Then I thought okay it's mid week, lunch time, so I came in. I was limited on time, came in and ordered a pizza and a beer. Told the server she could serve it in the to go box since I had to go sooner than I would have liked. Service was friendly, prompt and she still checked on me after I had paid. Although the place was not busy, there was a large table with a baby and 2 pre schoolers. They were all well behaved, but still I'm always surprised that breweries are now for kids. I really liked the decor!

My husband was saying how much better it will be when we come back in the summer with the huge patio and all the garage doors open. I agreed, but I also think part of the reason we loved it so much was that even though it was a cold, gray February day, inside Parks and Rec had so much greenery and lots of windows so it felt summery inside! Our server was super friendly and went over the menu with us, telling us which items were most popular and which were his favorites. I got the peanut butter porter which was really good and hubby liked his s'mores stout as well. We split one of their huge pretzels which came with whole grain mustard and beer cheese...delish!! Then I got a 1/2 apple and pecan salad, which was more pecans, apples and dried cranberries than salad (and I mean that in the best way!) My husband let me try one of his chicken wings which had a nice spice to it. We were very pleasantly surprised at how great our whole experience was because the reviews were pretty mixed but honestly, it was a great visit from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Savannah Center is tucked off of Union Center Boulevard in a vast green space. The wedding ceremony took place outside on a lovely sunny day. The couple said their vows inside a gazebo, which was positioned in front of a scenic lake and fountain view. The bridal party had a variety of places to take photographs, from outside, to the grand stairwell, to an area with posh seating that just so happened to match the wedding colors. Keeping with tradition, the bride and groom chose not to see each other before the ceremony. Each had private rooms on opposite ends of the building. After the vows, guests were led into a cocktail area, then later were seated in the dining room for the wedding party introductions. Dinner consisted of grilled chicken or filet mignon, with mashed potatoes and sauteed vegetables. I made a joke about mixed vegetables being "filler", but these were very tasty! It was a mixture of zucchini, red and yellow peppers, onion, and broccoli. The steak was succulent and as always, the mashed potatoes were devoured. I also enjoyed the pita chips that were served along in the bread basket. A small salad with red pepper ranch dressing was served for an appetizer. I'm not sure if the wedding cake was crafted by the caterers, but it was moist and savory. Throughout the evening, I spotted Mary, the wedding planner, keeping everything organized and on task. She works for Savannah Center and definitely had her hands full for this elaborate wedding: - Outside ceremony with about 150 guests - Live acoustic Celtic band: harp, flute, and violin - Five bridesmaids and five groomsmen, two flower girls, and a gigantic immediate family - Serving a three-course meal - A live band for the reception - A separate master of ceremony for the reception All of this, and she had to keep the bride and groom from seeing each other. The wedding went off flawlessly, and from what I could tell, all the guests were having a wonderful, lively time.

I have shot several weddings at Savannah Center - some included the ceremony there, too, in the outdoor area with the gazebo. First off, as a photographer, I really like the cool details in this venue. There's the staircase (to nowhere) which gets soft light from the windows by it - just perfect for gorgeous bridal and other portraits. I like the wood panel area with fireplace for the groom/groomsmen photos. The piano makes a great place to do photos - fun or otherwise. It makes for very cool wedding ring photos, too - with the reflection. The over sized chairs work well for photos of the bride and groom. And there's all the outdoor area/gardens. Even with the buildings in the background, there are ways to get great photos. Also, the food is very good - better than many venues/caterers. Another plus - you can't hear the music from other weddings. The bridal suite for getting ready is spacious and well appointed. Every time I've been there, the staff has been professional with good service. They've even helped move furniture in the main lobby for photos! In summary - I would definitely recommend The Savannah Center to couples looking for a wedding venue with some character and lots of pluses. It has a lot to offer, and they do a fabulous job!

The room itself was both clean and spacious, with a nice living room and kitchen upon entering. There were plenty of places to set, a pull out sofa, a TV and chest, a spacious desk, plenty of power outlets, and a well equipped kitchen. On the opposite side of a door, there was a clean and comfy queen bed, two side tables, a TV, plenty of storage, and power ports. In addition, there was a sink and closet with a ton of storage, and then a bathroom with a toilet and tub/shower. The only complaints I had were a lack of USB ports other than directly beside the bed, and a few caulk issues around the shower. As for the rest of the hotel, it was very nice with an indoor pool, business center, and fitness center. Both the free breakfast and customer service were fantastic, and the parking lot and outdoor areas were quite nice. The location is also good, close to IKEA and just up the road from downtown and just down the road from a huge mall and outlets. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this hotel.

My experience at Marriott was one of the most unprofessional and poorly handled situations I've…read moreever encountered at a hotel. I was attending an event where our group had rented a large portion of the meeting space. During the event, a member of their staff--who later identified himself as the food and beverage manager--was yelling at children who were simply being kids. They were not damaging property, not being destructive--just acting like normal children at an event. I approached him calmly to understand who he was and why he felt it was appropriate to speak to children that way. Once he confirmed he was hotel staff, I asked why he handled the situation so aggressively. Instead of responding professionally, he immediately escalated the situation. Rather than addressing the concern, he accused me--a paying guest--of trespassing and told me to leave. When I questioned that, he escalated further and called the police. At that point, I stayed to ensure the situation was properly addressed when law enforcement arrived, because I had done nothing wrong. Before they got there, I went to the front desk and asked to speak with a higher-level manager. I was told no one was available. However, when the police arrived, a manager suddenly appeared--but instead of helping de-escalate, the situation became even more tense and poorly handled. What's most concerning is not just one employee's behavior, but the complete failure of professionalism across multiple levels: - A manager yelling at children unnecessarily - Escalating a simple conversation into a confrontation - Falsely accusing a guest of trespassing - Calling police instead of resolving the issue appropriately - Management failing to step in and calmly resolve the situation This was not a misunderstanding--this was a breakdown in basic professionalism, judgment, and customer service. The situation escalated to the point that police were involved, which should never happen over something this minor. It reflects very poorly on how this property trains and manages its staff. I expect far better from a brand like Marriott. This experience was frustrating, avoidable, and handled poorly at every level. I would strongly caution anyone considering hosting or attending an event here to think twice.

I had a great view of the highway and Union Centre Blvd; along with the diverging diamond interchange traffic outside (no sarcasm, I was genuinely interested in seeing this, coming from California). Bar service was a little slow at night, but still a good experience nonetheless. Breakfast in the executive lounge was above average when compared to other Marriotts. They did run out of coffee one morning, but that's a small thing. Plenty of parking in the lot outside.

The white sauce was really good on the wings and I loved the Brussel sprouts. I also had the spicy Italian beef sandwich and I was not disappointed. A local said it's normal to park at the high school nearby but I'm not sure if that is a legitimate business agreement or not. Space inside is also tight. Not many places to actually sit and eat after you order food. Instead of making the upper level a smaller balcony style seating area, they should have just made it a full second floor. Restaurant order windows are directly in front of tables, so expect to be crowded around if a line forms. There are at least 3 bars as well as a self pour beer tap. The bourbon bar only serves pours of bourbon or wine. The bartender was condescending when I approached to look at the bourbon list so I didn't order there nor will I ever. The main bar has a cocktail list and large selection of drinks. I got a lavender cocktail from their spring menu and it was not good. Too much syrup. Definitely not craft cocktails, more like dive bar drinks. We tried dry rub wings from Bristol's and a taco, burrito bowl, mango salsa, and churros from Roberto & Miguel's. The wings were decent but I'd get them extra crispy if I were to try them again. The food from Roberto's came in very small portions. The bowl was ok, the taco was ok. The mango salsa was very good! Chips were decent as well. The guacamole in the bowl seemed fresh and tasted good. The churros tasted like funnel cakes and needed more cinnamon. We LOVE churros but these were not good enough to finish. We've had better at Aces Pickleball surprisingly. We left hungry. Overall the food wasn't super impressive, the bars lacked quality or good customer service and it was very loud and crowded. Again, it was a Saturday so it could be a little more chill on other days, not sure. Lots of children running around, and party music playing. They need more seating space and better parking. We will try again later down the line to taste other restaurants. So far I'd recommend Factory 52 over this place by far.

There is a bar area with a very cool dry-cleaner style conveyor belt where they have different bottles on display. There's comfortable seating at the bar as well as tables off to the side. There are also bathrooms in this area of the event space that were clean and had plenty of stalls. This area can be separated from the next room, which is bigger and seems like it can be customized for different events. For this event there were a bunch of eight foot tables for the breweries. There are also a bunch of garage door style windows that can be opened to create an indoor/outdoor kind of feel to the space. Outside there is a large area where there was a stage with live music and food trucks were able to pull in as vendors. Overall the event space lent perfectly to the Craft Beer Festival and could be easily adapted for other events. It also can accommodate a variety of group sizes.
