My first time here but definitely not my last! I was impressed by the quick seating, the quick attending to my table, and the food being served within 20 minutes of ordering. It was my son's birthday and I bought along a few family members and we all loved our food. The ambience of the place is so comforting and of course the ocean is always a bonus. Great restaurant and great team here. I ordered the scallops and it was delicious. My son ordered chicken strips and the grilled cheese from the kids menu and my nephews order chicken strips as well. We finished with a chocolate cake and sang happy birthday to my son. Awesome way to finish the weekend! read more

Great location but poor service (slow). Granted it was very busy. We had to wait for a long time, too long, for a waitress (more than 30 minutes before a waitress came to our table, but that was after I already got our drinks at the bar). So we just had drinks up on the "Rooftop bar'. Great view of the beach. It was very loud music and was crowded on the roof. But we found a table, sharing it initially with a few other people then when they left, we moved over to the end of the table with a better view. It is great to have access to a nice facility like this on the beach. I recommend checking it out, just be prepared to get your drinks directly at the bar. I've recently tried this restaurant for brunch with my family. It is definitely very busy for brunch so keep that in mind if you are wanting to come here. They said they did not take reservations on the weekends so that is why we had to wait so long for a table. I think it would be more accommodating for guests to take reservations on weekends considering how popular this restaurant seems to be. The views are beautiful since it is right on the beach, which is the main reason this restaurant is so popular. The food was pretty good. The grits with the fried chicken were delicious and really complimented each other. The steak on the Benedict was over cooked. The eggs and the potatoes were really good so it was a little upsetting that the steak did not match up. Over all the food was good but not the best. I would be interested in trying this place again for dinner to compare the difference. read more

We got together with a group of friends at Beach House Pompano for brunch. We were celebrate a few birthdays, and had scheduled ahead of time. Unlike other places that make you wait until our entire party has arrived, when we arrive we were told our party was waiting on the second floor. We had plenty of space, a bar, and a great view of the beach. Once we were all there we walked downstairs to our table. It was nice and efficient. Once downstairs the service was good, they had bottomless mimosas (bottles on the table like a good brunch should) and a decent selection of dishes to pick from. A few more choices would have been great, but overall they had something for everyone. I had a good burger, with tasty skinny fries. Some of my friends had salads, eggs benedict, sushi, and sandwiches. Everything look great and I didn't heard any complaints. After a few rounds of mimosas we hangout by the outside bar, which had a great view of the beach. Overall, we had a great experience at Beach House Pompano, would definitely recommend based on this experience. We will return. read more

Pompano beach house is such a staple in the area, the location is amazing and the view is absolutely beautiful. There is plenty of street parking as well as a garage so very accessible. Their burrata salad is my favorite thing on the menu and their sushi is surprisingly delicious. It pains me to give this place 3 stars but their service is simply deplorable especially in the second floor bar area (which is where the view is!) every single time I have been there the bartenders have an attitude and placing an order seems like an inconvenience. The servers in the main dining room downstairs are much nicer but I don't come to this place for the indoor environment. I really hope this changes because it truly takes away from the experience. read more

My kids had a grilled salmon w sweet potato fries and mac and cheese. My only complaint is that the service was a little slow. The longest order we waited for was the kids mac and cheese! It was a perfect evening to go to dinner at the Beach house. The decor is wonderful due to magnificent beach views. It's also a great location just off the pier. There was no waiting to be seated which was wonderful for a weekend visit. The food was just as fresh as the pictures look below. I enjoyed the Monte Carlo chicken sandwich. The potatoes were good but a bit much on the garlic flavor for me. My guests also enjoyed their selections. We took orders of the key lime pie home for dessert and they did not disappoint. Perfecto! After we finished our car service around Pompano Beach, we started looking for a place for lunch. My wife suggested this place because it's been on her bookmark for a long time and given it was a beautiful day, lunch by the beach sounded like a good idea. Usually parking around the beach could be tough, but luckily this place is located next to a parking lot so that takes care of that. The restaurant is right on the beach overlooking the ocean. We sat at the bar and had an amazing view. The menu looked very interesting with different dinning options. I wanted have something light so I ordered the Crab Cake Salad. The crab cake got really nice flavors and the salad was lightly dressed and delicious. My wife ordered the Country Fried Boneless Chicken. The chicken was lightly breaded and was seasoned beautifully. I also love the gravy with the biscuits. She said it was one of the best country fried chicken she ever had. Overall the whole experience was excellent. We enjoyed our food and the bartender was friendly and attentive, and he took really care of us. The prices might be a little bit on the high-ends, but given by it's location, it's still worth the visit. read more

What a great place for a casual light meal. I highly recommend going while the sun is still up. The view is fabulous right on the beach. You can see the lighthouse and the pier. The Service was great. We had Nick, who was attentive and quick witted. The food while limited is good with plenty of flavors. Indoor and outdoor seating with no bad views. Parking is only a block away, but the do have valet. If you are going on the weekend there aren't reservations, it is first come first served. So if you go after 6:30 you might have to wait. During the week you can make reservations. If you want a place by the beach it would be recommended to make your reservations earlier. read more

Beachhouse is our favorite restaurant in the Pompano Beach area for a few reasons. 1. The food is excellent and the portions are great 2. You can't beat the location because it's awesome 3. Came here with a large group of girls on a Monday night (7 to be exact). They told me the wait would be 30-45 minutes so I decided to grab a drink on the rooftop bar despite the weather being windy and rainy. The roof top bar is beyond beautiful... it's facing the ocean and just a stunning view. They have couches facing the ocean as well. I ordered the Bolivian mojito. Freshly made and not too sweet.. delish. My friend had the cucumber martini.. it was wayyy too strong.. she couldn't even drink it :( With no happy hour, drink prices are a bit steep but I'll pay for that view! Within 15-20 minutes I received a text message that our table was ready. The server was Jessie, he was friendly and brought the table a round of waters to start. For appetizers we ordered a coconut shrimp roll, the California roll, and the sea-breezy caprese.the coconut shrimp roll was good but I did not taste any coconut in it. The sea breezy caprese was presented as stacks of tomatoes with mozzarella in between and drizzled with balsamic vinegar.. I've never seen it presented like this. The tomatoes and mozzarella both tasted fresh and was what I wanted. For my main course I had the cilantro key lime chicken with a substitute of homemade Mac n cheese instead of French fries. They basically give you half of a rotisserie chicken which I wasn't expecting. The cilantro key lime sauce was not my favorite at all. Which is surprising because I love both cilantro and key lime anything. The homemade Mac n cheese was creamy and made up for my disappointment with the chicken. The chocolate gelato was one of the best I've tried and (I've been to Italy). Served with two piroulines, star berries and bananas it was pure heaven. Oh and there are slivers of chocolate chips inside it as well. The brownie reminded me of one of those flourless brownie deals.. it lacked chewiness which is a must in my brownies. If you go between 4-6 you'll be able to catch the sunset. In regards to the food I would say the menu is a little limited (one page) but what we ordered was great! Our waiter was amazing. Hands down. The ambiance is lovely on the beach. The food needs work. The oysters were excellent as they were from James River. The trout dip was missing flavor and the fries lacked the requisite salt. Most disappointing was the main brunch dish. The steak benedict was ordered medium rare and came out well done. We sent it back. It came out again this time medium well but I say that generously as there was very little pink. The side potatoes were tasty but not enough to support the dish. We were asked to send it back again if we weren't happy but at that point it's one too many times. I hope the food improves to meet the location and standards of the excellent staff. The views, vibes and food were all incredible! We came on a Sunday so it was very busy, the wait for a booth was long but we were able to get a high top with a beautiful view. The drinks & food were such great quality. Our drinks were so refreshing we couldn't decide which one was better between the passion fruit mojito and piña colada which was a wonderful frozen not at all watered down consistency. The fish dip was delicious & super flavorful it did have quiet a bit of tiny fish bones in it which the server said it was normal however this recent order they received in had more than usual and she happily took it off of the bill for us without us even asking. The chicken cordon blue sand which and Mac and cheese were out of this world. Highly recommend trying both. The slider was one of the best sliders I've ever had the combination of the braised short rib, brisket & chuck was absolutely delicious. The sauce sauce on it was also incredible, truly amazing. Got some drinks while we waited and when we finally got seated we were informed that there was not potatoes or sweet potatoes, how it's that possible? The food is fresh and delicious. The service is ok, sometimes it's great, other times a bit slow. Seating is inside or out. Parking in this area is extremely difficult. Best mac n cheese in Broward county. Views make this place. They also have a really good brunch. Highly recommend sitting upstairs. Only thing I didn't like that I've ordered there is the steak. I asked for it Oscar style, waiter didn't know what that was and said no instead of asking the chef. All in all though great spot. read more
