Love, love, love this restaurant! This is the second time we've eaten at cozy's and I would go back all the time! The food is very good, the service is good and friendly. The vibe is perfect! I was able to snag a Christmas Eve Reservation for breakfast. We arrived around 10:30 and it was pretty steady customers. By the time we left around noon the parking lot was packed with a line out the door. It was amazed at how much room was inside for seating. It's deceiving from the street. Love all of the bright, rustic farm decor. I bet the patio area is nice in warmer months. My family split the apple bacon cinnamon roll to start. It was different. I LOVE COZY'S! A co-worker introduced me to this hidden gem and since I have returned MANY times. Their brunch drink are all good. I've never had any I didn't like and the same goes for the food. I love their local and organic ingredients and everything that comes out of the kitchen leaves you wanting more. Order anything, I'm not kidding. You won't regret it. This time I enjoyed the wonderful short rib skillet, eggs scrambled, which was juicy and comforting. The potatoes were spot on as always and the chimmichuri was an excellent addition. I can't believe I forgot to write this review. Well I stopped in with my best friend for lunch. We decided to split the Chicken Piccata and a cupcake for dessert. Now I will admit the way that the Chicken was prepared is different from any way I have had it done before, but that doesn't mean it was wrong or bad. Oh no, it was perfectly tasty. Now don't come here expecting to just get in and out, plan on relaxing while you eat your meal. I kind of think of it as Euro dinning in Liberty Township. Kind of laid back if you will, now that doesn't mean service is bad, but hey some people expect McDonald's at a sit down restaurant. I can't wait till some people travel outside of their comfort zones. Back to the food. The chicken was perfectly prepared, with plenty of capers (one of my favorites) the cream sauce was nicely seasoned and the pasta was almost too much. Thankfully I was sharing this plate, because I would have never been able to eat it all myself. I wish I had came in with time to order some wine as the empty wine rack next to my table was very nicely done as was missing an empty bottle; I could have easily placed one there. The Cup cake was a little dry, I will admit I was not impressed, it tasted like it has been frozen or been in the fridge way too long. This is the reason for the 4 stars. I happen to be a huge (not huge in size) dessert person, so if you are going to have a dessert make sure it is done right to the same level as the meal I just ate. Brunch at Cozy's brought another 5 stars! I've been lucky enough to never have to wait for a table at Cozy's but after arriving around 10am, the place started to fill up QUICKLY. Service is always outstanding here - from the host stand to the servers, to the manager checking in on you during the visit. The decor is one of my favorite things about this place, even the restrooms are decorated in such a neat way. The place truly does make you feel "cozy"! I never miss an opportunity to take advantage of the bloody mary bar - one of the best I've ever had. My boyfriend ordered the shrimp and grits which he described as spicy (the menu does mention cajun, I think) but he said the shrimp tasted very fresh. Someone I was with ordered the pancakes which were HUGE and also very good. I always go with chicken and waffles, it's my favorite and comes with a "spicy syrup" which just makes the whole meal. Breakfast/brunch review. I came in to eat solo on a Saturday morning and booked a reservation last minute on open table. Service was friendly and prompt, very friendly. I got the cinnamon roll, it was fine, like 3.5 stars. Liked the idea and flavors of sweet and savory (apple and bacon, yum), however the bottom was a bit hard. Get the skillets that have potato bottoms! I got the short rib skillet with egg and devoured it at the table and had enough leftover to do that again the next morning. The meat was well cooked and had a nice gravy. Whatever the seasoning is on the tater tots, I want it on everything. If I'm back in the area, I would visit again and try other menu items! read more

Love this place! Next time we are back in town, visiting Cozy's Cottage again is a must. First off, definitely try to make reservations (you can do this online or by calling). Sometimes seats will be open, but they will not seat everyone so their kitchen doesn't get backlogged. We found seats as the bar and had drinks while we waited. Even ordering at the bar, they will wait to place your order until the kitchen is ready. Everything is fresh, so the little extra wait is worth it! I went with the basic Morning Farnsted, the eggs were some of the best that I've ever tasted. The chicken and waffles looked really good as well. We chatted with other people seated at the bar and everyone seemed very satisfied. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere wherever you choose to go. I am very passionate about brunch so it says a lot when I tell you this is my favorite brunch spot. I've been there twice but I can see myself having a lot more trips here! Brunch is Saturdays and Sundays and the restaurant is full service with a full bar. Oh and they have a Bloody Mary self service bar where you can customize it to your liking! The nitro cold brew coffee is on tap and is amazing. You can also add liquor to it for extra. I enjoyed sharing a pitcher of mimosas with a few friends and later a old fashioned infused with bacon! For my brunch main course I had an eggs Benedict (delicious) and hash brown casserole (cheesy, potato goodness) and snuck a few bites of my husband's biscuits and gravy. Everything was served warm, fresh and amazing. Everyone in our party of 6 enjoyed their meals and had a great time. Kyle, our waiter, was attentive and friendly and even our waiter from last time came over to say hi! I could see this place being great for large get togethers, friendly dinners or even a date night. During both visits, the server had nothing but wonderful things to say of the owner and her son. The photos were from the brunch my wife and I enjoyed, and I'll say the lunch menu is a little more affordable than the dinner menu, but the portions for both are sizeable. Nearly everything I have ordered could have easily been lunch for 2. If you leave here hungry, it's your own fault! I've never considered myself a grown-up, but last night I ordered the Lobster Mac & Cheese. It was amazing. Rich, creamy, and generous chunks of lobster throughout... The restaurant is housed in a completely renovated home (cottage). We went to lunch and the small restaurant was overflowing with customers. There was a short wait for a table, which was an awkward wait, because of the lack of any size able entryway. The interior of the cottage entertains one large room used for dining and it is decorated to provide a very chic yet cozy feel. The kitchen is open for view with an island and bar seating in front of it. The lunch menu boasts moderate priced gourmet sandwich's and salads($10-15) and more expensive dinner type entrees. I had the grilled chicken sandwich with Brie and mango-Citrus Aioli. My friend had the Club sandwich and a Caprese salad. Both meals were excellent in flavor, and had a wonderful presentation. We were curious to see if the enticing sounding desserts held up to the quality of the food. We ordered the European trio (Créme Bruleé, Chocolate Mousse and Tiramisu). It arrived on a long plate in three individual sized portions. They were all above average, but the chocolate mousse was outstanding in taste and texture. A hidden jewel in Liberty Township! This place has been on my to do list for sometime. Lunch on a Friday afternoon was perfect. Plenty of parking. Choices of where to be seated included outside by the fire pit, patio, covered patio with heater or fans, or inside. We started lunch with a crab cake appetizer. These three little crab cake balls were absolutely phenomenal. No need to travel all the way to the coast to find delicious crab cakes. Not a lot of filler but just a yummy crab. Not greasy and the sauce served with it was a great addition. I also started with a apple cider mimosa that had a splash of cinnamon and an apple on the rim. Great drink for lunch without feeling guilty. For lunch I had the salmon tacos. The tortillas were fresh and made there. After eating fish tacos in San Diego I'd say these tacos are a winner. Of course dessert was next. We opted to share a chocolate mousse pie that was plentiful. To go, we got a slice of rainbow bright and carrot cake. I didn't want to leave with only making one choice for dessert. The staff was so welcoming and gracious. Our waiter, Drew, was super helpful and very attentive. All of the other waitstaff same today busy taking care of everybody. When I was looking at the desserts, I got a chance to see the kitchen staff at work. Also, very friendly and I expressed my thanks for a delicious lunch. A return trip? You bet! The only problem is going to be deciding what meal to have there. Ok, I love this place. This is everything cute, fun, and whimsical that I love in a new place to eat. I came here for brunch on a Sunday morning with my sister. It was the perfect girl's day out brunch location. The menu is limited, but with innovative items you don't find on other menus. I mean their OOEY GOOEY BACON CINNAMON ROLLS...come on. We saw the table next to us enjoying one of these monster sized, holy deliciousness infused treats. I enjoyed the omelet du jour which was essentially a build your own omelet. I chose goat cheese, spinach and bacon. I felt they were a little heavy handed on the goat cheese, but I am not one to complain about too much of a good thing! The homefries were tasty and the English muffin was good as well. It was served with room temperature cubes of butter (a nice touch for easy spreading) and a raspberry jam that was heaven. Their coffee was so, so, SO GOOD, and my mug was never less than half full. They kept that sucker hot and full the entire meal. My sister tried their fresh squeezed OJ and it was worth the hype. Service was excellent. Their is a large screen TV showing a live feed above the kitchen which I thought was really interesting. It's clear they are confident about accountability. We have been to Cozy's a dozen times for breakfast and have never been disappointed. The atmosphere, the service and the food have always been great. Tonight we decided to try it for dinner. Our experience was less than stellar. Since I'm a vegetarian and two of our dinner companions are pescetarian, we opted for the spinach and artichoke dip as a starter. Inexplicably it arrived with bacon on top, which was not mentioned in the description of the dish. While a bit annoying, we picked it off and enjoyed the dish. For my entree, I ordered the cauliflower steak and the soup of the day. The soup as well as all of my husband's sides were slightly warmer than cool. Disappointing but we dealt with it. I realize that sometimes vegetarian meals are a second thought. The cauliflower was described as roasted. As someone who roasts vegetables in general and cauliflower particularly several times a week, I was extremely disappointed. It was dry and had zero seasoning beyond drizzles of balsamic. Roasted veg should be drizzles with olive oil and treated to all of the beautiful flavors of seasoning (salt, pepper, garlic at the very least) It was also not very warm and not roasted long enough because all of the beautiful color of roasting was missing. The cocktails and amazing carrot cake saved our dinner from being a total waste. In the future, we'll stick to brunch. read more

Had a business lunch and needed a place that was comfortable and kind of quiet and we found it. Should have assumed it with the word Cozy, right. As you can see in the pics I took it was a cute atmosphere. Alexis killed with service and her smile. Nothing makes a visit better than having the team smile genuinely during your visit. Onto the food, we ordered the Donuts and they are awesome. I could smell them coming to the table and my mouth watered. Absolutely perfect!! Sue had the Chicken Parm with the soup and she loved it. The soup looked hearty and full of many things. I had biscuits and gravy( not the name). This was a stick to your bones kind of hearty and that was great by me. I eat every bite. They have posted farm to table in the restaurant and I believe this as they are transparent about the way they cook. They are in the open and have a camera showing the cooks preparing your food. This place is absolutely adorable! I love the ambiance there. I came with a coworker for some late-late breakfast. I ordered the pancakes with bacon and a side of scrambled eggs. To drink I had coffee which is very delightful! Only thing is, I wish they would've had almond milk or soy milk because I can't have regular milk/cream. Everything was really yummy! The bacon had great flavor and wasn't paper thin, the eggs were nice and fluffy and the pancakes were dense and filling. I would've liked a little more syrup since they are so large and dense. Only one downside is that it seemed to take a while to come out with the breakfast and then we waited a while for our check. read more

Then I saw a server walk up to the server station at the bar and grab a handful of cut lemons and out them in the side container to use later for garnish. How could I have just discovered this place? I am in love!! Cozy's is a cute little house that is a restaurant. Out back there is a fire pit with some Adirondack chairs. There's also a covered porch area for all seasons dining. We came on a Saturday afternoon for breakfast but discovered they only serve breakfast on Sunday. We were disappointed after drooling over the breakfast menu, but oh well, lunch it was! I started with a Bloody Mary and it was fantastic. Delicious and Spicy and they use Tito's vodka... None of that cheap well stuff! One wish is that they used a better garnish... Two empty green olives and a lemon and lime wedge. Wish they would have stuffed those olives with some blue cheese!! Boyfriend had a cup of coffee which was really smooth and mellow for a girl who normally adds cream and sugar. For my meal, I had their specialty burger with bacon jam, caramelized onions and blue cheese! It was heaven. I don't normally like chips but I really enjoyed their home made veggie chips. Boyfriend had the Cuban and it was tasty also. Did not try a cocktail but their cocktail list was to die for! Lots of great craft beers as well. I can't wait to go back for dinner and brunch. We shared a cupcake for dessert which was literally the icing on the cake. It was sooo delicious. Vanilla cake and icing with blackberry filling and a blackberry on top. All made in house. I have to give this place a 4 for the food, service and atmosphere! A few weeks ago I was here for a friend's graduation brunch. I couldn't believe how spacious of a restaurant it is! At least 4 different sections for seating. The whole venue is cozy just like the name...really makes you feel comfortable. The best part of brunch was the mimosas :) My meal was the poor man's breakfast. Great portion size and very flavorful.
