They have two levels so if you're trying to have something that's more private like a reception before the big event you can do that upstairs and then have a party downstairs. Parking is great too. Their staff is awesome and very accommodating to what you might need. The view outside of the golf course is absolutely beautiful and ideal for weddings - my mom told me this is wear my wedding will be....here's to hoping! Overall a great location!

The owner changed the original table layout without my permission, which made the space less comfortable and suitable for our guests. There were also additional issues with the owner during the event that came across as distasteful, and some guests even found the behavior rude. A staff member was waiting for guests when they walked in to hand them tickets to validate parking so we could park in the nearby garage for free. The ballroom where the wedding was held had tall windows that let in a lot of light. It felt a bit historic, with large chandeliers, but also enough of an elegantly-appointed blank slate where you could do what you want with decorations and it wouldn't clash. After the ceremony, everyone went up a floor to the balcony that overlooks the ballroom for cocktail hour, while the ballroom was flipped for dinner. The servers were friendly with drinks and hors d'oeuvres, and the staff in the ballroom pulled out the tables, which had been pre-set and waiting on the side of the ballroom. While anyone could see them setting up from the balcony, this did not cause any loud noises or interruptions. And then we headed back down for dinner, which was a mix of chicken and steak, I believe. It was delicious. Overall this venue was perfect for this wedding of less than 100 people -- the setting for a beautiful night.

There is ample parking. The inside holds 100 and the stone terrace holds 200. Elegant Fare handles all events held at the Lodge. Our daughter got married this past summer. She wanted a vintage/rustic event and the beauty of the natural surroundings and gorgeous venue convinced us the moment we saw it. The ceremony was held out on the terrace. The 220 guests had appetizers on the circular drive while the staff converted the ceremony space and wrap around porch into a seated reception with an area for dancing and DJ. We worked with Julie at Elegant Fare and she was knowledgable, flexible, accomodating and professional. The food was flawless. I can't say enough good things about our experience with this facility.

If you want to purchase them, they are sold at the Jungle Jim's market. I love Jungle Jim's events. They are always a great experience and you leave happy.

Her communication exceeded my expectations. I would recommend her for everything. She listened to EXACTLY what I wanted, was amazing, communicated, and even threw in multiple surprises! I didn't like to hear from my wedding party how they thought her boss was disrespectful and breathed down her neck ( I thought Katie was helpful, but it made sense once I heard it)... but she was able to take lead, and do an amazing job event planning while juggling other events leading up to my big day. You'd be crazy to pass her up and passing up the Oscar.. Don't come expecting some fancy-pants venue. Leapin' Lizard is definitely rough around the edges, but is filled with character. I came to the show with my friend's husband and we stopped back at the bar to grab a drink before the show. My friend ordered a whiskey sour. The bartender told us that she was waiting for the sour mix to be brought up but that she would walk the drink over to us when it arrived (in a very busy event), how cool is that!? The bar staff was SUPER friendly throughout the event and it definitely made an impression. I can't wait for the next chance I have to come back!
