Blue Ocean Smoothie! (Matched my nails )
    Ashna D.

An absolute gem of a small business located here in San Leandro, CA! We don't have a lot of healthy food options so when I found this place on Yelp when I was craving smoothies and found that it was right down the street from my workplace, I was ecstatic. Parking is in a small paid plaza and I highly recommend paying for parking since the patrol is always out around here. I've gotten the Blue Ocean (my fav) & Blueberry Dream smoothies as well as the avocado toast. If you love coconut milk/water like me, the blue ocean is the perfect drink for you and it's so extremely refreshing and pretty to look at too. I don't typically buy avocado toast from outdoor restaurants since I think I can make it better but this place has delicious fluffy bread and well marinated/seasoned avocado so every bite is heaven. The only drawback is that you do have to wait a while for your order (~30-45 minutes during lunch time) so I highly recommend utilizing their online payment platform Revi to order in advance. It's a small business with limited hours so please give grace & be patient with our local East Bay business owners who have a wonderful & quality businesses like Be Well Juice Co.

This spot is getting remodeled or they barely opened either way they're still taking orders. I ordered out of curiosity, got the blueberry dream with added chia and collagen. It taste just like a fruity cereal with bananas sooooooo good, definitely coming back.

The Warrior drink! Amazing and beautiful!

I went here today for lunch & I will definitely be going back! I got The Warrior drink & it is so good. I hope they keep it on the menu forever! There wasn't much service but for an introvert like me, doing the ordering by tablet and no people was great for me!

I stumbled upon this smoothie spot about a week ago & found myself coming back for more! (specifically for the blue ocean smoothie) I was in LA for some time and they have so many healthy food options EVERYWHERE! Coming back to the Bay I didn't realize how much we lack on the açaí bowls, smoothies , & juice shops in the East Bay community. I'm soooooo happy I found a small business that does not disappoint with the delicious healthy food options. So far I've been pleased with the service. You order through a kiosk or online and it gives you an estimated time on when your order will be ready. You receive a text message when your order is ready aan employee will hand it off to you. Be Well Juice Co. will definitely be my go to!

I am a fan of Be Well Juice ever since I was customer #1 on Small Business Saturday during their soft opening when I met owner Amy and picked up a few bottles of their cold press juices, Green Beet, seasonal Persimmon Lemon and Sweet Kale. I was back by the next week picking up more of that Persimmon before they ran out. After the holiday craziness, I was back again for two bottles of their Red Beet, celebrated Earth Day with their vegetarian Portobello Sando, vegan Well Whip for Dole Whip lovers like myself (pineapple, cold pressed pineapple juice, housemade coconut milk, agave) and their Earth Day/weekend exclusive Coco Sphere (banana, housemade coconut milk, honey, ceremonial matcha, blue spirulina). Even better, Be Well Juice Co. donated a percentage of net sales from the Coco Sphere which I literally went back the next day again for and green cold press line (sweet kale, green beet, celemon) that weekend towards nonprofit @savesfbay. They are constantly expanding their offerings, including some exclusives like that Earth Day, Mother's Day, and Warriors smoothies so each visit can be completely different or a repeat or threepeat of your faves like that Portobello Sando which is the best meat free sandwich I have ever tasted. Being able to pre-order online now means no excuse for not stopping by.

    New hours.

Be Well Juice is where Atelier Colibri was. interior hasn't changed. just take out available. one person doing everything. hours have changed-more days/hours now. offerings: cold-pressed juice, smoothies, sandos eats: the lox sando (13.50) -"smoked salmon, micro greens, red onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, capers, whipped cream cheese, olive oil toasted sourdough" -1/2 of the sando was smoked salmon, the other 1/2 was the mix of greens, veggies. the sourdough bread had a nice buttery crunch due to olive oil.. 4.5- definitely loving this rendition, would repeat rather than eat a burger or chicken sandwich. take outs: -passed on drinks since many veggies are on my "do not eat" list. -wonderful, quick, efficient service by a one person show....

Was in the Pelton Center dropping off dry cleaning and happened upon this new juice/smoothie shop. Order at the door and card/virtual wallet is best. Next time I would probably call in an order but not sure if they do that. It's a slower process here - so be prepared to wait for the juicy goodness. The smoothie was super thick and the ratios were delicious, I see why they don't do substitutions - formula is perfection. You can tell the quality of ingredients here - taste like real live food. The juice was shockingly vibrant - in the best way. Perfect little cleanse after my trip. Staff are so authentically warm and passionate for their craft. Will definitely make it a regular stop in the future - support them so they can stick around for all of us!

There's a new juice shop in town! Full disclosure - I was actually planning to get boba across the way at I tea. But the line was just too long and I was too impatient for that. I had already noticed the juice sign as I was walking up and as a pressed juice lover, I had to check them out. It looks as though they just moved in, as they were still preparing the store, but there is a menu already up and running and friendly staff to assist you. I ended up with the woke juice, which is pear, green apple, lemon and ginger. I don't usually see pear at a juice shop so I had to get that one. There's two sizes - 12 oz. or 16 oz. I went for the smaller one since I was just trying them out but after my first sip, I regretted not getting the larger size. They also offer a couple of food items, including a lox sando. Will definitely return and look forward to trying more of their drinks, especially that cacao nibs and banana smoothie.

Blueberry Smoothie on the right! And on the left (read the label ). So vibrant and delicious!

5-stars ALL AROUND. This place is seriously my new addiction. Fresh and delicious beverages, and the owner Amy is so personable and kind. As I'm typing this, I'm thinking of the next drink to order. Lol. I come here at least twice a week and never leave disappointed. Love this place and HIGHLY recommend it!!

We wanted to get Boba tea nearby but BE WELL JUICE stopped us. It's soooooo gooooood. Will be back for sure.

When I passed by Roccabs at 1:40pm same day, the doors were open and patrons were inside eating lunch. I continued to call and no one was answering the phones. After I finished shopping at Sprouts, I returned to my car and decided to go to Roccabs in person. I was still calling and still no one answered. I pulled up in front of the deli before 2pm and there were still patrons dining "inside" of the deli. I got out of my car and headed inside only to meet one of the employees as she was leaving and she smiled and said, "Im sorry we are closing now". I looked over at the two women who were sitting down and eating their lunch, as I was turned away. There were no hours posted on the door, and everyone behind the counter was literally standing around talking. I probably will not return based on the service. Not answering the phones, but your doors are open and you are serving patrons who were white and turning away people of color coming through the door, during normal business hours according to Google and no signs on the door indicating special hours today. All while turning away POC patrons on MLK day. Nope!!! Do better Roccab. You could have taken the time to post special hours and since you were in fact open, you could have answered the phones to let customers know you had special hours today or that you were Not open to the public. These are simple things to do. And it looks really awkward telling someone you are not open, when you have other people dining inside your establishment.

Parking is always tight in this plaza, but I got lucky on a Saturday afternoon. Bara's was poppin when I walked in. Ordering is quick, the menu is extensive, but the man taking my order was so patient. I went with their Bara's combo special with all the fixin's and had to get their dutch crutch. I love that you can choose the bread, and the Bara's combo is great since you can choose your meat/proteins. Turkey and roast beef were juicy and flavorful. Plus their meats are all halal! Every single ingredient was fresh and high quality. The flavors were unmatched. And the bread was perfectly airy and crunchy, without scraping my entire roof of my mouth. It's embarassing I used to get Ike's when there's sandwich spots like Bara's. They have a whole drinks section, chips, and an open deli display case. There's tons of inside seating, great for coworkers, families, or solo dining. No outdoor seating unfortunately. Most of the waiting time is after you order, so allot a solid 15mins, even if you're just waiting for your one order. Bara's is also Palestinian-owned. So not only are you getting a delicious, HUGE portion'd, but fresh meal, you are also knowingly pouring your hard earned money and labor into supporting a local family-owned business. Everything we do has a footprint, including the businesses you choose to support and eat at. Go forth Bara's!

We noticed two self-service ordering kiosks to the right but decided to check out the menu board and salad case first. When we were done, the cashier asked if she could take our order. That's always my preference over poking buttons on a impersonal screen. We placed our order, paid, and stood aside to wait. My name was called when our order was ready. It was bagged and ready to go. We thanked the cashier and went home. Normally, I'm not a sandwich guy. Today, after working outside in the sun, I was hungry and had a craving for something filling and cold. Macaroni Salad was on my mind. I looked that up on Yelp and Bara's was reasonably close. I also saw a Shrimp Salad that looked pretty good online. When we arrived home, I proceeded to take pictures of our meal. Sigh. Instead of Macaroni Salad, we got Potato Salad. Not quite the same. A quick peek at my receipt and I saw that the wrong key must have been pressed. I should have checked my receipt after I paid. The cashier should have repeated the order before sending it. The Potato Salad didn't satisfy my craving for Macaroni Salad, but I wasn't about to drive back to exchange it. The flavor was unique though, in that it had a cheesy flavor. The Shrimp Salad was not good. Flavor wise, it was okay with a little bit of heat. But texture wise, it was a mess. If Shrimp was supposed to be cooked for two minutes and then dropped into an ice bath, these had been cooked for four minutes and not iced. They were cooked to death. I got a Bay Area Special with Swiss. It was okay. A ton of meat, not so much on the veg. I would prefer more balance. But overall, it was pretty good. She got The Gobbler. She also felt that the meat overwhelmed the veg. Additionally, the cranberry sauce was overwhelmed by the cream cheese. We came, we saw, we ate. It'll be a long while before I go after another sandwich.
