Staying at Great Wolf Lodge and found this eatery through a Google search. Arrived at 6pm and was seated immediately. Hostess and server were very nice and helpful. I'm not a drinker but their drink list was EXTENSIVE. definitely worth a trip if you love options. Our fellow diner asked for a sample and they served a generous smaller portion for her. I got the Turkey BLT with fries- yummy and great portion- perfect really. One son got the kids pepperoni pizza and again it was the perfect size. Sometimes the kids pizza is small or thin but this pizza was thick and substantial. He left a crust and half a pizza. My other son got the wings with the chili honey sauce on the side. It was a bit spicy for him so they also brought out ranch. Our guests ordered pizza and it was 8 slices and perfectly shareable. I'm really happy that we came here. First let me start with the positives. The sweet potato fries were delicious. Those paired with their "awesome sauce" were perfect. The inside was fun, and very clean. Now for the negative. The service was horrible. The worst I have had in a long time. We were the only table and had figured out drinks and what we wanted to eat. 10 minutes go by and our waitress was still talking with the bartender. I got up to go to the bathroom in hopes it would trigger her to come take our drink orders. Nope. After a little while longer she finally came over. We had decided on food at the time so went ahead and put that in when she took our drink orders. She brought our food out, and then went back to talking with the bartender again and completely ignoring us. We needed new drinks so finally I got up to walk over there and ask her. She said, sorry I was too busy with TikTok. It was extremely frustrating. The burgers were ok. Not much flavor, and just seemed lacking and needed something else. Oh My went and the server Kasandra was the worst we had ever had at Beerhead. Took 20mins to even get drinks, then never came back for 34mins cups empty and no order was put in yet. But out of the corner of my eye she was standing outside in back talking to another waitress! She even dropped food off at another table just feet from us but never stopped after us saying excuse me! She just kept walking then cleaned a table off inside. WOW! Sat at table waiting to get check at this point! This is a great place to try out different beers and ciders. They run anywhere from 7-8$, but might come I. different sizes. We were able to catch the happy hour until 6 pm which gives a 50% discount for pizzas and local beers. Nice location above kings island off the highway with a newly developed area of shopping. Great pub to go for drinks or food! I stopped in with my mom for drinks since she lives nearby to check it out. The staff were very friendly and gave great service, the beer selection was incredible, cocktail list very nice, and food options looked good. We plan to return for live music on a Friday or Saturday! Per the previous review about cost, it's not a bar where you have $3 Coors Light, etc. There are plenty of $7 beers with many options that are higher priced. All the individual beer prices per flight pour are listed too. Based on the breweries they have on tap and by bottle/can, higher prices should be expected. This isn't a typical pub. You're not going for a Bud Light or a Blue Moon. It's about trying something new and learning about new beers/breweries. Expect to pay for it. read more

We stopped by on a whim for late lunch/early dinner. We had Larry as a server, he was friendly, prompt, and made great recommendations of food. I ordered a cider and it was perfect, not too overly sweet or carbonated. We got an appetizer of queso, street corn and chips. Flavors were great and we enjoyed the corn mixed with the queso. Hubby got the godfather pizza and I got a burger that wasn't on the menu but was recommended by Larry. It had Brie and bacon jam on it. It was cooked perfectly and the flavors were great. The fries were a little lackluster but were edible. I enjoyed the ambiance of the building. They were mechanic style shirts and had a garage feel to it with the bay doors open since it was a nice day. I hate eating outside but love fresh air so the huge open garage doors were a perfect way for me to enjoy both! So I passed this place and thought someplace new has opened. I decided to try it tonight. I would have given it three and a half stars if half stars were an option. The place is very trendy and a basic sports bar kind of place. The noise level is between moderate to loud. The menu has a lot of bar food basics like pretzels and cheese, wings, fries and chili fries, etc. The entree menu is pizza and burgers with limited time specials (eg. meatloaf and chicken sandwich and bbq beef sliders). They have 50 beers on tap and 300 cans and beers and a huge selection of bourbons along with a full bar. They also have a different Brunch Menu. I had the Mushroom and Swiss burger and I can say it was huge and juicy. It was overall bland. I think a lot like Robert Irvine and my first thought was there was no seasoning. Like many mushroom and Swiss burgers I have had, the combination of those two flavors usually gives the burger much flavor. Not in this case. Overall it was a good experience and I will return and try the pizza. I did see a couple and it looks pretty tasty so time will tell. Give them a try if up in the Kings Island area. read more

The food is average, but good. Where this place shines is it's beer an bourbon selection. With 50 beers on tap and even more in bottles, any beer enthusiast will be very happy. Decided to try this place tonight. The bad far outweighs the good here. Very close to Kings Island. They have 350 plus craft beers on the menu. That is what brought us in. That's the extent of the good. Now the bad. Small venue, small bar, limited parking. Very cramped. We paid over $24 for four 4oz pours for a flight. $6 per 4oz pour? It's double what you will pay virtually anywhere else. Ordered queso dip and wings. Portions were tiny. Not even a handful of chips and barely enough queso to cover 7-8 chips. The wings were tiny and my son and I both agree that the ranch that we ordered with the wings was spoiled. Had a very strong sour smell to it. All in all $100 for 2 flights, 2 small appetizers and a couple pints. Way overpriced for what you get. We may return to try another beer but forget about eating here or doing another flight. We were seated quickly, and our server was on point. There were six pages of drinks available, but we found the right beer at the right price. I thought the drink prices were reasonable, but the food prices seemed a little steep. So, we ordered a pretzel to nibble on while we decided on our main course. Drinks arrived quickly, then the pretzel arrived. I'm not kidding - it had to be a foot wide. It was huge. Like Bavarian-huge. We decided to scrap the burgers we were considering and went with a salad instead. The "BLT Salad" was a little misleading - I thought it would be bacon lettuce and tomato. And it was... But add cucumber, onion, blue cheese crumbles and a nice dressing. More along the lines of a "Garden Salad" in my humble opinion, but we shared it and there was still plenty left in the bowl when we called it quits. We did order the grilled chicken on the salad and it didn't come out with the salad - our server offered to take it back and replace it, but to be honest, we were still so full from the pretzel, we just couldn't see wasting an entire perfectly good salad just for a chicken breast. We didn't pay for the upcharge, so it was all good in the end. The only other issue we had was the volume of the bar - it was really loud for the space. Of course, like most new "industrial/edgy" places, since there is no cloth or wood to absorb the noise, it just bounces around. The ceiling is very high, so this also adds another level to the loudness. Is it a reason to not go? Heck no - they have outdoor seating, and we'll be out there the next time we visit. We really wanted to like Beerhead! We tried the patio out with our dogs over the weekend; I understand it was the patio but the ground and every table was gross. Again I understand it's outside, but sweeping every once in a while, especially after a messy group, can help. We ordered the big pretzel which was good! Very large for just two of us so we did take some home. As far as the other food, we really wanted to like it. The hamburger and boneless wings both tasted like frozen food heated up in an air fryer. The ambiance is great. The set up feels half in doors half out with their big garage style doors. Loads of tv's if you're trying to catch a sporting game. Food is superb. This place was not very good. We decided to try it for a dinner, I'll start with the good. We were impressed by the vibe when we walked in it is a cool looking place, cool decorations with the beer tap chandeliers, and the service was great we had two waitresses who were very on top of things we never had an empty glass. The beer menu is massive and local, so very nice. Now for the bad things, it's just the food. The food was not good at all. The burgers were flavorless and just fine. The fries quite literally tasted like the frozen ones you can buy at Kroger just not good. Overall edible, however extremely disappointing at $14.50 per meal ($15.25 for the one with ranch to dip the fries in). I think the waitress could tell I didn't enjoy the food too much after I declined my to-go box with all of my fries and half my burger left on my plate. So because of the price in food and how much it did not taste worth it we will not be back soon and I would recommend going somewhere else for dinner. This has become a regular spot for my boyfriend and I. We try to go once a month and absolutely loveee the Bavarian pretzel. Personally, we don't like the mustard sauce it comes with out of the three choices, but are able to sub it for an extra beer cheese or awesome sauce. We walked in just before 6:30 on a Saturday night we figured there would be a wait. But there is nowhere to wait. The bar area and overall restaurant inside are very small. They quoted us an hour. We were seated within ten minutes. The drink menu is pages long so lots of options, it almost is too many options and the yellow clip board was not sorted well. The server was by far the highlight of the trip she was attentive and very kind. But the food was awful. Doughy pizza, bland sauce, minimal amount of mushrooms and the fries were blah. We did the garlic and they still lacked flavor. Was an inexpensive meal but will not be back to dine maybe to drink on the patio in the summer - but seriously food was just not good. read more

My husband and I recently stopped at Beerhead Bar and Eatery for dinner. When we walked in it was immediately apparent that the place has no sound deadening insulation. It was so noisy that I'm not sure you could easily carry on a conversation without yelling. We were told there was a 20 minute wait but ended up being seated almost immediately. Our waitress was very prompt in welcoming us and taking our drink order. We wanted to order pizza but when we tried she told us the pizza oven was not operational. Okay then burgers it is but when my husband went to order his burger well done she told us that they cook all their burgers medium well and she would have to check to see if they could cook it another way. Now we have eaten at many sports bars and my husband travels a lot for work and we have NEVER been told that you can't get your food cooked the way you like it!!! We had already ordered a Caesar salad and quickly decided that the salads would be enough. The pizzas are 1/4 of their menu items and the burgers were quickly eliminated so that didn't leave much to choose from so we ate the salads and left. I just find it hard to believe that you can tell your customers that they have to eat their burger the way THEY (the restaurant) want it to be cooked! We will not return to give this place another chance. We ended up at a little hibachi express place right near Beerheads called Zapporo and it was really good. Also get some sound insulation installed. It will help the noise immensely. I can't imagine what it is like when they have live music! read more

No pizza when we went which was fine so we ended up getting wings, a salad, and the kids got grilled cheese and fries. The wings were ok. The salad was good but too much dressing...but I wasn't mad bc the chicken was so dry so it balanced out. The fries had an after taste and the grilled cheese had NO taste. My kids left with maybe a third of their dinner eaten. We did order a pretzel and it was huge but too much salt. I'll say that was the best part. But for $85+ not worth a salty pretzel. read more
