I go to the club for the Yoga Classes. Before Covid there were so many great classes. I truly understand all classes were suspended as ordered. The problem is the club will not bring back classes. There are very few classes only now although all of us have asked, filled out cards and expressed an interest to stay there for their classes. They are losing members and will continue to with local competition. It's sad actually for this club.

Grass tees are available as well Chipping putting green has the unique benefit of having a bunker as well if you want to work on your short game. We gave him our tee time, went inside, and checked in with another friendly gentleman. We were early, and they had an opening available, so they offered it to us. The starter was exactly what a starter should be. . . . He explained basic course rules, gave tips, and offered expectations/reminders about fixing ball marks, pin placement, repairing divots with sand, pace of play, etc., which I appreciate. I wish all courses were better at this. A few holes into the round, another friendly gentleman drove by and offered cold water. At the turn, yet another friendly gentleman in the snack shop made a sandwich and a burger very efficiently. A friendly marshal pointed out two wayward tee shots near the end, and I complimented him on the entire staff being so friendly. He said the Head Pro would love to hear that. We finished, went inside, and had a pleasant conversation with the Head Pro. Oh, and by the way, the course itself was fantastic! The layout was challenging, but fair. The conditions were outstanding! Even the sand bunkers were in good shape and raked, which hasn't been the case at quite a few Cincy courses. The Superintendent definitely knows what he's doing! Virtually everything about this experience was awesome! We can't wait to go back!

If I'm going to stay competitive in my business, I better start getting competitive on the course. Where to begin? Coldstream Country Club is the cat's meow of golf courses in the Cincinnati area. Located just far enough outside the noise of the city but not too far that it takes too much time away from the day to take a lesson. The drive from the city's center is just about 20 minutes and it never seems that long. For me, holding the golf club for the first time was as awkward as a blind date, but Matt, my golf instructor, eased me in to the stance and my game! That's right, I said game! I'm not going pro anytime soon or, ever really, but I absolutely feel that after the 4 lessons I have had that I have improved exponentially.Give me 4 more and I just might be able to go out with clients. He helps me help myself! He is an amazing golf instuctor with loads of experience and time on the course. Matt is extremely attentive and observant. His critique is professional and sensitive to my competitive, have to be awesome at everything nature. He allows me the opportunity to call myself out on my own mistakes and gives me a chance to correct them. I did learn the dress code the hard way. So, follow it carefully and be conservative! To be on the safe side, wear khaki pants and a shirt with sleeves and a collar. Nothing revolutionary for a country club, but these rules are nothing to push the envelope on.

Many show the wear and tear of the recession and declining membership. Not this place. I looked. The building was in excellent condition and had a relaxed formality about it. The decor isn't dated. Maybe 'classic' would be a better descriptor. I expected Don Draper to walk through the door at any moment. The staff was attentive but not intrusive. In the part of the club I was there were two other meetings going on off the main foyer. There was no overlap of noise or any confusion. Very nicely done. My group of 8 golfers play hamilton county courses throughout the year. We avoided Sharon Woods…read moremost of this year due to bad course conditions. After being told by staff at another county course that conditions were greatly improved, we booked tee times on Friday, November 14. The course was still in extremely poor condition with most of the greens having numerous bare spots all over them. Tee boxes and areas around the fringes were also very poor. The most outrageous aspect of this experience was that we were charged the full $47 high season fee to play on this mess. For a group of players who have been loyal to playing Hamilton County courses for many years, this was extremely disappointing to say the least.

No driving ranges but 2 putting greens by each 9. i like that they use flag colors for front middle and back pin positions. They have a small pro shop and restaurant. Have not eaten there. This is a hamilton county course. You need an annual car permit that is 10 to 16 dollars based on your county residency. Sand traps are decently maintained. You can walk but it is a challenge. Back 9 is harder for walking.
