How can food taste this satisfying? The textures, the flavors, everything was spot on. We might have just ordered the right dishes but eating here was one of the most satisfying culinary experiences of my life. I'm Eastern European, and I probably have a slightly different taste palette than most Americans, especially when it comes to meat preparation but for me it really hit the spot. I still dream about this place. The service was quick and good, though we were the only customers - we came sort of off hours. It's a rather small and casual place. Nothing fancy, just simple, good eats.

I've been here twice - first time I had a great experience, second time not so much. Basically, do not come when it's packed, they don't have the manpower to accommodate a full house currently. When they're not busy, the skewers are cooked perfectly. The recent time we came, most of the skewers were either undercooked or overcooked, unfortunately. Chicken skin is on the chewier side, not crispy. Chicken wings are good and a massive size. Potato tornados were popular and decently good. Beef and chicken bites skewers were good fresh. Intestines were pre-marinated before grilled, so they were too salty. Service was okay, but they're very overwhelmed. I saw other customers getting really angry because the food was taking so long to come out. Our food also came out slowly (second visit), so we just ate slowly as each skewer came out. It didn't make for a very cohesive dining experience, but it is what it is. We also asked our server to make sure our items were coming a few times, and he went into the kitchen to check for us and then the item came out. All in all, the flavors are decent. Not very spicy at all though. Good when they're not busy, but otherwise - would not recommend coming at a busy time. You'll be waiting to eat for a long time.

Originally I planned to have Peking duck next door but it didn't work out so came here instead. TLDR, order the BBQ items but skip the other non BBQ items. Chinese BBQ is a popular street food or late night snack and it seems it's becoming more popular in NorCal finally. This is one of the better places in terms of taste when it comes to the BBQ items. First, as I stated earlier don't order the non BBQ items such as Hainan chicken which is cold and not tender at all. The chicken rice is also way off. I think they put it on the menu just so parents can order for their kids while they themselves can order the BBQ. The beef tripe casserole is better but still I think BBQ is where the restaurant shines. The BBQ items such as lamb kebabs are really good. It's a good mixture of fatty chucks along with lean meat that's done properly. The spices are not overbearing and can be a little grainy so I suggest the restaurant go lighter on the sauce. The chicken heart is a little too well done and doesn't look like the photos. What I do like is that there are items such as lamb tendon which is rarely offered in other BBQ restaurants. The corn is also interesting because they didn't cook the whole cob but instead put individual kernels on the stick. The restaurant is surprisingly popular among families with young kids as I saw many families came to sit down. The parking in front of the restaurant is small and hard to find but just go to the other side of the McDonald's and you should be able to find some. Overall a decent addition to the Chinese BBQ restaurants in the Bay Area.

Been here a couple times, I was happy to find a place that actually serves this type of skewers! I always see these at festivals, where the skewer stalls have super long lines, so it's nice to be able to get it from an actual sit-down restaurant. I went during lunchtime on Sunday, there weren't too many people there so the food came out pretty quickly. I ordered beef, chicken heart, cauliflowers, and stinky tofu. They were all pretty tasty. The beef is a little fattier than I like, but it's just personal preference. One note - I ordered with "normal amount of spice", but I didn't really taste much spiciness. Also, the server was nice and helped me figure out a good amount of food to order. Overall a pleasant place to get this kind of skewer bbq meat if that's what you're craving. The restaurant itself is bright and clean, not much decor but I'm not here for that. Will keep coming back when I have skewer cravings!

It is a good Chinese style BBQ skewer place. I ordered lamb, beef, chicken heart and etc. It is slightly too salty for me but the service is fast. The general environment is chill as well so it can be a good small group get together place with friends.

Average toilet. The mirror has strong ambient light that you can see well if there are meat or veggie on your tooth. Food is very ordinary compared to other BBQ skewer places around. Don't get the chicken skin, it is saggy. They need to cook for longer time. Chicken heart is little bit over cook. I think their bento is pre-cook heat up. Quality is average. Not all the food on the menu are available which is kind of weird since the restaurant opens such as duck blood Toilet 4/5 light mirror is a plus Food 2/5

Food 4/5: solid beef and lamb skewers. Chicken skin could have used more time cooking so they're crispier. Depending on personal preference, skewers may need a bit more seasoning. Good service and vibes. Would go back.

We came in on a Friday night, food itself is actually pretty good (lamb tendon skewers) but we waited probably 35 mins for our first skewers to appear and then probably another 20 mins for the rest. Wait staff were also very overwhelmed but trying their best. Would be back for skewers but only on a weekday.

You know how they say Sunnyvale is the Beijing of America? No? Well, they should start saying that. The food and atmosphere here at Beijing BBQ felt just like the late-night holes-in-the-wall I've been to across the Pacific pond. From the glass bottles of 北冰洋 to the complimentary sunflower seeds, everything was as authentic as it gets. The Keep Running clips and assorted kpop music videos on the TV only added to the vibes as well. Aside from the well-seasoned skewers, the entrees were equally appetizing.

    Pork casserole is good.

I wanted to like this place but it didn't stand out in the category of BBQ of western Chinese style. The BBQ flavor was average. It wasn't spiced enough to have the significant kick in the mixture of flavors. Western Chinese (xing jiang region) barbecue consists of mainly cumin and chilli pepper. The cumin flavor was lacking. The roasted pig trotter showed two pieces in the menu but we received only one. Mostly bone not much meat, not worth at $7. Useless food warmer lit by candle was brought to the table but the hungry gobblers cared less. Spent over $100 for four, I wasn't full even though I am not a big eater. The girl said there are many other items you haven't tried yet. Ok? You gonna pay to feed me? Haha. Cramped space but overall clean and newly renovated. The moon wall design was absurd. Chinese characters were on top of the kitchen indicating their target customer. I read Chinese and they don't make sense! Stick back to Chef Yang even though I strongly dislike their service.

It was awful! The worst crawfish I have ever had!!!It's not fresh, it's frozen, and it's been frozen for a very long time!

You place your order through a QR code, which makes the process quick and easy. This visit, we ordered the salt and pepper chicken wings, Tidu Sliced Beef Pot, and Tianjin Eggplant. The wings are a must-order here. They're always perfectly fried and crispy on the outside while still staying juicy and tender inside. The Tidu Sliced Beef Pot reminded me of a dry hot pot. It had a great mala flavor with a subtle numbing sensation, and the peanuts added a nice crunch and texture to the dish. The Tianjin Eggplant was simple but delicious, with flavorful pork that paired really well with the soft eggplant. Overall, the food here is comforting and satisfying. It's a place I'll definitely keep coming back to.

Had a great experience prior to this with a friend so I wanted to bring my mom to try. My experience from the service however was a little uncomfortable. When I went with my mom there was no customers. The server seated us at the bench closest to the wall (the table was pushed into the bench against the wall so we had to move it.) Apparently a lot of the legs on some of the tables and benches are wobbly so they put things under to balance it. The servers told us to move it back under the table since we pushed the table out to sit into the bench. My mom is older and she has a hard time walking, she asked to switch to another table where the benches and tables were already spaced out properly because it is hard for her to bend down and move the things under the table legs. The server gave my mom an attitude and asked why two people couldn't fit into our current table.

I would love to tip more, 18% or even more than 18% if the service is good and of course tip 10-15% if the service is bad, but they just take that from your credit card leave you no options and I do not like that. Although the new Cupertino location is smaller than their previous spot, the food hasn't missed a beat. We started with the Taiwanese kimchi and century egg tofu with pork floss! both great appetizers that set the tone for the meal. For mains, we ordered the tendon beef soup, dry mixed noodles, and the peanut-braised pork feet. Everything was flavorful, comforting, and reminiscent of classic Taiwanese home-style cooking. The dishes leaned slightly on the sweeter side, which added to the nostalgic feel. The standout for me was the beef tendon braised soup! The soup was hearty with picked mustard elevating the natural flavor of the beef, super satisfying, perfect for me to order because I usually don't eat the noodles. The tendon so soft and melts in your mouth! W texture Service was impressively fast; our food arrived within five minutes of ordering. The interior, however, feels more like a commercial kitchen and retail space than a traditional restaurant, with shelves stocked with Liang's Village frozen foods and sauces available for purchase. It's not the most atmospheric dining experience, but the food more than makes up for it. If you're craving authentic Taiwanese comfort food in the South Bay, Liang's Village is definitely worth a visit.

After placing our order, the food came out relatively quick. We ordered 2 beef noodle soups, the works, and 2 beef rolls. Starting off with the beef rolls, these came out cold. I heard that this is what this place was known for. The meat in our rolls wasn't even lukewarm and the pancakes came out super soggy almost like they didn't even try. Please tell me how the pancake look brown and crispy on the outside and still comes out cold and not crispy at all. My nephew even said they weren't crispy and he's 3. The lady told us that the sauce on the inside was salty and that's why they don't give extra and man was she right. 1/5* The beef noodles soup itself flavor wise was good and portion wise it was good for $21, but my noodles had no chew to them at all. I was attempting to pick them up with chopsticks and they would just break into pieces. They do give a decent amount of beef though in this. 2.5/5* for the flavor but don't expect much from the noodles. Same thing went for the works, it was a peanut buttery sauce that the lady claimed wasn't spicy, but my parents noticed that it had a kick to it even though they asked for it not to be spicy. The egg is a nice touch but not too sure if it's worth the price. Noodle consistency was the same as the beef noodle soup. 2.5/5*

There's schezwan peppers or Mala in it but it was not overpowering that it numbs your tastebuds! The tofu was soft and silky. The beef had good flavor and balanced the meal out. Beef was tender. The name is also really misleading because many Taiwanese restaurant use Grandma as the name. As a foodie this restaurant is legit. It's in a small plaza shared with another Taiwanese restaurant so parking can be difficult but there are plenty of street parking right next to the restaurant. The interior is clean and well organized. The service is prompt and good enough. They ask for reviews but didn't promise some freebie for a semi fake 5 star review which is great. I never leave a good review just for a freebie because my integrity is way more expensive than freebies. The food is phenomenal and authentic in every way. The frogs are tender and the spices are not overwhelming and brings out the flavor of the frog meat just right. The cured pork (pig face meat) is very rare in the states. It's also cured properly to give the authentic hunan flavor. They also mix it with raddish slices which is also rare in most Chinese restaurants here in the states. Even the conch with bamboo shots surprised me in how thin the slices of the conches are. It's also flavored without being too spicy nor too salty. Everything is on point. I do wish they used better white rice but that alone is not enough for me to take off any stars. This is just a wonderful restaurant that's on par with my favorite hunan restaurant in San Gabriel and I'm so glad I found it because I'm sure going to go back every week now.
