Workers are always friendly and give great recommendations. I have been here numerous times, and my favorite items have been their lychee tonic (though on the pricier end for $9) and the Fist Bump (small black sesame breve), but I also love their hot flat white, as it has the balance of their strong and smooth espresso flavor with the perfect balance of milk. I have also enjoyed the Cloudy, which has subtle notes of red date and pear with a cream top. The drink was nicely balanced and not too sweet. Honestly, you can't go wrong with any of their coffee drinks, which have strong coffee notes. I also love their coffee cakes, which tend to sell out pretty quickly by midday. The cake is rich and moist with a nice cinnamon-sugar top and pairs nicely with coffee. They have plenty of parking in the back lot. Definitely check them out if you're in the area!

I was in the area on a weekday and decided to stop by before work to grab a coffee. I went at around 8:30 AM and it was busy with many folks doing work. After looking at the menu, I had a hard time trying to figure out what to get given the selection! I asked for a recommendation between drinks and they mentioned if I want a hot drink - Miso White would be good; for a cold drink - Lychee Tonic would be ideal. It was a hotter day, so I opted for the Lychee Tonic. Since it was busy, the wait was ~ 10 minutes for the drink. After giving it a try, it tasted refreshing but I didn't really get the lychee taste. Not the best first impression with the tonic. However, I'd still consider coming back considering their ambience. Also absolutely interested to try their pour over options! Parking is available in the back of the building. American Express is accepted here.

Gave it a second chance since Uncle Fung was packed. I'm glad we came back. The service was good and whole experience was not bad. DRINKS: Iced Hojicha Latte, add agave & Sea Salt Foam 4.5/5 $9.25. Liked it, but slightly too sweet. It was okay after I added more ice later. Ended up combining leftover Hojicha & coffee together. Tastes pretty good. This drink got pretty expensive. Didn't realize the Sea Salt Foam was $1.25 extra. Thought it was free (came with the drink) when the cashier asked which sweetener & cold foam I would like. Hot Latte, Add Vanilla Syrup 4.25/5 $6.50. Solid/safe choice. Hot Black Sesame 4/5 $6.50. Not bad, but I may be like Da Vien and/or Lotus & Bean's Hot Black Sesame drink a tad bit more. PASTRIES/BAKED GOODS: $4.50. Chocolate Chip Cookie

The matcha itself was pretty weak and a bit flat, missing that rich, earthy depth you'd hope for, so overall it just fell a little meh. The sesame cream added a nice richness, but didn't bring much of that distinct nutty sesame flavor and mostly just tasted creamy. That said, the space is beautiful. It's clean and minimalist with lots of natural wood, high ceilings, and an open, airy layout. There's plenty of seating, making it a great spot to work, study, or just hang out. I'd still be open to coming back and giving it another try, maybe the double matcha will hit better next time.

The SGV has always been the mecca of boba shops, and I would recommend this place. The service was excellent and fast, I forget to get the barista's name, but he honestly deserves a raise for working by himself on a Saturday afternoon, he did so well. It was the fastest I have ever got a drink, he was so on top of things. I hope the owners are reading this and really consider rewarding top employees like him. I got the viral Pear and Matcha drink, which was surprisingly really good. I wasn't sure at first about how it was going to taste, but that secret pear syrup did the trick lolol. The drink itself is $5.99, plus $2.00 for the oat milk, so it came to over $9+. They honestly should consider lowering the oat milk to $1.00 cuz $2.00 is higher than other places, so then you're basically paying $10+ for boba. We're officially entering the era of inflation because I still remember when boba was like a few bucks LOLOL. Anyways, good boba, just a bit overpriced.

I got the persimmon latte, but the syrup was a bit underwhelming. The drink was really pretty, but it could have passed for just a sweetened iced latte. The cup size is big for $5.99. I should have clarified how many espresso shots they use because it kept me awake all day! I couldn't fall asleep until really late. Service is not really there since you can order on the kiosk. No bathroom There is free street parking in front, but there's more parking in the Hawaii supermarket lot. Credit card/apple pay accepted

I ordered two Pandan Coffee $6.75 (price as of April 2026.. $7.46 including tax). One with regular ice and one with less ice. The pandan coffee includes Robusta Vietnamese double espresso serve with fresh pandan juice prepared in-house, coconut milk and whole milk. I loved this drink as it was just the right amount sweet. The pandan flavor was also enough for my liking, and the overall drink was not heavy (sometimes that pandan flavor can be too heavy). We thoroughly enjoyed our drinks, and I'll continue to crave it from time to time. The line was suUuper long that went straight to the restroom so I opted to order online, which I highly recommend. lotus-and-bean.square.site Though, I did want to mention that although I placed my mobile order, the order took longer to receive and pick up when compared to the estimated time. I gave it some extra time before I went up to the counter, but had to wait maybe another 10 minutes longer before I received my order. If you're in a rush, please consider ordering with sufficient time in advance through mobile order. The funny thing is, I actually got my "Your order from LOTUS & BEAN is ready" email at a comical 1:14 PM. Customer Service: Not as much interaction, the staff member who helped me was friendly Overall, I'm giving this experience a full 5 star review for my love of the pandan drink. Otherwise, the drink getting experience probably would have made this a 4. Anyways, I'll be sure to come back to satisfy my next pandan coffee craving!

Here, the beverage menu spans from the usual suspects to over-the-top lattes featuring ube, pandan, corn, and more. The shop maintains a strong social media presence, but has received little press; nonetheless, the mob around the stall every weekend morning speaks for itself. L&B has a stall in the Blossom Market Hall. Briefly, this premium San Gabriel food hall (opened in a former Masonic lodge) hosts two rooms of fast casual food and beverages, broadly with a pan-Asian bent. The rainbow mosaic mural in the main room is almost pretty enough to make you forget the weak AC. Chatter for customers overwhelms the pop playlist. L&B is right up front, in the accessory room. The miniature pastry case is stocked with cookies and croffles. The menu is displayed on flat screens behind the counter, while seasonal drinks are featured against the faux-foliage wall to the right. Across the expansive menu, my go-to drink is the Pandan Coffee. The coffee is strong, and the pandan-forward flavor is indulgent without feeling unnecessarily sweet. Other solid choices are the fresh Banana Coffee and toasty Black Sesame Coffee. Any of the beverages can be decked with a cream top; my favorite is the sweet-and-savory Black Sesame Cream, but the smoky Creme Brulee Cream with intermittent sugar crisps is a strong option, too. The service is efficient, but the queue may still take 30 minutes if you don't order ahead. The coffees run $6-7, before accounting for add-ons. While the price is no laughing matter, neither are the drinks -- my fiancee and I agree that they are the best Vietnamese lattes in the area, always fun but never sacrificing flavor or quality.

We tried the OG Messy Cookie, the Matcha Strawberry Mochi Scone, the Ube Oreo Messy Cookie, and a few other baked goods. The ube was rich and slightly nutty with a natural sweetness that wasn't overpowering. Everything tasted fresh, thoughtfully made, and well-balanced. We also ordered a few drinks: the seasonal Pandan Matcha latte, the Re:Bakesic Tonic, and the Osmanthus Honey Latte. Each one was unique and well-crafted. My favorite was the Osmanthus Honey Latte. It had a nice floral smell, a smooth coffee taste, and wasn't too sweet. It felt light and comforting, not overly sugary. The Pandan Matcha Latte was also tasty --creamy, with pandan pairing beautifully with the earthy matcha. I hope they keep it on the menu. Overall, this spot is a must-visit in the 626 area. The flavors are distinctive, the quality is high, and the service is genuinely welcoming. I'll definitely be back and am excited to try more of their seasonal offerings. Highly recommend!

They typically use agave as their sweetener in their iced matcha latte but they have simple syrup if that's more your vibe like it is mine :) I always love coming here and trying their delicious pastries and food made in-house. Today I tried a spam kimchi hand pie and it was SO GOOD. Absolutely delightful. I love that they keep making new pastries. I also got the oreo daifuku and it was delicious - so soft and chewy. Great place to come chill and drink good matcha. Coming back for sure!
