Stopped by Beck's Shoes in Fremont and ended up having a way better experience than expected. I was just wandering around the store for a bit when Kaylin came over to help me out. Super friendly, not pushy at all. I realized I hadn't had my feet sized in years (shoutout to online shopping), so she measured them and then immediately started questioning why I was wearing the size I came in with I told her I've been dealing with a ton of blisters and foot pain, and she basically broke down everything--why my shoes were wrong, how sizing actually works, and even what kind of socks I should be wearing. Turns out I've been doing it wrong this whole time. She spent a good amount of time with me, was really easy to talk to, and clearly knew her stuff. I definitely walked out with more than I had planned to buy (shoes and socks), but honestly... my feet already feel way better, so no regrets. I'll be back for sure. read more

BOOT VENDOR DAVID GULARTE Warehouse/Truck vendor help me with my needs for my work. He suggested Boots told me that these run wide they're comfortable for women gave me two choices. I asked him what choice was a better choice between the two shoes. I am so pleased with his professionalism his enthusiastic of making me feel wanted and making sure my feet were in good condition with wearing the boots I purchased a DLWoods Goliath 6 inch booth the laces you lace up and it has a side zipper so once you lace up your boots, you'll never have to tie the laces on the boots again. She helped me to find some comfortable shoes; I tried on about 5 pairs and found 2 perfect fits!! She was very patient with me. GEORGE is my go to guy! He is my favorite sales associate. He tells me which products are the best for my personal needs.... My favorites are: Feetures socks (A MUST HAVE) Aetrex insoles (2305) (A MUST HAVE), non slip hoka bondi 8's (purchased around 10 pairs of them already), annual pairs of Florida Birkenstocks, I also switched to Birkenstock EVA's for inside the house, I was using aetrex slippers before, and all my dress shoes for real estate. I also wanted boots to walk my dogs with at outdoor parks, and I just bought a pair of athletic feeling keen boots. Comfort/style are important to me, and I love how George caters to my needs. He's a pleasure to work with, and it's more like I'm hanging out with a friend than a pushy shoe salesman. It's always a pleasure when purchasing any footwear I need, knowing I have a go to guy that I know I'm going to get great service from, but most importantly enjoying catching up with. I wish I could give 10 stars! Lynne was absolutely outstanding. I had recently bought some shoes that were really hurting my feet. When I called her, she told me to come in so she could help me figure it out. When I got there, she discovered that the original insoles were still in the shoes -- that was causing the problem. I went home feeling confident that was the issue, but after wearing them the next day, my feet were still killing me. I called Lynne again, and she said, "Come on down, I'll take care of you." And she really did. She went through several different pairs of shoes until we found the perfect fit. Jerry, the manager, was also outstanding -- both of them listened carefully, were patient, and genuinely cared about helping me find the right shoes. Returning the next day, Sam had me try on 3 more and ended with 1/2 size shorter and 1 size wider. Metatarsal support inserts were selected by foot pressure scan results. Went in to Beck's Today 10/15 like around 1pm with my Mom that recently got surgery on her foot and she was in need of some new wide shoes. The lady that helped us was so helpful cause we didn't know what kind of shoes my mom needed. The lady there "wish i remembered her name" brought out literally 10 pairs of shoes ranging from New Balances to Crocs to Comfy sandals. Beck was so nice and helpful in getting me properly sized and fitted for new exercise shoes. I was experiencing knee pains and I also have flat feet so my doctor recommended me to come here. Beck had a machine that analyzed which part of my foot I was putting weight on, and she also measured my foot to get the correct size. She then also brought out several pairs of shoes for me to try on after I let her know what kind of exercises I was planning on doing. My doctor also recommended insoles, and she was also able to help show me different options for that as well. read more

Terrible service, I went in there with my son and they were fairly busy ppl kept coming in and the big bald manager kept helping ppl that came after me I told him we were here first and he basically shooed me away telling me sarcastically to have a nice day after I told him we been walking areound waiting for 15-20min he didn't mind wasting my time had I was basically ignored the whole time... I was in need of some comfort shoes for work. I also wanted them to have a little bit of style. When I walked into Beck's, George welcomed me in and made me feel comfortable. He measured my foot and also had me stand on pad that measured my arch. I ended up needing some inserts along with the comfy shoes I purchased. George insisted I try on a few different shoes to get the right shoe for me. It doesn't really matter the brand of shoe I purchased...go to Becks for the service and knowledge they provide.
