Oyster condiments

Looking for a place to have a drink and the tiki bar caught my eye. Cute little bar with orange decor. Steel drummer entertained the bar guest. Good wine and beer selection. Cocktails were made with fresh fruit. Enjoyed, a dozen of best shucked oysters in the area.

We just got back from a mini vacation of 4 days, 3 nights. We had a blast. Great weather, great location, great venue, beautiful views. The resort is pricey but about the same as any there with amazing views. I opted to spring for a 6th floor penthouse room, oceanfront. I figure I'm going to the ocean. I want to hear it, see it, smell it. I'm going to put up a bazillion photos. The rooms are a tiny bit dated but not bad. Kind of dark but we were only there to sleep. We spent time on the balcony when we weren't at the pool, beach, out to dinner, seeing sights. The rooms were well kept and clean. Great tiki bar. Great drinks. Great breakfasts at the Salt Grass restaurant. We didn't eat dinner there and regret not choosing it for one of the nights. The pool was to die for. Pool service was fabulous. Once you choose your spot, Sammi comes by to set up your towels and put up your umbrella if you so desire. I swam a lot. It was never overcrowded and it was very warm. You can order drinks and food poolside. There is food service on the beach but not drink service. We would go from pool to beach to pool and walk the beach again at night. Beautiful reclining chairs and umbrellas are provided on the beach, complimentary. You don't even have to bring beach chairs. I loved that! I'm only giving it a 4 instead of a 5 because the bathroom was teeny tiny. Not much room on the sink to put toiletries. No room to store toiletries not in use. Hard to even turn around. Ok, get ready for tons of photos~ It was a vacation to remember!

Very clean room and the most modern hotel on the strip. Nice sized pool with bar out front of the building, glasses in walls and very well done furnishings. Place smelled great. Service was courteous. Needed extra soap and toiletries and they were left as we asked. I was a little upset because I had left my electric toothbrush behind and two phone calls they couldn't locate it? It was an expensive one too... can't imagine they threw it out but.......

King Side Ocean View

King Side Ocean View Room- Don't be fooled! If you are on the right side of the hotel, 3rd floor or below, you will NOT have any sort of ocean view. We were charged the additional cost for this "side view" and even showed the front desk a picture of our view- the wall and A/C unit of the neighboring building. They did nothing. The first person we talked to actually was extremely condescending. We explained if we were a floor higher, we wouldn't have an issue. We suggested they simply refund us the difference for the price of a room with no ocean view, and they wouldn't help us. When checking out, we asked the front desk to speak to a manager about this, they said they would definitely have someone contact us. It's been over 2 weeks and nothing. We aren't surprised. This hotel was WAY overpriced for what you get. Location to the beach was decent, but it is FAR walking distance from everything else in downtown Cape May. It honestly feels like you are staying in a roadside motel with an expensive coat of paint on it. One night, it was raining as we were leaving to walk to dinner. We asked the front desk if they had an umbrella to borrow. His response? "We had one at the beginning of the year, but don't anymore." So...why did you only have ONE? And why didn't you replace it?! Perfect laughable moment that really speaks to the "quality" of the hotel. These things combined with the unhelpful staff, made sure we won't EVER come back. I suggest staying at Congress Hall, Virginia Hotel, or a B&B...those seemed fabulous.

Brand new soaker tub and bathroom- shower and heated toilet seat! Very clean and spacious!

We had a beautiful, newly renovated room with soaker tub for two. The room and grounds were clean and pleasant. The only negative is that I felt the housecleaning crew was too loud out in the hall before 9am. Too bad they don't offer room service- the. Our stay would have been complete!

Hotel is right across street from beach with parking onsite in back of hotel, pool onsite with food and drinks in front of hotel and great restaurant on first floor. Works are well trained and friendly. Beach set up is great with food from 12pm to 5pm. Pricy, but worth it to have an all onsite experience.

Exceptional. The newly renovated rooms are fantastic. Our room was on the 6th floor and was stunning.

I've stayed at their Diamond Beach location, but this was my first time here. Let me mention the most enjoyable employees first. Chet was at the Front Desk when I checked out. He was by far the most friendly person I interacted with at the front desk. Some of the females were a bit...... unfriendly. If you chose to work in a customer service position it's probably best to have a sunny disposition. I think Cape May needs to address that. Tarik/Tajik? He was the young men who helped EVERYBODY get their chairs and umbrellas to the beach. He was WORKING! Yet, he always remained pleasant. And lastly, the gentleman driving the shuttle was very pleasant. He picked us up/dropped us off about 4 times. He was also servicing the Mahalo (and Icona resort) so he had his work cut out for him! We REALLY appreciated him as it was pouring one night and he came to pick us up and bring us back to the hotel. That amenity is CLUTCH! Overall, it's a nice hotel. Clean, a beautiful small bathroom, a cute little kitchen area, a small pool, and parking. Somebody mentioned the room was small, but to me it was a decent size. The balcony however, now THAT was small. Just enough room for the 2 of us to sit out there side by side and chill. I did see larger balconies out by the pool (facing the beach) so I guess you get what you pay for (larger room perhaps; suite). The AC however, is loud. It's not a window unit, but one of those wall units. I'm glad I brought my earplugs, otherwise I probably wouldn't have slept. And speaking of sleep, the bed is not what I am used to when I visit a hotel; especially a higher end boutique hotel. It was uncomfortable to me. My partner however, had no problem sleeping and did not feel it was uncomfortable. So.... roll the dice. The pool is tiny. Or shall I say, smaller than the size you will expect it to be. But it works. I chilled in the pool for 3 days. It's a good spot to people watch and break from the sand of the beach. And once we parked, we didn't have to move the car. Cape May is very pedestrian friendly. We walked and rode bikes every where we went. I love it. It was a great getaway. Check it out.

Our room (201) was large, clean, and nicely designed, with a full (albeit abbreviateD) kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, and plenty of space to hang out. The balcony had a beautiful view of the sunset and was one of our favorite parts of the stay. One parking space is included and it's a very easy walk to either the beach or town for shopping or food. It's probably (definitely) on the higher end price-wise during the summer, but for a fall weekend, it was ideal: quiet, comfortable, and close to everything.

Pulling up in front was happy to see pictures matched actual (as we all have sadly learned, not always the case), check-in was a breeze (again with Lena) and enjoyed a humorous back and forth with Franco. Into the room and - no major disappointments. Perhaps slightly smaller than I expected, but super clean, nicely appointed, tile bath, nicer linens that weren't threadbare and a mini-kitchen - micro, middle size refrig, and coffee pot. Just enough. In fact perfect for a 3 night stay. A nice pool (again seemed a tad small, but am seeing that's the norm here, so perhaps it's my expectations that are the wrong size!), a BBQ/picnic area out back, as well as a a laundry/ice machine room. Consistently clean and neat. Everywhere. Just exceptionally well kept up. Slightly outside of 'downtown', but still walkable.... and far less $$$ with far less hustle and bustle. IMO, a good trade off. Very pleased with this choice. We called for an extra blanket and it was delivered in under 5 minutes. Oh, a parking space, beach chairs and towels come with the room, too! Rocking chairs out front, tables and chairs out back let you enjoy some outdoor space - and the pool of course! Very nicely (and thoughtfully) laid out! Note: they have several room types.
