I find myself going to Bebidas more often for a quick bite on the weekends. I enjoy their smoothies and a lot of their menu items. Tacos are great, both breakfast and lunch. I also like their salads, specially the avocado and toasted corn. It really reminds me of Austin and I love all the outdoor seating. They sell ice cones, but only for part of the year. They told me today they are not selling them anymore, so it's more of a summer thing. Service is friendly and food is good, so I definitely recommend them. Enjoy! read more

This place is so cute! They have a huge outdoor patio area that's perfect for a nice day. I wanted to study here but had seen the mixed reviews and was tentative. However, I thought it was a phenomenal place to study or work (at least on a weekday, maybe weekends are busier). But there were plenty of tables, the wifi was great, and I didn't feel like I was in the way at all. There were a couple of casual business meetings happening around me too. The food was also delicious and they had a decent variety. I just got the literal worst latte I've ever had. I've been here before and don't recall having subpar coffee, but now I guess I realize why I haven't been back. It should have been a red flag when the barista had to check to see if they had any house made almond milk left, and then tried to hide that she was sniffing it! It didn't dawn on me what was happening until after I had already checked out. House made almond milk can go sour very quickly, so that's what she was checking for because of how old it must have been. On a beautiful day in Houston, this is a nice place you can hang out and enjoy the day and watch the world go by. The outdoor patio has a huge tree in the middle of the courtyard and two-three seat dinette sets surrounding the perimeter. Lots of locals hanging out, parking their bikes in the courtyard and trying their best to social distance. Hubby and I got two nice hot chocolates, sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful Houston weather. Counter and wait staff very friendly and provided good service. It's one of the few RO or Greenway cafes that isn't planted in a concrete jungle. The coffee house itself is small, but the main attraction - at least for me - is the patio. The menu ranges from coffees and teas to juices and smoothies. House coffee is just $2.50. They have house made almond milk, for you coffee purists. Breakfast tacos are $3.25 and they only offer four tortillas. Can't believe I've never been here before! I got the brown rice bowl with chicken added to it, and it came out to ~$14.50. The portion size was big, and the food was delicious! I love the relax feel, I know this is a coffee place but I go back time and time again for this light refreshing Roasted corn salad. It's light but hearty and a good pick me up of energy food. The music can be a little loud so that may be why people said it's not the best for working, but I sat outside and was able to have multiple virtual meetings. Bebidas has quality smoothies and food, but most of it is too overpriced. The atmosphere is great, but the quality of the coffee and the overpriced food as mentioned above makes the experience difficult to justify. They also switched the standard size the smoothie, so that it's an 8oz rather than 12oz, without changing their price. So I paid $11 for their usual kids size smoothie without knowing I was getting a smaller size. Feeling disappointed, because it was one of my favorite places to go! The cashier was nice and very efficient. I ordered a chai latte and that was all, so it came out to around $5. Steep price, but its a local place so I don't mind supporting their business. What was pretty silly to me was that it took over 15min for the drink to come out with such a small crowd. I ordered an avocado toast, an acaii bowl, and an orange juice for $18 (a bit overpriced). I waited for 15 minutes before we received my acaii bowl. The worst part it that the young lady came and just threw the acaii bowl on our table without saying a word. The acaii bowl was served room temperature and bland. I got my avocado toast five minutes after my acaii bowl. The toast was nothing special, it had more sprouts than avocado. The tables are sticky. The inside is hot, I don't think their A/C was on.
