New matcha boba milk tea! $6.50 And my guac in the background with chips $8 lol.

This place has great quality food, I must say it's my go to cafe when I'm at work. There's Asian options like the milk tea, Korean friend chicken(only on weekdays) and some Bulgogi bowls. Everything else is delicious! My fav so far is the beechwood salad. The dressing is the best. Service is also great, and the ambiance is so cute. The parking sucks but its JC what do we expect. I can't wait to try other things from this menu. I just say the cakes are a little too sweet for my preference but you might love it!

Small cute brunch place. Average prices. Food was pretty average. It fills up quickly on the weekends like around 10:30AM.

I came here for brunch with my friend and we were seated within five minutes. This is a great restaurant for some morning breakfast and coffee. I like that I can bring my own alcohol into the restaurant. I brought champagne and asked the server for orange juice and he was excellent he provided me with champagne glasses, a pitcher of orange juice, and a bucket of ice. The omelette was incredible. I asked to substitute my home fries for french fries and he was able to make that substitution for me. The ambiance inside the restaurant is great too. It is a spacious restaurant with a big menu. It was my second time coming here and I would keep coming back. 10/10 rec

California Omelet Morning Platter

Stopped in after one of the road running races in downtown JC and we weren't the only ones with the idea. There was a long queue of folks outside waiting to put their names in or waiting for a table. Luckily, there is a coffee shop to grab a warm (or cold) fresh coffee beverage whole you wait. The diner is owned by Korean folks so there are a few Korean fusion offerings. We opted for a more classic breakfast meal - California omelet and Morning Platter. The staff accommodated our request for the home fries to be extra crispy/well done. Nothing revolutionary or groundbreaking but well executed breakfast. Service was quick. We almost waited longer for our table than the time it took to be seated and served then eat.

Cute little brunch place in LIC! Was quite popular--waited a bit on a Sunday morning. The servers are all really nice. I got the blueberry pancake and it was yummy I could not stop eating it!

Weather conditions outside

Called this place to ask if they can seat 7, they said yes. We arrived and asked to be seated and they responded with "no". Then asked if it would be okay to sit outside. Please see the provided screenshot to familiarize yourself with the weather conditions. I don't know what was more a slap in the face, the "no" or the "go sit outside and pray the food doesn't fly away".

Perfect brunch place in Grove street. We went on a Saturday morning and it was not very crowded though most of the tables were filled out. There were outdoor seatings too. Ordered California omelet, beachwood waffle, iced salted caramel and a chai latte for the table. Service was faster and the portion sizes were big too. The syrup for the waffle was home made and that was the best. Definitely visit once.

Great cafe with a decent selection of food items. Ambience was really nice but the food was okay. The service was okay as well. In fact, I ordered a black coffee and I had to call the waiter over just to get a refill. The waiter did not check to see how we were doing. He just took the order and came back with the bill. Even though he was very friendly, the service was not that great. If I lived locally, I would definitely give them another try!

This is there berry apple crumble. Don't eat here!!

This is so nasty. Don't eat here, if you don't want to get sick. This had to be sitting there for a long time for it to get like this.

Chicken and waffles $19

I would have given five if it wasn't for the prices. Food was very tasty and I thought the wait service fine. They let my friend sit down without me while i was on my way. And she only had to wait 10 min for a table inside for brunch at 11 on a sun. While the food was good everything was overpriced. We both got the matcha latte for 6.50 which is about 1 to 1.50 more than other places. It was very good and had a strong matcha flavor and the latte art was a nice touch. My friends omelette was 16.50 after all her veggie additions. The bread it came with looked like super basic Arnold bread from the store. I expect something more rustic when I come to restaurants. The jam she said tasted home made though and she did really like her eggs. I liked my chicken and waffles. Chicken was super crispy and juicy on inside but $19 for a drum stick and a thigh is mad expensive. The waffle was room temp, almost cold. The jalapeno sauce was excellent. I want to come back and try the matcha pancakes since the latte was so good. And thier price was pretty reasonable actually. Unique menu item.

The inside is nice and bright so it offers a great start to your morning. Also, the wifi is pretty good so no issues from a work perspective. I ordered an avocado toast along with a cold brew. This has somewhat been a routine of mine since moving here and I haven't really been disappointed anywhere I've gone. This was no different. Loved the picked onion addition too. Now - the pricing is not necessarily breakfast pricing. Expect to spend around $20 for both a breakfast item and coffee like I did. But if you have the means to do so, then you might as well.

I took it to the counter and showed it to them. The server asked if it was alive or dead when I found them. I told him it was dead and looked steamed....like it matters... Long story short I asked for refund but they said they have to ask their manager who's not coming back that day since it is holiday and I would need to wait until next day for refund so I end up getting a cheesecake instead. The cheesecake tasted little sour so initially I thought it went bad. Also it tasted like it's been sitting in the fridge for a long time. You know when you taste fridge smell from the food. I lost sanitation of their food and will not recommend it to anyone

I got to pick a type of bread to go along with the meal and was about to choose sourdough until the server mentioned the option of a fresh baked biscuit! Bonus - it was served with butter and house made jam. My husband got the mojo chicken which was also very good, especially the black bean puree. We also wanted to try the crispy bacon fried rice (which also came with an egg!) and it was something we'd definitely order again. Last but not least, the service was amazing! For drinks, we went with the non-alcoholic Rose and Peach Please, both of which were refreshing. I also had a cappuccino afterward--while it didn't come with latte art, the taste and strength of the coffee were spot on. On our return visit, we tried the chicken sandiwch, and the pomegranate hummus. The chicken was juicy and the hummus was delcious. We finally had the opportunity to do so on a quiet Easter Sunday. First, the interior looks pretty amazing. A lot of history behind all the architecture and they did a good job preserving it. Because it was raining and chilly, we couldn't see the rooftop, but I can see the appeal. To start, we got an assortment of small muffins for the table. That was a nice touch. They were good too. For brunch, we each ordered omelettes. I got the Jalapeño & Cheddar while my fiancée got the mushroom and spinach omelette. We ended up complementing the items quite well. I did end up enjoying her omelette well. The vegetables were definitely fresh and cooked quite well. My omelette was nice and cheesy, how I like it. The jalapeños didn't have a crazy kick, but enough to satisfy. The potatoes were good too. There's no real coffee menu here (which is a slight miss), but I did enjoy the freshly squeezed orange juice as a nice change. I will be back.

I just tell myself that my dewy glass skin reminds him of frying oil. Anyway, the last time we got together, he picked Skinner's Loft for brunch. I was ready to write the place off, but I was pleasantly surprised by how good everything was. Skinner's isn't going to win World's Best anything, but it's a solid neighborhood spot with big portions for decent prices. The Buttermilk Pancakes were large, fluffy and satisfying. My Croque Monsieur was perfectly crispy and loaded with delicious melted bechamel, gruyere and prosciutto. One of the tastiest Croque Monsieurs I've had, including the ones I enjoyed living in France, and certainly bigger than its Manhattan counterparts. The Crispy Shrimp & Bacon Sandwich was also a pleasant taste bomb of basil, dill & cucumber remoulade, tomatoes, and, of course, bacon. Bottom line: Skinner's offers a brunch that's tastier and more affordable than many NYC joints. When you're hungover on a Sat morning, this might be the best place for you.

How the Chef managed to get the spice to meat tenderness ratio so perfectly, I'll never know but will always be grateful for. I tried the Cajá juice and loved it!
