I'm honestly really sad to write this review because everyone here has always been very kind and friendly, which is why this visit was especially disappointing and unfortunately will be my last. I paid $85 for the Deluxe Mani/Pedi combo. The full service itself was completed, but when the polish was applied, the nails looked uneven and streaky. I originally asked for black toenails and nude nails. After I pointed out the issue, another color was tried, but it ended up looking almost white. At that point, I felt uncomfortable continuing to ask for corrections and finally just said it was fine and that I didn't need color. Most of the polish was removed, cuticle oil was applied, and I was checked out. With tip included, I spent $100 total and left without nails I can realistically wear to an important work meeting this week. I now have to pay again tonight to have them redone elsewhere. I truly don't like leaving negative reviews, especially because the staff has always been pleasant, but for the price paid, I expected a much better final result. read more

Why can't we have a good nail salon in South OC - one where there is gentle classical music, clean and well-maintained equipment and spaces, soothing soft colors on walls, no neon, nice smelling (no food smells) environment? Shouldn't we get a spa vibe for close to $100? And let's talk about the polish. Shouldn't the polish be the kind that comes from a reputable company like Opi or Essie? When you choose a color from those cards, they come out with a no-name bottle, and we wonder why the polish doesn't last longer than a day or two. Lastly, the skills. Shouldn't they know to push back the cuticles before applying ANY polish - even clear? I am so bummed that it has become next to impossible to get nails done well anymore. Great dip manicure! Spacious and clean shop in a small center with ample parking. I've never had an issue walking in for an appointment. Staff is all very friendly. They always offer me a drink when I sit down. Quiet salon with a great selection of dip colors. You even get a quick hand/arm massage once your nails are done. I was visiting in the area and needed my old acrylics removed really bad. I found this place on yelp due to the great reviews and I'm so glad I did! I called and made an appointment for the next day and the ladies were just the sweetest. They made great conversation and really made it an enjoyable experience for me. They are booking appointments only right now and I got mine at 10am. Came a bit early but was taken care of right away since there wasn't anyone. Was recommended for Tom to do a full acrylic set, I prefer powder (y'all I'm weird but I love the smell of the nail powder) and Tom worked on my hands. I asked for medium short, matte red and round square shaped. He definitely delivered my wants and needs. He paid attention to details and asked if the length he cut it was okay. You can't really get that kind of services now in days. They actually care about the quality and the services, I know the times are a bit tough right now but man, they go above and beyond. Even offer if I wanted a bottle of water. Like whatttt?? This was my "treat yo self" day and I'm glad I booked a appointment here. I have only been twice but both times were good experiences. I had an appointment each time and they were ready for me when I walked in. The salon was clean and the staff was super sweet and friendly. They did a good quality job on my mani and pedi. Both times I received a regular mani/pedi (not gel) and chose the package with paraffin wax, exfoliating scrub, 15 minute massage, and hot stone treatment. If you are limited on time you should choose a more basic package or ask for mani and pedi at same time - my 2 hours there was nice and relaxing to me but I don't always have that much time. One of the biggest pros for me is that my regular mani from there, both times, has lasted longer than any others I've ever gotten! The only critiques I could make would be 1)the vibe- it is very light and bright, which is definitely not a negative factor, but sometimes there was no music playing so it was also very, very quiet, which just seemed a little odd, or maybe just different to other places - together those two factors created a lack of ambiance. (This is just a matter of preference, so next time I will take my AirPods in for music.) 2)they seemed a little hurried on my last mani so the nail shaping was a little off but not enough that it was a big deal. I went in on a Sunday to get a gel nail fixed that was done on the previous Sunday at the same place. I was willing to pay to have it fixed. It completely chipped. The main lady told me that they didn't have time to do it and they were fully booked. There was only one customer there besides me. There were 2 people working. It would have taken them at the most 5 minutes to fix my nail. The lady was extremely rude to me. I will never go there again. If they can't stand by their work I will not be a customer. I actually went to a nail salon I have never been too and they fixed it for free and they had a ton of customers. I will be going to the new salon from now on. read more

SO INCREDIBLE! Terri gave me acrylics and I am SO SPECIFIC. I didn't want puffy nails, I didn't want wide nails, I care about the cuticle length, the nude tone, the amount of white for the ombré- they nailed it! Every single specification they met. Gracious, kind, accommodating, and always fit me in also this was my first time trying acrylics. I have been coming to this nail spa for three years and I highly recommend the spa and the services. Spa: is not located in a strip mall but more of a business plaza with ample parking (I only come on the weekend, so I'm not sure of the parking during the week). Cleanliness/Decor - the spa is light and bright and has massage/spa chairs for pedicures and a nice counter top height for other nail services with comfortable and height adjustable chairs. The spa is always very clean. The staff is very friendly, welcoming, and they never try to upsell me. I live near John Wayne Airport and choose to drive to this salon for the excellent service and consistency. read more

Maybe I was unlucky- this was my first time here- I asked for ombré colored full-set, specified that I prefer thin looking- coffin shaped- I was handed off to Tony, who had no idea what I was asking for- I should of left but I didn't. My nails were thick, lumpy, on my skin (I asked if I could file them off my skin myself because he had no intention of fixing them). It was not good. I used to go to this place long before Covid (under different ownership) and it was great. It was just a little more expensive than other places but good value for money. After the new ownership of covid, the prices have increased significantly compared to the same service at other salons. I had to look for alternatives to other places for a full manicure and pedicure. I had to write this review because I like this place but my nails looked terrible the last time I went there for an acrylic gel manicure and pedicure. My nails looked terrible. I had to go to one of the other places I found to fix it. For me, it was easy to get there but not good value for money anymore. If this was the first time I was unhappy with my nails I would give them another chance but this is the third time. I do not recommend going there. read more

I hate doing bad reviews, but people need to be warned. I scheduled 4 pedicures for me, my mom, and my two daughters. Upon arriving I was treated poorly and didn't even get my toes done because they refused to do my youngest daughters nails. Instead I sat in the car with my youngest while occasionally checking in on my mom and older daughter. Every time I came in to the salon to check, my youngest was visibly upset, but they acted as if we did not exist. I'm not sure why they didn't want two more customers when the salon only had only a couple people in the first place. This place is a hidden gem. It's not crowded like the other two nail salons I frequent. I think it's because they advertise appointments only and don't take walk-ins. But if you simply call to check availability, they most likely will have an opening. I called for myself and two daughters around 3:00 pm on a Friday. They took us right away! I was excited with the prospect of a new nail salon that was open on Sundays. My favorite salon, Ocean View Nails, did not re-open for Sunday business when they re-opened post-COVID. I visited BeBe twice, and each was fine; I didn't love that the polish options were selected off of a card, and not via a brand name bottle - but the chairs were new and everything looked clean and bright. My third visit, however, was unsettling. I was the only person in the entire salon, so it was surprising that the chair that they brought me too had visible skin shavings on the footrest and a goopy sticky gel on the adjoining table. It had clearly not been cleaned between uses, much less sanitized. As the only person in the salon, it was not that they were too busy between appointments, it was that their sanitizing protocols had lapsed and that is not a risk I am willing to take in the age of COVID and thereafter. While the team frantically and apologetically tried to clean-up, after I took out my own wipes and started cleaning the armrests, tables, the polish color card., my trust was lost, I was uncomfortable, and will not be returning. read more
