"I hired the team (Irvin Kwong) - Vancouver. The actual job has been subcontracted out to a guy by the name of Bill. He then got 3 others to do the work for him. Appointment at 9am, they claimed that the truck broke down and showed up at 2pm!!! Then when they are about to dismantle my furniture, found out that they FORGOT to take their tool box. We waited 30 mins for the box (in this case, I'm charged by 15 mins' interval). When the tool box arrived, they found out that the tools can't take apart my IKEA bed frame and in the process, broke the bed frame. They then spent the next 30 mins arguing with me about why they are not liable. Bill drove to my house and told the guys to just drop off my stuff, i.e. put them back where they picked them up and refuse to do the move for me. This is a on Saturday and they know at the last minute, I would not be able to move, I am at their mercy. BILL is a mean, irresponsible and horrible person. Don't ever engage in their service. The whole time, I was trying to get hold of Irvin Kwong whom I signed up the service with. He refused to pick up my calls, yet would pick up Bill's. And they aren't that cheap, because they intentionally DRAG out the whole process. Hire them at your own risk. I still have pictures of my damaged bed frame, by the way. Kobchai : They removed 30 mins from the bill, yes. But, they spent 30 mins talking about how to move my bed frame and another 30 mins to go retrieve tools, which happen not to be the right ones to work on my bed frame. If you are serious about improving your business, you should never use the likes of Irvin and Bill. read more

So I'm the type of person who saves her cardboard boxes move after move until they are falling apart, and then scrounges for more as needed. Unfortunately, it seems that businesses are increasingly loathe to give their cardboard away, for reasons far beyond this mortal's comprehension. While perusing Craigslist trying to find a non-sketchy mover (ha ha, gave up on that proposition and went to the far more trustworthy Yelp reviews instead), I saw Chai's Bungo Box ad. Checked out the website, saw that his rental and delivery charges are cheaper than Frogbox, so I said, "SOLD!" By the way, he also offers free delivery if your order is over $100. I ordered 10 large boxes using the online form. Chai called within the next day or so to confirm my order, then again the day before delivery, and finally the day of delivery when he was on his way. Wash, rinse, and repeat 2 weeks later when it was time for pick-up. Love that communication! It's amazing how much stuff I could fit into these boxes. I filled them about 1/2 full with books or whatever, then filled the rest of the space with cushions and pillows so the boxes wouldn't be too ridiculously heavy. It would be awesome if Bungo Box comes out with a box about 1/2 the size of the large box. A smaller box would be perfect for books & DVDs and eliminate the temptation to see just how strong you, your friends, or your movers are. So between Chai at Bungo Box and Meredith at Jim's Moving, this most recent move sucked less! Woohoo! read more

The move itself went quite well, and I was happy with their scheduling flexibility as afternoon worked best for us. The movers worked expediently, but unbelievably, it was sprung on us mid-move that there would be an additional $150.00 charge to move our small, apartment-sized piano - over and above the hourly rate quoted. Given we had no other option as we had to be out of our place that day, we paid the fee, and mentioned we would speak to a supervisor within a few days, as it was after hours. It is important to note that NOTHING was mentioned in the contract about additional charges for "heavy items". It is not my role to know their internal policies. Since the move, I have contacted customer service THREE separate times in 4 weeks, and every time was promised a supervisor call back to discuss this situation. 3 times now I have been ignored. Watch out for hidden charges and a lack of communication and accountability if something goes wrong with your move. EDIT: if you are interested in my response to Bungobox, please click on the Chat Bubble at the bottom of their response to see my reply (it doesn't automatically show on my tablet, so I'm assuming it may not show for you). I have also reduced my review from 2 stars to 1 given their outright refusal to return phone calls. read more

We are a medium sized suburban law firm that moved October 31, 2015. We met with 3 movers and decided to go with Bungobox given the great pricing, professionalism , attention to detail and support throughout. They were meticulous in explaining how things would work and delivered boxes/extra boxes on time and went through the details of move day ...all of which lifted a heavy burden off our shoulders. They have a 'box department' and a 'move department' both of which worked together like clockwork. Before move day they delivered some "library carts" which meant we did not need to box the many accordion files we have ! We would recommend Bungobox hands-down when it comes to moving services ... as a law firm we aim to provide excellent client service in each and every case no matter how big or small ... and that is precisely what we received from Bungobox - excellence in every respect from start to finish. Chai, Kevin, John and Viktor went above & beyond and made what could have been a daunting task a relatively easy one. Thank you for being there when we needed you ... If you are looking for professional movers, you can go ahead and look around but we seriously doubt you will find anyone better than Bungobox. I'm totally blown away by BungoBox. I have often used Yelp to read reviews, but have never been so compelled to write my own review until after experiencing such top-notch service from BungoBox. Moving is one of the worst life experiences anyone can have. I was absolutely dreading the idea of having to drive around looking for boxes. I did some searches and chose BungoBox because of how easy the website was to use and because of the price (No hidden fees either). Chai followed up with me by telephone quickly after my order to arrange delivery. He said he would be at my place at 8AM. Called at 7:45 to let me know he was close and arrived right at 8. The boxes were totally clean and didn't take up too much space. Chai was a great guy. Really professional. I will never use cardboard boxes again and will look to Chai for all of my future moving needs. read more

These guys are great! I worked with them through Vancouver In the Box, a packing service, and they coordinated their delivery and pick-up times perfectly so that the boxes were there when the packers arrived and removed shortly after they finished. Our BungoBox guys were Darren and Raad and they were both nice and professional. The boxes were clean and in good condition and all of our stuff came through the move beautifully. I could tell it was so much easier for our movers to be able to stack these boxes and roll them around on carts than it would have been if we had packed in cardboard -- plus, love the environmentally sustainable aspect of using the crates. Solid business. read more

My fiancé and I had to move out of our apartment last minute in the middle of the CoVid shut down. It was such a stressful time. I'm a nurse and I was really worried about moving during the pandemic because I wanted to ensure everything that came in and out of our home was clean and sanitized. However I also hate the thought of wasting packing boxes Bungo box was amazing! Not only did they offer contactless drop off and pick up. The boxes came clean and sanitized. It made moving to much less stressful! Highly recommend them for your move read more

There's no better way to move than with reusable plastic bins and BungoBox was fantastic - great customer service, they arrived exactly when they said they did and when we realized shortly after receiving the boxes that we needed more, they were very accommodating and got us onto the next delivery schedule. Darren was our Rental Specialist at both ends of our move and he was great - he wouldn't even let me help him down with the load when he took them away! Can't say enough good things about this team. read more

BungoBox was absolutely amazing! The staff was great and so easy to work with. They were very reasonable and were able to accommodate us on such short notice. We worked with their client service manager, Irvin, who handled our commercial move. He was extremely professional and made sure that everything ran smoothly. I would never use another a moving company. Everything was done in a timely manner. These guys were amazing and made everything so easy for us. I would definitely recommend them! read more

Bungoboxes is an excellent moving company. They were very organized, they were on time, they did exactly what they said they were going to do. We appreciated their professional response. They worked very hard, they were clean, they were able to get our furniture into tights places with a minimal amount of damage to the walls. We are so glad we chose this moving company. The customer service is highly recommended. Thank you for a job well done! read more

The BungoBox crew moved me twice. The first time was out of my place and into their storage facility where they wrapped and stored my apartment contents for a faster second move into my new place a couple of months later. With the challenging dimensions of my new apartment and my oversize furniture, the team worked to both protect my furniture and the building. They were friendly, honest, and very conscientious. read more

We decided to go with Bungo Box because they were slightly cheaper than Frog Box. I had to call in to adjust the price on my order due to a promotion and Troy was very helpful and told me not to worry about it. The boxes were delivered on time and were clean. Chai was really friendly and he even sent me an email after he picked up my boxes wishing me a good move. I'd definitely use these guys again. read more

I've rented Bungo Box for my last couple moves and it's been amazing! We also go the movers through Bungo Box and there were incredible and fast/efficient. Shawn, Keefer and Keith did an amazing job with the move, we were moved out and in all in 4 hours! I've had terrible movers in the past where it took almost 10 hours for a move so this was definitely the best experience I've had. read more

I booked a moving from north to west vancouver. Let me tell you Irvin the sales manager is a very deceiving person, he first sweet talks with you and get your credit card number and tells you the quote to hook you then at the time of moving he doesn't answer your phone and charges you double, that's what exactly happened to me, be aware of this company. Not trust worthy at all. read more

Cheaper than Frogbox, and they show up when the say they will. The regular boxes are solid, though the wardrobe boxes are fairly flimsy, and were difficult to move while keeping them intact (i.e. not collapsing flat), as they're held together with velcro. Even with a lot of added tape, we still had to be delicate when lifting/moving them. That's my only knock from 5 stars. read more

BungoBox helped my move like I could not believe. They were quick and efficient. The sales rep name was Chai, he was warm helpful and very hands on. Chai who dropped off my boxes gave me good advice to make the move easy and efficient. I also saw he was pleasant and very professional. BungoBox made our moving easy last month and we will surly recommend them. read more

Thank you bungobox so much for helping me with my move. Moving was so smooth and easy. I had to move out of a place with no elevator and Ricky was so helpful and nice even though he had to bring the boxes up 3 floors to my apartment.
