I am NOT receiving a "freebie" for this review nor had I ever heard of the place before yesterday. My 77 year old husband was out doing errands and I got the dreaded call: The truck won't start. Of course it's 96 degrees mid afternoon and he'd been out there for 2 hours already. I did what anyone else would do and called the first towing company listed (this is a hint), who was bordering on rude on the phone. Not even courteous while barking that it would be at least 2 hours... So I skimmed through the remaining ads and called beachside. What a Godsend!!! He went to him and discovered he was having a simple problem with the steering wheel, helped him and sent him home NO CHARGE! I cant tell you how great that was being elderly and living on SS. This company is absolutely unbelievable! Today, my co-worker locked his keys in his car after arriving at work. My first thought was Beachside Towing because they have helped me with various things on more than one occasion. I called them up and the owner, Ray, answered on the first few rings. I explained the situation and he told me that he could take care of it and would be there shortly. Less than 45 minutes later, he had arrived and had the vehicle unlocked. Not only is he always friendly and helpful, he is exactly the kind of person you want to show up at your most frustrating moment, calm and easy going. I can personally say that I will be using this company for all of my 'frustrating' moments in the future. My son's car broke down, we called another tow service (not sure of the name), told my son an hour, after an hour passed by I called the "tow company" he went into how his tow company feuding with another, I said never mind, and I called Ray at Beachside Towing! Ray was loading my sons car within 15 mins of my phone call to him. What service this man did! Ray was very professional, and super nice, what a great guy he is! Our family was enjoying the local sites and also taking a tour of the historic St Augustine area. When we were ready to leave we found a note on our truck. We had experienced a fluke flat tire, the valve stem actually split open and all our air escaped. I called Beachside Towing and Ray, the towing driver, said he could be onsite in 1 to 2 hours. I called him back after trying other towing companies. Ray actually put us 1st in line and towed our truck to a local tire repair shop. When he dropped us off, he didn't even charge. Cannot say enough good about my experience with this company. Not using a towing company on a regular basis thank goodness, was not sure who to call when my car broke down ,luck had it this is who we called. Not only was the driver there quickly he was courteous made sure I was taken care of before hooking the car up. He took us to the shop we requested quickly and absolutely no damage to our car. My car would not start when i stopped at Winn Dixie on my way to work. My boss Clay told me to call Beachside and The gentleman I called came right away. I thought maybe my gas gage was not working correctly and I may have been out of gas even though it said I had 24 miles to empty. He put gas in for me. John was awesome!!! He answered the phone on one ring when I called for help on Xmas Day night. Rescued our GMC Denali off of St. Augustine beach on Xmas Day night, when we got stuck in very soft sand. He communicated all the way until he arrived by text and he arrived very promptly and got the job done in record time. Highly recommend! Best experience I've had with a towing company! Answered right away and were there to help as soon as possible -- they'll be there for you day or night, even outside of town and in Flagler Estates. The driver was super friendly and made the ride to the mechanic comfortable. Needing a tow is never an ideal situation, but Beachside Towing definitely made it better. read more

Prompt, friendly service. They seem to have high standards and care about their work. I got my sedan stuck in a place where Hurricane Matthew had dumped a bunch of soft sand. A ram truck also got stuck trying to pull me out. Called two other towing companies but they didn't have 4 wheel drive. Beachside did and came right away. Highly recommend. read more

Our car broke down on 207.... Ray arrived promptly and towed it back to our home in Saint Augustine Beach. 2 weeks later we needed the car moved in the yard Due to construction on our home.
