees we got a little bit of everything. My family and I went to Dos Olivos Market for dinner. My husband made a reservation but we really…read moredidn't need it. We walked in, told the person at the front our name and were seated quickly. The restaurant is nice. It includes a little market in one section with various food items that you can purchase. There is also a seating area with couches near the market section. The restaurant has different sized tables for seating. Not long after being seated we were greeted by a waiter that did an excellent job taking care of us the entire time we were there. He took our drink order, gave us menus and some time to decide what we wanted. After a few minutes he brought us our waters and took our order. We ordered several items. El Olivo which is a garlic bread. It was okay. The bread was good. It was nice and warm and the garlic flavor was all on top. Whipped Feta which comes with grilled Naan and cucumber slices. The Naan was okay. It was a little cold and needed to be warmed up a little more for my liking but my kids ate it up. The cucumbers were fresh and crisp and the whipped feta was pretty good. It had a slight lemon flavor but not enough to where you could taste the lemon with every bite. Pork belly chicharron which had pork with avacado covered in a sauce. It came with tortilla chips. The tortilla chips were thick and crispy. Perfect for scooping up some of the pork belly. The pork belly was delicious. The sauce that covered it added flavor and the avacado was fresh. The Lamb chops came with Lamb, carrots and a puree. The lamb itself was excellent. It was cooked perfectly and was tender with each bite. The carrots were slightly sweet and the puree was soft. It was a good mix of different textures with each bite. The Truffle mac and cheese was a macaroni and cheese with chives and truffle flavor. This was very tasty. The macaroni was tender, the chives were spread out and added that slight onion flavor. The cheese was very flavorful. One of my kids ate almost all of this. Barbacoa Doughnuts which are mini doughnuts filled with barbacoa topped with a salsa. I don't really like barbacoa but I tried them and was pleasantly surprised. These were delicious. It was basically a soft and warm mini doughnut filled with flavorful barbacoa. The sauce on it added a slight spicy flavor. Patatas Bravas are potatoes with salsa and a garlic aioli sauce. These were very tasty. That salsa and aioli sauce are what gave this dish all of its yummy flavor. The potatoes had a crispy exterior with a soft interior. All of the ingredients mixed together made a very good side dish. One of my sons ordered the Dos Olivos Burger with Tater Tots. He said that the burger was okay. I tried it and I agreed. The tater tots were good. He ate those up with some ketchup. My other son ordered the Fried Chicken Sandwiches with everything on the side. He substituted a salad instead of the fries. He ate the salad up. He also ate the Fried chicken from the sandwich. He said it was good. He is not a fan of sesame seed bread so he opted not to eat the bun. I tried the red cabbage apple slaw that it comes with and it was okay. Lastly I ordered the Beet Salad which comes with beets, pears, and candied pecans. I don't usually eat beets but I wanted to try it. It was very good. The beet chunks were large and soft but not overly soft. The pears and the candied pecans added a crispier texture and the mixture of all of the ingredients along with the sauce that was on it made this a super sweet beet salad. Almost like a dessert. It was delicious. Overall the restaurant is a cool spot to visit. The market is a neat addition that adds to the ambiance of the restaurant. The service was excellent and the food was delicious.

We really enjoy Taste on Main and always look forward to coming back. I've sat both inside and…read moreoutside, but my favorite spot is the back deck surrounded by the huge trees. It's such a lovely setting. The quality of the food is consistently where it should be. My favorite dish so far is the clams, which come with wonderfully toasted bread that is perfect for soaking up the broth. The mac and cheese is also deliciously rich and really hits the spot, and I love the cobbler. There are just a few things I'd tweak. The chips don't seem to be made in-house, and I find the salsa a little too spicy. The crab cake is a generous size and tastes very fresh, but I'd personally love to see it served with a crisp breading and some simple salad greens alongside it. I also tried the bone marrow and found the texture much looser and more gelatinous than I prefer. I've had bone marrow elsewhere with a firmer, more pâté-like consistency that was easier and more enjoyable to spread on bread, so that preparation is more to my taste. The service has always been excellent, and I really appreciate that they offer a small mocktail menu. My husband loves a great Bloody Mary, and theirs has good potential, but we both find the drink itself a little too watered down. We'd love to see it served a bit richer and more full-bodied. We still haven't worked our way through the entire menu, but my husband has had some excellent cuts of meat and also really enjoyed the mole. There is still plenty we want to try, which is always a good sign. Great food, consistently good service, and one of my favorite outdoor dining settings in the area. We're already looking forward to our next visit.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Our waitress explained everything and answered our questions. They just changed their menu and it is small. We started with the sourdough bread as an appetizer, and it was delicious! I had the butchers cut steak and the green beans. It was cooked perfectly and was tasty. I could have used a little more butter because it gave the meat a kick. They let me taste the 2 sauces that you could add to your steak but it was not worth it. They didn't add any flavor. Hubby had the salmon and he enjoyed it. It was small but he was full after he ate it, the bread, green beans and zucchini that came with it. Overall it was not bad. I'd recommend that they not charge for everything, including sauces. Also, they should add some additional sides like baked potatoes or mashed potatoes, broccoli, etc.
