Welcome to the Jersey Shore Vacation Grifter's Club, Blue Palms. Go ahead. You've earned it. We had been coming for years, but this place has slipped into the typical vacation grift destination and is to be avoided. This property is right at the boardwalk and right at the main amusement pier. For which you need "tickets." The Blue Palms has a "funclusive" deal where if you stay there, they give you some 'free' tickets. Isn't that great? The deal with the tickets is the *main* reason we'd stay here. The location is also great. But you DO NOT GET THAT 'FREE' TICKET DEAL IF YOU BOOK THROUGH EXPEDIA. Instead, they'll tell you to CANCEL Expedia and re-book through them. Even at the front desk - as we checked in - they advised us to do that! (Never mind the Expedia policy for cancellation indicated 27 April was my latest opportunity). The manager went into some detail that, had I listened *carefully* to the information message (which I did), I would _know_ that I would NOT have the ticket benefit unless I canceled Expedia and instead booked directly. It's enough to make a cat laugh. That's slimy, low, cheapskate grifter behavior. To save themselves, what, $10? Maybe? They rip off Expedia, rip *me* off, rip off my rewards, etc. Why not put it in your advertisements? Setting their mountebank behavior to one side, let's discuss the stuff that ruins trips in the immediate sense, not just the "I feel like I've been robbed!" sense: * No control for room temperature. There's a fan (1,2,3) control, but no thermostat. Hope the temp suits you! * Used to have free bikes for guests! Sure they were rough, but at least they had them, a nice convenience. GONE NOW. OK, I get it. Times change and prices rise, so they put in a rental bike system. BUT THEY HAD ZERO BIKES. It's not like they're all rented out; they're just not there. * Good Luck if you have to park in the section of the lot nearest those for-pay bike racks that don't actually have any bikes. Its preposterously tight dimensions are a hazard to driver, car, pedestrian, and stroller alike. * See photo. Dirty sheets :( ... to be fair, I'm not sure I cared that much. But after all their charlatan behavior, I am duty-bound to include a photo of the vague-ishly dirty top sheet. **** An outfit like Morey's should be better than this. **** P.S. A slight tangent, to be sure: You can hear the Honky Tonk bar from the hotel. This may or may not be pleasant according to your tastes. But I can tell you this: If you can hear the Honky Tonk from the Blue Palms, the Honky Tonk will be *painfully* loud inside. (Yes, I am an expert. Feel free to inquire within). *** PROS *** : 1. We have come to this hotel for years but the experience has been soured. The deal with the tickets is the only reason we stayed. The room has mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. our fridge smelled like something died in it and while they tried to fix that it was still disgusting. We had no towels after getting cleaned and they had to come in for proof that we didn't have any... basically made us feel like liars. This is after I had to go to the desk a few times to ask for more towels. I assume people must steal them but that is not my problem as a full paying guest. The beds had sand in them upon arrival which means they didn't clean the room appropriately to begin with. Disappointing. You expect more for moreys. Book through the motel directly. Blue Palms is a fabulous place. Conveniently located at the middle of the boardwalk, everything is right there! Recently visited for a 4 night stay, and everything was top-notch. This was our third or fourth visit to the Blue Palms, and the cleanliness of the facilities, along with the friendly hospitality of the staff, are just as I remembered. The proximity to the piers and the amenities offered really make this resort a top choice among Wildwood locations. Wanted to add that on this visit, my daughter accidentally left something important behind in the room, and the staff contacted me immediately once housekeeping brought this to management's attention. They were so helpful in visiting the local P.O. to ensure that my daughter received her item within a day. The staff truly go above and beyond in all ways to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible! read more

We came here for my sons birthday and unfortunately this hotel is a disappointment. First three out of the four blankets were dirty - one had pubic hairs in it the other two black marks and crusty white stuff on them. Also there is mold on the ceiling of the bunk room that has been painted over. The bathroom needs a remodel bad. The toilet has wear and discoloration the sink has a crack and the shower has no water pressure and mildew. I tried to find another hotel to relocate to but everything decent was sold out. For the amount I paid to stay here I deserved better. read more

My family and I booked two rooms at this hotel for three days two nights. The rooms were seemingly clean. However, the floors were filthy. I've enclosed a picture of my 1 year olds socks (BTW they were brand new socks). I notified the front desk who stated they would have someone get back to me. The manager came to the room the following day to try to rectify the problem by mopping the floor. It makes one wonder if they even do a thorough cleaning to begin with. This was during COVID. Our family of 4 stayed at the Blue Palms this past week from aug 31st to sept 4th. Iam writing my review here now because booking dot com edited and cut my review without my permissions so do not believe their reviews! had I known the truth I would not have booked our vacation there! Starting off Blue Palms could have given families with kids the courtesy of breakfast by having wrapped bagels & muffins behind a glass case & still stayed compliant for covid. But they dont.So dont expect anything like that!. The Blue Palms states in their website they are taking extra steps to disinfect everything during these times with covid. Well it certainly didnt look and feel like they even do basic cleaning! And that made us feel leery about our health while we were there. So I was wiping things down with alcohol. Our stay was very disappointing for many reasons. First night there was a huge 5 inch stain on the queen bed blanket. Yes they changed it but it was off putting.There wasnt a safe in the room, no hook to hang anything in the main room, no mirror in the main room, no hot plate or heating element, the floors were not clean & made our feet black, no paper strip across the toilet to show it was sanitized, hair on the bathroom floor, and the tub was broken & wouldn't drain so we could not take showers going on day 3! The bed sheets were flat, not elasticized and too short to stay on the beds.The kids bunks were still very sandy. So not one of us had a good nights sleep! The small fridge was working irregular and building up ice. They brought the safe but mounted it on the shelf of the night stand which anyone could remove from the room in its entirety with the safe in it., so we couldnt use it. I mean how stupid is that??? Almost every time we asked for clean towels we were told they ran out,, and didnt get them replaced (outside our door) until hours later. when I went down to say the tub was broken and could not drain (drain mechanism was broken) so we couldnt take showers, and that there was issue after issue we had to deal with losing time from our vacation to wait for each issue to be resolved, the man who was the night staff got nasty, yelled at me! and blamed us for the issues because we didnt mention them the first few hours we checked in! Well not only were all these things not immediately evident for us to mention,, but it is the hotels job to inspect each room & make sure it is in order before its rented!!!!!And how dare you yell at me for coming to you about it?!!I was polite!!!! And you were unprofessional & abusive!! I was tired and went back to our room to tell my husband they couldnt do anything about it until maintenance would get to it. My husband went down and the man suddenly changed his attitude. See the double standard?? ?? And this made me very upset too!! The day managers were very pleasant, professional and polite and tried to make it better, but the damage & stress was already done . We do not play miniature golf and passed on the tickets to another family. Next time Ill stick with ABnB! I do not recommend The Blue Palms resort! . Absolutely loved our stay here! While I wish I had been there a little earlier (we came right after a lot of places in town were closed for the season), there was still a lot to enjoy, plus we got to enjoy it sans tons of people. The rental bikes were fabulous - definitely a highlight of the stay. Loved the retro feel, but with new bedding/pictures, etc. The front staff was incredible and overall, a really fun place and location! read more

okay so I found this last minute and I got a deal. First impression my room smelled a little musty, which can be expected given the close proximity to ocean and boardwalk. We are in the boardwalk bungalow room facing the boardwalk. the musty smell is not a big deal I was happy w the deal I got. I work in hospitality and specifically I used to work in the linen business so I know what to look for. The rooms were very clean they use triple sheeting & new bedding. The bed was very comfortable, the pillows we're comfortable, the rooms are clean, the pool was clean, they offer coffee all day long, the location is perfect, and the staff has been super friendly. We came here because of the great reviews they had on booking.com and I'm thinking the employees wrote the reviews because the reviews were dead wrong. I usually take pictures but of course forgot. We stayed in the beachside bungalow and our first room had a filthy bathroom even after cleaning it myself I just couldn't bear it. They state on the website they are taking extra cleaning precautions due to COVID but this made me think otherwise. There was hair in the tub toilet and floor and the managers excuse was that he is short staffed and has 16 year old that have never done the job cleaning the rooms which made me feel even worse about staying here. He moved our room but made it seem like we had to pay just to be moved the way he worded it which wasn't true only if we wanted a larger room which was not offered to us unless we paid more. We moved to a room next door and it was too late to switch rooms because we were only there for another day but the bathroom door had boogers on it and the shower just felt gross being in it we ended up showering at a friends hotel instead. The grill was down on the sidewalk and not in a "grill area" like they describe online. I know it's a beach hotel but it wasn't the quietest and they could use some black out curtains they have cheap shades on the windows that have gaps in them and should be replaced by curtains. I couldn't go back to sleep once I woke up because of the sunlights. My br went and told them and we were offered another room but only at an extra charge which to me is bs since their staff can't properly clean. I brought my own cleaning supplies thank god but the bed had dust on the headboard and the toilet seat was cleaner after I wiped it before that it had looked either dusty or dirty. The only reason I give 2 stars is because it is right by the beach and boardwalk and the front desk worker was very kind, but we won't be returning to this hotel or recommending it to anybody. We left at the perfect time because the power had went out and they seemed confused about it when we mentioned it when we were leaving. Me and my hubby loves this hotel and sworn coming back next year for a whole week. The waitstaff in the check in area were totally sweet especially the lady who were around the front desk around 12pm. It is one block away from Splash Zone and the Boardwalk. Probably 2 blocks away from one of Morey's Piers amusement parks. The fire pit is definitely a eye catching sight but we didn't get to enjoy due to the hour we get back into our room but did see rainbow after a thunderstorm. read more

First time staying here. Blue Palms is owned by Morey's piers. They offer a "stay and play" package for the waterpark/rides that is a great bargain. The rooms have been done over and have nice new wood floors and new furniture. Everything was clean. Our room had two separate rooms, each with a queen size bed. The bathroom was tiny. I really don't spend much time in the room other than sleep and shower.....this room was good enough for that. The bathroom/changing room by the pool was a little bit nasty. NEVER AGAIN! THEY JUST LOST A REPEAT CUSTOMER OF 14 YEARS! THEY JUST DON'T CARE! STAY AWAY!!!! _______________________________________________________________________________ The following review is from a repeat customer of the Blue Palms since 2007: Well, it's official folks! The Moreys got too big for their britches! In February 2020, my wife and I had booked our traditional 3-night stay for the last week of June. Of course, nobody anticipated the pandemic. The Blue Palms offered to roll over our 2020 reservation to June 2021. They did not require a deposit- but rather a $49.95 "holding fee." Fast-forward to April 2021..... We were contacted by the Blue Palms staff about the "new" reservation. Ultimately, we decided to cancel...and they lost a loyal customer since 2007 over a lousy holding fee! I asked to have the "holding fee" returned along with our cancellation. Instead, the booking manager immediately got "on the defense" about their policy. First, I was expressly told that I had agreed for them to hold this fee regardless of cancellation. I contested that was not true and pointed out that I am a returning customer since 2007 (i.e. "can you work with us, here?") I was then told that they were open last season at 80% capacity and that the carryover to this year was offered as a "courtesy." The booking representative needed an answer today so the room can be put up again for the season (presumably at 100% capacity). I made the "mistake" of inquiring about the current COVID procedures for the motel and for the piers. The agent's tone immediately changed and grew more and more snippy, implying the following: "If you don't like it, don't come. There are others waiting to take your place....". The bottom line to the folks at Blue Palms: If $50 means that much to you, keep it. You've just lost a faithful customer of 14 years over it! Rule #1 of any business: THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. THE BUCK STOPS AT THE CUSTOMER!!! I don't need to be told / berated / lectured to (in so many words) that I am replaceable- only to have them keep a portion of my money anyway! It's not the amount of money that's upsetting, it's the ATTITUDE! Unfortunately, it seems that this disturbing, arrogant attitude in Wildwood is quite prevalent in other businesses as well (i.e. restaurants). It goes something like this: "We'll entice you with COVID- friendly precautions, signs, and literature. On paper, we'll make every effort to help you feel safe and confident in making your reservation- having an expectation that certain social distancing, masking, and sanitizing protocols will be followed. In reality, the hard truth is that we're OPEN....Really OPEN....Like 100% OPEN! If you don't like it, don't come and maybe you don't belong here! Oh, and we have your money anyway. You're replaceable, you know!" This is not the Wildwood that I know and love! Sad....just plain SAD! read more

So, on Monday the 8th we woke up on from our 1st night here not having had the best of sleep. The couple literally next to us, woke us up at 4am with their obnoxious sexual behavior. Fortunately, Nikki, the front desk person, was willing to move our room for the inconvenience. We decided to keep the room due to the couple checking out that day. We returned to the front desk a while later to inquire about the heated pool and even more fortunate for us, the owner was there. He and I had emailed weeks prior getting my reservation in and he was kind, efficient and prompt. It was nice to see him in person. He helped us with our situation by moving us over to the "sister" hotel, The Starlux Hotel. A few blocks down and the heated pool there was more to our liking for this time of weather. Plus, there was a jacuzzi! The pool was 86 degrees and the jacuzzi at 104. Our 2 year old had a blast in this pool and did not want to leave. AC was strong; humidity every day, therefore, A refreshing arrival back to an air conditioned room. Pool was great temperature. Sofa bed was clean and comfortable. This place was great!!! Free bikes, beach chairs and beach toys to borrow. Very modern with nice shore decor. Updated flat screen tv's. We had our do not disturb sign out and the housekeepers left a bag of towels and soaps on our chair outside. My only complaint is the inability to adjust the a/c unit other then the fan speed. I like my room cold and there were times it wasn't as cold as I would prefer. Otherwise, great location to many attractions. read more

Attention all Yelp users: You may hereby IGNORE any pre-2012 review. I understand how a Wildwood hotel could get bad reviews... they have a reputation for being old and nasty. But the Blue Palm has been completely renovated from head to toe for 2012. In fact, they were putting the finishing touches on the place while we stayed. The new rooms: Absolutely adorable. Wood floors, cute new furniture, nice blinds, a fairly comfortable bed as far as hotels go. The manager was nice enough to upgrade us to an efficiency, which was a wonderful surprise! Yay mini-fridge and microwave! Amenities are what you'd expect. A nice little pool, three propane grills, patio furniture, a walk to the boardwalk, nice staff. It's just too bad that central Wildwood itself is deteriorating a little bit. I guess the Blue Palm can't do anything about this undeniable reality, but we might want to stay in the Crest next time nonetheless. I wish they could put this place on wheels and move it 50 blocks south! read more

Hmm... The other guy is right. Although I kinda liked the hotel for other reasons, the service was pretty bad, and you did hear loud music all the time. Hotels are supposed to supply you with ironing boards for wrinkled clothes, change your sheets every night, and efficiently give you enough towels to last throughout the day. It did feel more like a motel. It all depends on your taste though. One thing I loved about the motel was that there was a pool right outside that i could hop in. I loved the grills outside. other families would cook on the grills, and everyday there was like a barbecue. I made good friends. Plus, I'm a really "In the mix" kinda guy. I would choose Blue Palms over Starlux any day, because the hotel was right across the street from the Beach, the boardwalk, and the Massage parlor, which was absolutely amazing. I mean C'mon!!! Seriously? Right across the street from the boardwalk? And right around the corner from my main guy dave, who gives out (hands down) the best Henna tatoos ever?? Please... The beach was right there! I spent absolutely no time at the hotel at all, because the hotel was the epicenter of everything cool... And now the hotels are $100 a night, and $125 with a kitchen. I loved it.. Best vacation ever.. if you go there expecting tranquil peace and quiet, you went to the wrong hotel. You gotta endeavor fun to go there.... read more

It's a budget motel. You pay for what you get. The wife and I decided to hit a place we hadn't been since little kids, and made last minute reservations. The good: It's a cheap option 2 blocks from the Boardwalk right near the largest of Morey's Piers. There's a bit of food in the morning. I seriously was digging on the late 50's/early 60's decor motif. Very charming. The bad: The rooms are small and in need of renovating. Staying on the first floor is problematic because of the noise from the pool. The free internet is worthless unless your room is near the office - otherwise, you've got to take your laptop to the patio or lobby. The curtains do not cover everything, especially the top part of the windows where light POURS through, making sleeping in darkness a bit difficult. There's some real *simple* solutions to a lot of their problems: cover the the top parts of the windows with curtains, buy a signal booster for the Wi-Fi (it's password protected) and do some basic spackling & painting on the rooms. I think next time I'm in Wildwood, I'm going to try another place, but if they fix the problems they had, I'll go back. POST SCRIPT: The manager e-mailed me asking my opinion and I sent him to my review. He responded with some genuine thanks for the suggestions and he'll be looking into fully covering the windows and the other improvements I mentioned. I'm planning to check back with them next time we go. I'd say this upgrades them to 2.5 stars in my book for the extra followup. read more

1st time staying here since the 2012 renovation. They did a great job. It's clean, it's loaded with amenities, it's priced to fill vacancies, and the employees are nice and professional (tip your maid!). My only complaint is the heated pool was overheated for the heat of summer and maybe over-chlorinated, but it's probably not a regular problem b/c it never used to be. By the way, I am the unoffical Blue Palms Resort pool cannonball champion. If you want a shot at the title you're gonna have to earn it. Staff will let you know if you qualify. read more

Check-in isn't until 3:00pm (bummer!). We got a 2 room suite, a very good choice! Front room has a pull-out couch & TV (the couch itself was pretty uncomfortable to sit on, though). Kitchen area has a BIG refrigerator/freezer, microwave & toaster. Bathroom was nice but kinda small. NOTE: we saw some mold & mildew on the bottom of the shower curtain, so check out your bathroom! Bedroom was nice, very comfortable bed & nice TV. Separate AC unit for the bedroom & front room. The hotel is half a block from the Boardwalk, & you're about smack dab in the middle of the Boardwalk. Plenty o' places to get your tacky t-shirts & fried whatever...... The pool was nice, but when we stayed it was totally over run with families. They have three very large gas grills to cook your meals, they got quite a work out! "Breakfast" every morning was a box of mini danish by the front desk...c'mon guys, for what you charge for rooms, can't you do a little better than that?! Overall we enjoyed our stay. While the hotel was packed with families, the noise died down early. There's a Rite Aid a couple of blocks away, & the Jersey Girl Bar & Grill is right next door, MAKE SURE YOU GO THERE!!! Beware, though: just a few blocks away are some VERY scary neighborhoods, so proceed with caution. read more

The blue palms is receiving two stars simply due to their location and their discount morey piers tickets. We arrived to NO Parking spaces - had to pull into the Jersey Girl diner and sit in the car while my boyfriend checked-in. We received room #125 and told to park by White Star Hotel which is a part of blue palms. Apparently Blue Palms is the main lodging and white star is where they shove people (who booked by expedia??) into DISGUSTING rooms. We walk to our room to find our door open. I immediatly think we should get another room. We walk in and the mildew smell is intense but not as intense as the awful air freshner they have hanging from the back of the door to kill the stench. Upon tryin to CLOSE the door, as most people do when they arrive, we see the door does NOT close and is broken. My boyfriend goes up to the front desk and explains what happened and the lady at the desk tells him to go back to the room and she will send someone immediatly to fix the problem. NO i dont want you to fix my broken door, i want a new room. To me that wouldve made the most sense. Ten minutes later, nobody has arrived. We just did a 3+ hour drive and still cant relax. SO my bf goes back to the front desk and is now a little more aggresive explaining how we havent even had a chance to relax yet and this is not how a vacation should be started. The person at the desk is the manager/owner and escorts him back to the room to "assess" the problem. He sees the doorknob is broken, turns to me and says "well at least we check you in a little early (it was 230, check in is 3), i will ge this fixed right away". SIR i do NOT need you to remind me that you checked me in a half hour earlier - does that have ANYTHING to do with the fact that the room you assigened me was left open for whoever to hang out in!?!?!? He gets a screwdriver from the maintenance worker, who was busy fixing ANOTHER door, and fixes the doorknob. Offers us really no apologies or anything at that. We start to relax and then hear what sounds like a jungle gym above us. Banging, things falling, it sounded like someone was being tossed around a room. I walked upstairs and saw it was a room just like ours (two double beds) with about 6 kids in it. Went back downstairs and my boyfriend and I tried to relax but the noise was insane. Now i understand it wasnt bedtime BUT the banging was just TOO much. Obviously the walls, ceilings, floors are thin with no insulation or sound proofing. Once again, my boyfriend goes back to the front desk and complains. A DIFFERENT manager shows up at our door ten minutes later (the noise had stopped bc they left) and he actually chased them down to tell them they need to not treat the room like a trampoline. He was very nice and we did not have the noise issue after that. There was a hole in the floor by the closet that was covered up by the rug. The rug was gross and i felt i needed to wear flip-flops at all times. There was no curtains to cover the windows ( i read in a review from 2010 that an owner responded back by saying they will get curtains) ..just the blinds that didnt close perfectly. There were two pools that we did NOT use bc they were filled with kids of all ages at all times. I was under the impression that one pool was for the kids and the other for adults but apparently i was the only one under that impression. I chose this hotel due to the proximity to the boardwalk...the boardwalk is HUGE and anywhere you stay will be "Close" to the boardwalk. They did offer discounts on tickets BUT im sure other hotels offer the same. I would stay elsewhere...and not because im a spoiled brat who is used to five-star hotels bc i NEVER waste money on "luxury accomadations"...i know all about budget hotels and this place and their service just didnt cut it for me read more

Clean, checked for bed bugs, cute room and awesome maid staff. Would be a 5 star rating if it weren't for the management. I stayed with 2 friends, and we are 22 and 23. The manager claimed their site says you need to be 25 to book. We saw no notification. Instead of holding a card on file, we were required to deposit $50 per person. The situation could have been handled better and the site should be clear about the booking age. I've stayed at other small hotels in Wildwood that kept a card on file but did not charge the actual charge. (7-10 business days to be refunded the deposit) The other hotels treated us a guests, not juveniles who were looking to cause an issue. read more

Stayed here for fathers day weekend and was more than pleased with my stay. Very clean room, mini fridge, microwave and colddd AC!! Parking right in front of our room, next to the pool. Two pools on the premises. Free continental breakfast was a plus and nice to get a quick bite. All ice machines worked, grills were available to cook outside, and boardwalk was across the street right in front of the main Pier. We stay here every year when we visit back east. You want to book in the main motel area as its renovated and clean looking. The bungalow is old and really needs a renovation. The motel has two pools one near the main area and one near the bungalow. Parking can be a bit of a hassle but every motel in Wildwood is like that. You want to get there early for checkout grab a spot and not move you car for the entire stay. However if you do there is an overflow parking lot that is directly across the street. Blue palms is also within walking distance to the center area of the boardwalk which is great and also walking distance to Jersey Girl which is a good restaurant. There is also a liquor store across the street attached to a bar and also a rite-aid within walking distance. They also provide a free continental breakfast and have many bbq grills to use along with free hourly bike rentals. You can also get a stay and play package for an additional charge which gives you unlimited access to the two moreys piers waterparks and all rides which is much cheaper than paying directly for them. They really are the best option in the Wildwood area. read more

Motel was very very clean! Staff was nice! Nice pool. Location excellent, in walking distance to the boardwalk. Coffee and breakfast was good. Only thing that I did not like, was the light outside the pool view room came through the blinds at night. read more

I stayed here in 2010 and it was misrable. Maybe I was on a mailing list and was made aware of there remodeling done in 2012 so I figured I would give it a try again this past summer and it was still misrable. Owned by moreys piers you think they would get it right but this hotel was lacking despite all the positive reviews they have. Yes they where a fraction better then they where in 2010 but I would never subject myself to a moreys owned hotel again. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the place was clean I searched it for roaches and bedbugs and it came up clean thankfully. This is unfortunately where the stars run out. I now see EXACTLY why they had to rip out the carpets. The Air conditioning in this hotel is pitiful.The system is a chilled water type system that you commonly find in hospitals and other large commercial buildings(I am a licenced hvac tech). Little if any moisture is removed from the air everything is cool but humid inside a blue palms room(In Simpler terms its not the air conditioning your used to at home and isnt going to feel good)This made for a misrable stay. At one point I discussed with my wife leaving the hotel and eating my 3 night deposit, Or running over to the wal mart and picking up a fan. To my luck I asked the front desk for a fan and they had one available and that is what I gave the two stars for the great staff. We also had issues with the bathroom having moisture damage and the very impractical placing of the toilet paper dispenser. Also Men listen to me carefully!!! if your a grown man your going to have a misrable time using the compact toilet so much so multiple times I used either the wawa or a boardwalk bathroom for more comfort if you catch my drift. I did tell some of these issue to the manager gordon who although friendly really didnt seem to concerned on what I was telling him and responded " Alot of hotels in wildwood use a chilled water air conditioning system" and I respond back none that I ever have been to in 24 years and besides I didnt stay at there hotel this trip I stayed at blue palms that was a pathetic response. We didnt get 189$ dollars worth out of that room thats for sure. They left off saying they hoped id stay with them at there other facility starlux but after this experience twice since 2010 id never stay at another morey owned hotel while im at wildwood.They run a great water park but cant figure out how to get a hotel experience correct. Try somewhere else is my honest opinion to you. Check out my pictures or the A/c and tiny moisture ruined bathroom, research that a/c As well as other hotels in the area. Very clean, basic accommodations. The air conditioner was freezing cold, especially for our little ones and there was no way to adjust the temp...just on or off. The staff is extremely friendly and the location is amazing. So close to boardwalk. The pool is larger than most other hotels in the area with a nice little kiddie pool attached. The breakfast is really slight by a nice gesture. If you have little ones, request a ground floor room. There is no elevator. read more

Extremely CLEAN, comfortable, and close to the boardwalk/Moreys pier. Newer and remodeled rooms. Hotels offers coffee/juice, bagels, and some pastries each morning. Children's pool off of the bigger pool-which was great for my 3 year old. Hotel provides beach chairs and bikes if you need. Towel service and trash emptied from room daily. Bathroom has mini shampoo, conditioner, & lotion of needed. Only complaint is Crappy wifi connection depending where you are in the building. This place was really cool and cheap considering close it is to the boardwalk you also can rent bikes from the hotel for free to ride around which is pretty cool. We had two issues here one was the air conditioning was shitty and no where near cold enough in our room. However they remedied this by giving us a fan to use to keep the room cooler which was awesome. Second we found blood on some of our clean sheets. It wasn't fresh so I am assuming it was the laundramts fault in not getting that out but the manager personally came up on made sure that they changed the sheets super quickly. You really can't ask for better service then that. I would absolutely stay here again and I would tell anyone else looking for a place to as well it wasn't the best but the service and their willingness to fix issues makes it pretty top notch. read more

I booked this hotel very last minute after finding out the weather was going to be hot and beautiful for Father's Day weekend. The staff greeted me with professionalism. Our room was very nice . I like the words "Wildwoods" spread across the living room wall. The kitchenette was cute. Everything was very clean. The pool was heated which was great since we checked in at 6pm. The hotel was conveniently located in front of Morey's Pier. Overall I was very impressed can't wait to come back. read more

Never stayed here before, I booked the room while driving on the turnpike on a friends recommendation. Room was $ 507 for 2 nights, it was a 1 room with 2 queen beds on Wednesday and Thursday near the end of July. I was not overwhelmed by the look of the place when i arrived. Tacky blue plastic palm trees and parking lot surrounding pool, but i immediately took note of its centralized location ( middle of boardwalk )and its just across the street from beach and boardwalk. I normally cringe at the cleanliness of jersey shore hotels so I was on high alert while walking the grounds on my way to room. Everything seemed OK so far. As I entered the room with great trepidation, I was pleased to see a bright and what appeared to be a very clean room ( breathes sigh of relief ). I must say that the room was spotless, and believe me I thoroughly inspected. Clean bathroom ( checked tile behind toilet and all ), clean laminate hard wood floors ( no dust under bed ) linens and beds clean ( bed bug check done ). Thank God !! A clean jersey shore hotel !!! Hotel is family oriented, so kids are abound. The pool is a bit crowded with them during the day, but most were well behaved. Best time for me to swim was after the beach at about 5pm when they are already getting dressed to go to dinner with parents. One drawback was no hot tub, thought there was one but it was a kiddie pool. The hotel offers you continental breakfast, and use of bicycles, beach chairs, and boogie boards for the beach, free of charge. On average my girlfriend, my 15 yr old son and myself would return to the room about 12:30 am or so.... And it was very quiet. Not noisy at all. Slept like a baby. Had one issue opening my in room safe in the morning, and it was rectified within 5 minutes. Overall... Friendly staff, decent pool, great location smack in the middle of everything, and most of all clean..clean...clean ( and my OCD is making me say it again ) CLEAN !! Keep in mind my stay was during the week, and cannot account for weekend service or atmosphere. read more
