Bebidas - Chicken Taco and The Dude Smoothie - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Houston, Texas

Great for juices and smoothies! The decor and vibe is great as well. I ordered "The Nino" which is a smoothie that has blueberries, strawberries, banana, peanut butter, honey, flax, and almond milk. It was delicious! 8$ is a little steep for a regular sized drink but I'll probably be back to try other things! The only reason I took off one star is because it did smell a little funky in there. read more

Such a cute location and their coffee is good, we've been going since they opened. That said, we went to take the kids for hot chocolate this weekend and it was the worst we've ever had...EVER. Think worse than watered down Swiss Miss out of a canister at a junior high football game level bad. We almost went for our money back but the kid working at the register had bragged repeatedly about how he personally made the best hot chocolate in the world.... we didn't want to burst his bubble. Next time I'll pack the Yeti along from home. read more

Bebidas is a cute little cafe with plenty of seating arrangements outside. I love discovering cafes like Bebidas where there are benches and tables outside with big trees overhead. Now on to talk about the food. Avocado toast -I only ordered because this seemed to be their signature menu. It was a little pricy, 6 dollars. It's one bread toast sliced on 3 pieces with avocados, baby sprouts and raffish on top of it. I've had my fair share of avocado toasts in the past and considering their price and portion, mehh I wouldn't order it again. Chicken salad sandwich - I LOVED IT! the chicken salad inside the bun was delicious! Very filling and was good price too. I would even come back to Bebidas just for this sandwich yummm Juice is expensive here, around 8 dollars. But coffee is rather cheap, house coffee was around $2.50. The inside wasn't big but had a chill, calm ambience where I've seen several people working on their laptops! **one more thing, their restroom is not clean... I'm just gonna put it out there.. I would definitely come back when it cools down a bit to sit outside and just hang out, catch up with friends read more

I had a smoothie and taco and shared a muffin and cinnamon roll. Everything was really good! I've had many a taco and this one was one of the best. Healthy and tastes great... you can't beat that. Friendly staff as well. Relaxed atmosphere, sat outside where our little guy could play. Will be back! read more

Absolutely love this place the avocado toast with queso fresco was amazing! I ordered a Agua Fresca and it was so delicious! I highly recommend this place to anyone they have lots of great options to choose from even for kids! My daughter loved the grilled cheese and fruit plate. Overall: Snocone was nothing special. Wouldn't recommend for snocones. Came here to get snocone on a hot day. Walked in the shop and it is very cute. It was hot in there. I don't believe they had the ac running which is a big no in Texas during the summer. Upon ordering the attendant was not very friendly. The snocone was nothing special honestly. Just basic as any other. read more

I really enjoyed the outdoor seating more than anything else. I had the avocado toast and an açaí bowl. They were ok, a tad bit overpriced if you ask me. It was also pretty difficult to find parking. I did see that they offer discounts if your ride a bicycle there (neighboring businesses will not allow Bebidas parking). Order at counter and they will give you a number and bring your food to you. read more

Come here if you want to take an Instagram photo or get something with fruit probably. Do NOT come here for coffee, it all tastes like coffee flavored water. I got a drip and my sister got a vanilla latte and we had to dump both out because neither were even hot (more like lukewarm??) And both were gross and again, tasted like water with a hint of coffee flavor. How a latte comes out like that I will never know. Cute looking place but wont be back. read more

I just needed to brag. Today, after a long day, I stopped by to get a latte. I realized walking up to the door that they had closed a few minutes previously. As I'm getting into my car, an employee came out to ask if I knew what I wanted. A few minutes later, they brought a drink plus a smoothie bowl out to my car free of charge. These are the little things that are so touching. Please go support this sweet business. read more

I was really hoping that Bebidas would be good--it's a cute store in a great location, BUT... I stopped by on one of those rare frigid Houston days and ordered a hot chocolate: when I sipped it, it tasted like warm milk, so I opened the lid to take a look and was unsurprised to find that the white milk only had a hint of caramel color to it. I think they literally heated up a cup of milk and drizzled a bit of chocolate syrup in it. Kind of disappointing to pay $3.25 for a cup of warm milk that I could have heated up at home. read more

This place impressed me. I had a vanilla iced latte and not even exaggerating, it was one of the best iced lattes I've ever had. Parking is sparse, I ended up parking in the middle of the lot, because there was nowhere else to park lol. Inside is very cute, kind of small. There's lots of seating outside under the trees. Even though it's next to a busy street I found the location to be relaxing. The guy that took my order was very nice and helpful. I'm anxious to give their smoothies a try. The coffee had rich flavor and they didn't overdo it on the vanilla. If I lived near River Oaks I would probably be there everyday. Update: their acai bowl is so good! You can definitely tell they make it fresh after you order it and all the toppings were fresh. read more

Got early morning coffee with a friend and just randomly picked this place due to its proximity. Walking up to the shop, I had high hopes it would produce a good black coffee. They have a very big outdoor seating area with plenty of room for little ones to run around in. The theme of the place is very "Marfa" and was a great atmosphere. The staff was super friendly too! I ordered a plain black coffee which was a tad more expensive than other places around Houston ($3 for a 16 oz) but they have free refills! They also had light roast options (which isn't the case anywhere). What won me over was that they featured a Texas Pecan Porter (my actual favorite). My friend ordered a house made juice, iced coffee, and two breakfast tacos. His came out really fast within 6 mins and his tacos looked delicious (aka smothered in cheese). We hung out here for 2 hours and had a great time. read more

Honestly a little confused why this place has 1-2 star reviews. I love the Austin ambience this place gives off! The building itself looks tiny but with its ceiling to floor glass windows, it feels spacious. And also the outdoor area is huge, and dog friendly. I came solely for a smoothie after my run. Juices and smoothies are $8 each. For those complaining about the price, that's typically a price for these type of things! I ordered "The Nino" and it was 5/5, definitely recommend! The peanut butter makes the smoothie extremely creamy but isn't over powering. I loved that you can substitute for almond or soy milk at no extra charge. I went around 3:30pm on a Wednesday and had no wait at all. read more

Y'ALL. This place is 10/10. First thing I noticed was how kind the baristas are. Everyone was patient and walked through the menu with us. They specialize in goat milk and know how to use it. I had just come from a work out so he asked if I was looking for lower calorie options. WIN! The vibes of the place are chill and cool. The inside is small but the patio is what you come here for anyway. The trees provide a shade outside and it's just a very relaxing atmosphere. We ordered chips and guacamole because I'm a creature of habit and it was some of the best Guac I have ever had! The chips were delicious too. I can't say enough good things about this place. This is a cute little coffee shop with decent food/snack options, which is a plus if you're a parent of a young child who is always hungry. With a fast-casual style, you can walk in, order, find a seat and relax while you wait for your food and drinks to be delivered. The person taking the orders was nice, but a little confused as to what's on the menu- I had to explain and point to what was written on the menu because he seemed to think I was ordering something that they didn't offer. Not a huge deal, but it did make me nervous since their menu is very small.. I would have thought the employees were aware of everything they offer. Like I said, once I showed the menu to him and pointed to what I was ordering it went fine. The inside seating area is pretty small, but they have a large, beautifully shaded patio that I'm sure is lovely to sit on during nice weather days. Unfortunately we came on one of Houston's cold days, and we were lucky enough to snag two inside tables and push them together for our party of 3 + a baby. Thankfully they do have high chairs, so my 16-month old had her own seat while I was able to drink my coffee and chat with my friends. Coffee and foods were good. Sugar and other coffee additives aren't on the individual tables, there's one main spot that has all the goods you need to customize your coffee. I ordered the guacamole and chicken salad, both of which were very tasty and my daughter loved. The biggest downside to me, and why I won't be back if I have a toddler with me, is that they don't have a changing table in the bathroom. We ran into a situation where a diaper change was necessary before trekking home, and to my disappointment there wasn't anywhere easy to change her. My options were on the bathroom floor, on the table, or take her out to my cars backseat- none of which are ideal when trying to change an active toddler! If you're looking for a place to meet your friends for a cuppa or snack on a gorgeous day, then Bebidos might be the place you should go. However, a small indoor seating area and lack of changing table for small children make me say this isn't a place you should come if the weather isn't patio weather, or if you have a small child in your party. read more

This place has the WORST customer service I have ever experienced!! I work out at the gym down the street and have tried walking over many mornings to grab a cup of coffee. The workers taking orders never have a smile, don't seem to care about you or your order and seem mute. I am shocked that this place is still in business! Basically if u want to start off your day on the wrong foot with a C- coffee and unfriendly people- this is your spot! The one bright light in this place is the manager! The first things you notice are the floor to ceiling windows as you approach the entrance. As you get closer you see people outside enjoying their smoothies, freshly squeezed juices and desserts. Outdoor seating is in a spacious garden. I noticed this spot attracts many locals, fitness minded folks, people with dogs, families enjoying the ambiance and the juice and smoothie menu. They have a nice selection of juices. They've been here since 12/05/2016 they told me. It's a nice place to sit back and take it easy for a bit. The best thing about this place is the decor. It's so cute. Great for taking pictures if you are a blogger/vlogger. I came here while visiting my friends in Houston, it was our first stop after my three hour flight and boy did it leave something to be desired. I had a (SMALL) avocado toast, chia seed pudding and a green juice which came out to $26. Everything was pretty flavorless and obviously overpriced. I feel like I could have made everything at home. My friend had the chicken salad sandwich which I tasted and liked but it was more of a slider size. Bottom line: this place is best for coffee and juice, if you're hungry, go somewhere else. read more

The employees here are super nice and will take the time to help you out if you aren't sure what to order. If you're looking for health conscious in Houston, set against an adorable background you've come to the right place. Tofu, kale, goat's milk popsicles and fancy juices adorn the menu. The one thing about eating like this is that's it's gonna cost you a bit. However the portions are really nice and the food is yummy! I would totally recommend the chicken salad either on the brown rice bowl or the kale salad. I also had the Aqua Fresca juice which was heavenly! Just the right amount of sweet. The drip coffee was warm at best (got cold very quickly), the chocolate croissant from kraftsmen bakery was a bit stale and tough, the service was forgetful (they forgot to clean my dirty table after I made a request and stood around for almost ten minutes). That said I feel like I want to give them another chance because the location is charming and maybe they make a good cappuccino. We'll find out. Update: I went back for breakfast to give this cute little place a second chance. That was a mistake. I was with a friend, and between us we had ordered four items -- three drinks and a reheated, rather mediocre breakfast taco. They brought each item out one at a time over a 20 minute period (the food came last but took 30 seconds to microwave). Pretty inefficient and awkward. The cappuccino had a very bitter, burnt flavor instead of the nice smooth cappuccino you get almost anywhere else in town. This little spot must be open because there's nothing like it serving this edge of upper Kirby /River Oaks. But I have no reason to return. read more

This place is super cute and a definite must if you are looking for an Instagram worthy photo. As my second time coming I hoped the prices had changed however, the prices were still fairly steep for just a juice or smoothie. At $8 a pop the smoothies are rather small for the price paid. I enjoyed the "La Playa" smoothie as it was well blended and consisted of a mixture of dates, coconut milk, lime, mint, pineapple, and mango. This mixture was delicious and very refreshing on a hot summer day. The chocolate croissant I had was extremely dense, nothing special and lacked a lot of chocolate. The service at this place is also rather slow. When I entered as the only customer who had ordered anything, I expected the smoothie, croissant, and latte to be out right away. Unfortunately it was around a 10 minute wait which confused me as it didn't seem like anyone else had ordered anything. All in all for a chocolate croissant, latte, and smoothie I ended up paying about $17. Although the smoothie and latte were both very good, the high prices and slow service make this review lower than the quality of the products- 4 stars. read more
