Cozy's Cottage - Short Rib Skillet - Incredible!

Cozy's Cottage has always been a hit‑or‑miss spot for us, and unfortunately our September 18 visit…read morelanded firmly in the "miss" category. My husband ordered the soup and shaved Caesar, while I went with the Carbonara. The soup arrived lukewarm, and the shaved Caesar was awkward to eat--shaved romaine simply doesn't cooperate with a fork. The Carbonara was completely uneatable and the biggest disappointment. What arrived at the table looked more like a soupy, broken sauce with noodles swimming underneath and a barely cooked egg collapsing into the bowl than anything resembling Carbonara. The photo says it all: a runny, unsettled mixture that never came together as a cohesive dish. To their credit, the manager removed it from the bill and apologized, explaining that a new chef is still learning the recipes and that the dish should never have been served that way. The issue, of course, is that it was served that way. Cozy's seems to be experimenting with "deconstructed" presentations, but it isn't working. The shaved lettuce Caesar came topped with a deviled egg, and the Carbonara featured that nearly raw egg sitting on top of a watery sauce. Sometimes sticking with what you know is the better choice. Despite this visit, we'll likely return--Cozy's can be charming, and when they get it right, the food can be quite good. But consistency remains their biggest challenge. Next time, I'll ordered the fried chicken!

The parking was horrible and this is the exact reason I don't go towards Cincinnati. I'm unsure about this place for my first visit.

The Liberty Collective is one of the best casual hangouts in Liberty Township--a place that…read moregenuinely works for friends, families, and all ages. The complex is large, lively, and designed for groups, with both indoor and outdoor seating that makes it easy to settle in and stay awhile. Billed as both an entertainment and dining destination, the Collective offers five different restaurant options, covering everything from burgers, wings, burritos, hibachi‑style bowls, fried chicken, salads, and pizzas. Dessert lovers tend to gravitate toward ice cream at The District, but there's also a shop offering macarons and cupcakes. Everything is ordered counter‑style, and you'll get a text when your food is ready for pickup--simple, efficient, and perfect for a casual night out. We haven't had anything we didn't enjoy, but the burgers are the standout favorites in our group. For adults, there's a bourbon bar and a second bar focused on craft cocktails and beer. And if you're serious about your beverages, there's an entire wall of 30+ self‑serve taps featuring beer, wine, and cocktails. We haven't tried the tap wall yet, but it's a fun option for those who like to explore. Only wish one of the restaurants serving craft beverages, had freshly brewed iced tea. There is iced tea in the soda fountain but it's not the same as fresh. We usually sit outside at the communal tables and watch the kids play sand volleyball or cornhole. One evening they even had karaoke--and true to the family‑friendly vibe, kids were welcome to grab the mic and have their moment. The Collective does enforce a teen curfew; after around 5 p.m., teens need to be accompanied by an adult. With the high school right across the street, it keeps the space manageable and enjoyable for everyone. A casual, local favorite that truly delivers on food, fun, and atmosphere.

We chose The Manor House for our winter wedding based on location, price, and space availability…read more What we received was an elegant wedding, great food, professional staff, and an unforgettable experience. Despite dealing with COVID restrictions, The Manor House was able to deliver a high quality event and made navigating a pandemic wedding as comfortable as possible. Venue staff put our needs first, and they were extremely attentive and flexible. Shannon was our venue contact. She was absolutely delightful to work with. Shannon was responsive, polite, and assisted greatly as an industry liaison. She was certainly a major contributor to the success of the event. We had several unanticipated changes the day before the wedding. The Manor House worked with us to create an outcome better than previously planned. We believe this showcases the venue's ability to pivot quickly while providing quality service.

if I could, I would give it zero stars!Yesterday was one of the poorest excuses for an Easter…read moreBuffet I have ever been to. I was embarrassed to have my family there. It didn't look very well attended and now we know why. They must have known something that we didn't. I have been to several Mother's Day Buffets there and I know that they know better than to charge $55.00/person for the cheap garbage they foisted on the guests. How many ways can they serve PORK(the cheapest meat on the market and half the price of a pound of hamburger), along with dozens of hard boiled eggs at less than 2.00/doz., some beef that was tough and obviously a low price cut or mystery meat. The salads were sparse, there were no cheese selections at all, no juices served, and not a single vegetable was on the menu. I don't believe that I have EVER been to a buffet that didn't at least serve green beans(but then, right now they cost more/pound than pork). The buffet was FULL of "filler foods" like donuts and muffins. The service was terrible. If you wanted something to drink, you had to go get it yourself. That "buffet" wasn't even worth $150. let alone $275.00 There was a sign out front that said "Mother's Day Buffet". We will not be stupid enough to be "taken" a second time. We will NOT be back.
