This is me and my aunt at the pool

I come here every year with my and aunt and uncle I love it here it is so much fun there is so much to do the workers are nice and kind. I will Always recommend to other people also they always have a lot of activities to do at any time. I fell very safe here and I love it and you can make a lot of friends here and also have so much fun with them and you can win prizes and you can take golf cart rides go to the lake go to the pools and at the end of my site there is a pond and you can feed the fish and turtles also you can go in the back and you can like at the teepees and at night you can go looking around the pond for a lot of cool insects like frogs. And at the lake there is sand and fish very little is a playground that I grew up in and there is a food court thing next to it and they have the best food.

Typical full hookup campsite

My wife and I stayed at Beachcomber Camping Resort for a week. We had a great time. We arrived after the office had closed due to traffic delays on our trip. It was not an issue. The office staff called before they closed to inquire about our ETA. They had a check in packet set outside the office for us. We talked to a security guard at the gate who gave us directions to our site. While the roads are not wide, there was plenty of room to negotiate the turns. Our motorhome is just over 30 feet long. I backed into our site without any problem. There's a long concrete pad for a patio. The campsites are well maintained and large enough to park our suv that we tow behind our rig. The rules that Beachcomber have help to provide a relaxing camping experience for all.

Where all the pools open when you went?

They are now

Wait. They charge you to take a shower? when did this happen? Was concidering camping again after a very long time of not camping, only to see someone say they charge for showers. Do they charge for bathroom use as well?

They don't charge to use the bathrooms, sinks, vanity and so on. just a few quarters for showers. They are really nice. very large with dry enclosed dressing and sitting area

Upon reaching out to Seashore they dismissed me and told me in so many words "Oh well." They told me a bed bug investigation was done on 10/15 and no bed bugs were seen. After some of our own research and a call to the health department. It was discovered that on 10/15 a bed bug investigation was done by a Western sales representative, not a technician. The sales representative, unqualified, found no bed bugs on 10/15. On 10/29 an email was sent to the CMC Health Department by us; to try and get to the bottom of the situation. On 10/30, a visit from a qualified Western technician and the health department, bed bugs were found. As more information was uncovered it was found that the Western visit on 10/15 was prompted after a woman left and reported bed bug bites as well. Seashore Campground has done nothing to even try and attempt to rectify this situation. They have tried to cover this situation up with lies and avoidance. No one will return our phone calls or emails. We are now concerned the bugs have been brought into our personal home and will be facing a hefty extermination bill if this is the case. This is both negligence on Seashore and Western. Be careful before you book your stay. They aren't taking preventative measures against bed bugs. Only "dealing" with problems as they arise -- and half ass*d at that. The managers are rude and dismissive. They told me they handled this situation with the "Golden Rule" in mind -- treating others as you would like to be treated. I am not sure if constant scratching and bug bites on your face, arms and legs is in the top ten choices of how a person would like to be treated -- but if they had proper hospitality training they would have learned this in their first lesson. Shame on your Sun Outdoors, and honestly Western too. Do better. Cape May County is a small town -- what goes around comes around.

The campground has soft gravel for dogs. It is beautiful and large. It has a place for fishing. It can fun for golf carts and bike riding. There isn't many bugs here either. If you lucky enough to stay out of his way the place can be nice and the office staff in particular are quite friendly and helpful. If however you have an issue come up and Tod gets involved you'd in for a bad day. we will improve restriction on what HE will and will not allow you to do. Going as far as to chain my golf cart to a tree because he had a complaint of bad driving (no accidents, drinking etc nor anything he saw first hand just something he "heard"). Playground is nice and cute as is the activity center but I feel it's under utilized and wish they did more activities there. Lake Laurie is nice and there's even a cute little golf cart trail around it. Tod will however come after you is he discovers you drove down the wrong path but it's otherwise a nice little path. I with the beach were better maintained though. Despite being very strict in some areas they don't do anything about smokers on the beach which is pretty annoying especially as my kids are digging up trash and cigarette butts etc. It would be nice if the sand was raked clean and ideally have more sand brought in since dirt is starting to get mixed in with the existing sand down closer to the water. If they could get rid of Tod and get some better more acomidating management in here and exercise a little more care this could become really nice unfortunately it seams they like Tod and will let him continue to ruin the place for now. You're better off finding a nicer campground in the area there are plenty.

Although we left a day early on Friday August 9th 2024, because of the hurricane remnants that may cause a rainstorm. Anyways, the bathrooms by the pool were clean. The pool was also very nice as we went to it twice this vacation. Although it was a little green, not completely, but more like light aqua green. Maybe they need chemical or something?Very nice though. This trip, we also went to the lake, and it is very much improved. There are lounge chairs, sand was clean, and it seemed alot better than the prior times that i have been here. They also have activities on the weekend including friday- like a magic show, a food truck, and art activities. Glad to see this campground improve. We stay here because it is an easy 5-10 minute ride to wildwood, and the surrounding cape may area, and we fit as we have a big long 5th wheel. Wifi was easy to connect to, However had trouble connecting to the roku tv, and sometimes the wifi would go in and out, thus making the tv freeze, and the channels freeze- (both via cable channels and the roku channels) Although, was able to find the channels after the connection was lost. Anyways, overall enjoyed our stay here.

An extra car for four days was $40 with no overflow parking. We were told we could take it a few miles away to tractor supply and leave it there but we where uncomfortable doing that so I paid the $40. . On check out day, a Monday, We asked to stay two hours late and were charged $30. The place also has a skunk population. Three by our campfire every night. When maintenance came around they told us they have set traps but there is a big population and they can't keep on top of it. Maybe they should call an exterminator since people are paying top dollar to stay here and would like to enjoy the campfire at night and eating at their site.

Horrible experience and we would not return…read more We booked two days in the middle of May for a little getaway. On the website it said that each tent had a king bed. There was absolutely no king bed. The bed frames are extremely loud and if you move your leg an inch, you're waking up the entire tent. The half bathroom is nice but there is no door, only a half size curtain. So everyone can smell and hear your business. The tents are directly next to a really busy road. Even at 2AM there were guys with shortpiped civics and trucks using their engine brakes for funsies. There's also a really loud purge tornado siren that goes off every once in a while, and there's also an airport right next door so you can enjoy the sweet sounds of an airplane directly into your ear drums at 3AM. Mind you, the tent has no walls. So it's a full 3D experience. So don't plan on actually sleeping, we didn't. Everything else was meh, but none of this was ever mentioned on their website or literally anywhere else, so we had no clue. I wouldn't recommend it, like at all. It's probably quieter in a Wawa parking lot if you want to try your luck.
