Beautiful venue and an amazing staff too. Elizabeth did a fenominal job with my daughter's wedding…read more She took care of everything including last minute changes we had to make due to rain. Everyone was able to enjoy the day without any worries. Priceless. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous. In fact, every time I visited, I saw the most amazing flower arrangements. Better than anywhere I've seen. Everyone we met with was thoughtful and accommodating, especially with meetings, since my daughter was out of the country. The wedding was everything my daughter wanted and more. An unforgettable day for sure. The owner even went out of her way to make my daughter even happier, and it was truly appreciated. Thank you for an amazing day. I would highly recommend their venue and their gorgeous flowers.

From the first phone call to set up a tour to the moment I stepped on the grounds with my fiancée, I was treated with the utmost respect and most incredible customer service I could have ever expected. Working with Laura, Carla, Claire, Baylee, and Elizabeth (HUGE shoutout to all) made everything so seamless and stress free. They set up the barn with beautiful florals to make my surprise proposal one my fiancée and I will never forget. The grounds were beautiful in March and I can only imagine what they look like with everything in full bloom. Thank you so much to the amazing team at the Marmalade Lily. I would highly recommend!

It's certainly a stunning property a lot of history behind it and from what it looks like typically it's a venue for weddings. I had never heard of this property before despite being a Cincinnati native. I would imagine this would be a stunning venue for a wedding. Hopefully they have other events for the public: this was a very neat opportunity to see a musical and to get to visit the historic house and grounds.

My first attraction to this…read morevenue was the fact that you could have every wedding event in one spot - ceremony, cocktails, and dinner. Upon visiting Peterloon we were in love -- the charm is unmatched. We had our ceremony in the sunken garden, cocktails inside/outside, and a tented reception. The following really made the day spectacular: - Jamie and the Peterloon staff went above and beyond to meet any needs we could have. - After a rainy week the grass drained really well and pavers were perfect for the reception. - The air conditioned bridal suite - Ability to use baby grand piano - Fans in house - NO CICADAS SOMEHOW! - Working with Samantha Joy Events - she knows everything there is to know about Peterloon! Despite being a 90 degree day, guests were mostly in the shade for the ceremony and could cool off in the house all night long. If you have any hesitations - I truly think a rainy wedding at Peterloon would still beat a good weather day at any other venue! Thank you for everything, Peterloon staff! It didn't look very well attended and now we know why. They must have known something that we didn't. I have been to several Mother's Day Buffets there and I know that they know better than to charge $55.00/person for the cheap garbage they foisted on the guests. How many ways can they serve PORK(the cheapest meat on the market and half the price of a pound of hamburger), along with dozens of hard boiled eggs at less than 2.00/doz., some beef that was tough and obviously a low price cut or mystery meat. The salads were sparse, there were no cheese selections at all, no juices served, and not a single vegetable was on the menu. I don't believe that I have EVER been to a buffet that didn't at least serve green beans(but then, right now they cost more/pound than pork). The buffet was FULL of "filler foods" like donuts and muffins. The service was terrible. If you wanted something to drink, you had to go get it yourself. That "buffet" wasn't even worth $150. let alone $275.00 There was a sign out front that said "Mother's Day Buffet". We will not be stupid enough to be "taken" a second time. We will NOT be back.

The omelette station here was top notch. They had poached eggs next to it that looked like extra large egg McMuffins. They test better. The tenderloin was awesome. The ham was excellent. Adding dessert, and the ability of our out of town son to attend (with his significant other) made my lady the happiest she could be. With a little dessert, the starches made me sleepy, so some of the best coffee I have had in a long time was available. Goodbye Starbucks. Goodnight Dunkin. No match to McCafe for the Manor House coffee. I will do my best to come back next year (if it doesn't sell out before I get a reservation). I love this.
