WOW! Don't ever, ever again do a move without Limor and her team!!! I was faced with moving our home and business by myself... while still running my business and everything in between. Limor and her team could not be more efficient, professional and friendly. The team arrived promptly at 8am on a Thursday. Finished packing by 1:30pm. The moving company (BungoBox, they work together like a dream) had me moved in by 5:15pm. Unpacking started at 9am, finished by 1:15pm. Moving boxes picked up by 2pm. AMAZING! I will never do a move again of any kind without Limor and her team! read more

Super efficient, very polite and courteous. At our request, Limor came to our house for a quote. She knew our movers and worked with them regularly, so the trust was established already. The same packers arrived the next day to do the unpacking. They didn't just place items on counters, they asked where we wanted pots, pans, and dishes -- and made decisions independently regarding where things should go when necessary (we were too busy being frazzled)! Would absolutely reach out to work with this company again. :-) read more

Limor and her crew were excellent and efficient. Limor is friendly, helpful and uses her professional experience to help the moving process so much easier. It might sound easy putting stuff into a cardboard box and move them, but if you have piles upon piles of stuff that are either precious memories or useless junk that could fill a decent sized house, its almost impossible to sort it out without her help. I honestly would not have been able to accomplish the move without her help. read more

Vancouver in a Box did a great job - the packers were so good and carefully packed up delicate items from my mom's condo to transport across the country. I highly recommend them! read more

Limor and Virginia were outstanding. Limor was highly responsive answering all my emails before the move, within 5 minutes. Their quote was reasonable and accurate. Their experienced planning and speed made the relatively complex process of moving stress-free. I highly recommend Limor and her team and will be using their company in the future again. read more

Theresa at Vancouver In The Box estimated my goods accurately, was on time, thorough and the team did an amazing job packing up my stuff!! The quote was accurate, detailed and I would highly recommend this company. Unpacking was a breeze too with the detailed labeling system, it was like I lived there for years as everything went right back in the cupboards. I love that they use recyclable sanitized bins and only new cardboard. Oh ... and she even organized the parking for me with the city which was one less thing I had to deal with. Great company! Highly recommend! read more

Quick and efficient. I don't have a lot of stuff, but after a quick video walk through I was given a reasonable quote. Packing day came and went, and I bill was less than expected! Definitely looking for Limor's help next time! (Second time with this company, first in 2016) read more

We needed help to get Kate packed up when her lease was finished and she had come home. Everything was so organized, packed professionally (including packing lists) and shipped or stored perfectly. Couldn't be happier and highly recommend Limor and team read more

Found Vancouver in a box online and booked their services to move a large one-bedroom apartment with packing. They were absolutely awesome and did exactly as advertised. The ladies that did the packing were professional and courteous and did a great job. the movers were great and the whole process was stress free. In 12 hours I was sitting in my new apartment with everything unpacked without me lifting a finger :) Would highly recommend to anyone that needs help packing or just wants to make the whole moving process pain free. read more

Top notch company and experience. We're working professionals with a small child, making moving especially painful. We knew we wanted to use a packing services for a residential move last November. I called a few places, and quickly decided on Vancouver in the Box based on their stellar customer service and Limor's obvious expertise. The packing process was completely painless. Limor's team coordinated all of the packing materials. They arrived the day before our move and packed everything in one hour less than they had estimated. Boxes were logically organized and clearly labeled. When we unpacked things, we discovered how well packed everything was (including delicate things, like China). The cost was as quoted - in the land of moving, a rarity. Absolutely no hesitations in recommending Vancouver in the Box - well worth the cost. read more

Limor from Vancouver in the box is the best in BC. She is not only great at customer service, she also really cares for all her client by going the extra mile. We work very closely with her. We had a great experience with Vancouver in the box, they came in the morning packed up a 3 bed plus house in 6 hours and off they went, No fuss,no issues and of course no hassles. This is the way to move. Let's face it, moving can be hard work, and it can take a lot of time and effort to prepare before the movers even get there to help ensure everything goes smoothly. Not everybody has that time to do that, or they just have better things to do. That's where Limor and her highly trained team and professional packers come in. They're quick, courteous and take the stress out of the prep work so you don't have to worry about it. Whenever we partner up with VITB, we know that things will be ready for us to jump into action on game day. Thanks for helping us hit #homeruns. - Your friends at the Home Run Movers read more

I was feeling very stressed about the move, and decided to look into a packing company to make that part of the process easier. Not only were they incredibly friendly and professional with everything, but they were faster and more cost-effective than I had expected. With a service like this, I will never pack myself again! read more

This service ROCKS! Three people packed my entire 1-bed apt in 5 hours - and packed it well - everything protected by recycled paper and/or bubble wrap. We also used Frogbox which makes it so easy also. I will never pack my own place again! Limor, the owner, responds quickly by email or phone and has all the packing tips. Plus everyone in the moving industry seems to know of her service as well. Reasonably priced. Try it. Youll never buy pizza and beer for your friends to do a half assed job again. (with apologies to the few friends who know how to pack well.) read more

Last minute booking, but wasn't an issue at all. The two very friendly ladies arrived at my studio apartment on time and ready to get my gear packed up:) Done within 3 hours and I was ready to roll:) Highly recommended! (I'm never packing my own stuff again!) read more

I own a small moving company and have been working with Limor and her amazing team for a while now. I always recommend her to my clients when they need help packing. Packing and unpacking went as smoothly as I could have imagined. in the unpacking my drawers became more organized than they were before. Attention to detail was superb. We highly highly recommend this firm for a stress free move! read more

I have nothing but good things to say about Vancouver in the Box. We contracted Limor and her team for a residential move, both packing and unpacking. I was impressed by their professionalism and efficiency, from the initial consultation to the final box. None of our items were broken during the move and their level of organization, down to returning items to the exact shelf of the bookcase where they had originated, was pretty extraordinary. They even set up our printer. Instead of our move taking us three weeks it took us three days -- worth every penny. An additional nod to our packers Kerith (I'm sorry I'm probably spelling your name wrong!) and Elizabeth who were delightful to work with. read more

Can't say enough good things about Vancouver In The Box. A fantastic process from start to finish. I never thought moving could be made so much easier - but Limor and her team pulled it off. On the day of our packing, the team was polite, professional, hard-working, friendly, and very communicative at every step of the process. Every box was packaged with care, and clearly labelled for easy placement and un-packing on the other side. I would not hesitate to use them again, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. read more

Parker Moving and Storage have teamed up for several clients moves with Vancouver in the Box. They are extremely organized and very easy to work with. As the owner of Parker Moving and a customer myself I highly recommend Limor and her crew at Vancouver in the Box to help you organize and pack your belongings prior to your move. Tried to get quotes from 2 moving companys. They both recommended Limor and Vancouver in the box for packing and unpacking services. Limor and her team packed both my business and home. I haven't moved in over 20 years and I won't move again. If I do, I'll contact Limor and her team. Special thanks to Kat for being so organized. read more

Limor and her team are extremely professional, punctual and unbelievably efficient. They saved us dozens of hours of frustrating work, and turned moving from a nightmare into just an ordinary hassle. We've relied on Vancouver In The Box for two moves so far, and we plan on using them again every time we move from now on. read more

We had VITB do both the packing and the unpacking and am I glad! The last time I had unpacking done was with an international van line. They just ripped open the boxes and scattered things everywhere. This was a totally different experience. Everything was placed back exactly where it should be. Clothes, files, food, pots and pans, everything! And given that we were moving from a one level to a four level home, this was no mean feat. All I had to do was pack our bedding the morning of the move (they left the packing materials and labels) and make the bed that evening in our new home. read more

The packing team was very professional, showed up on time and wearing masks. They've done an outstanding job, packed our our things, wrote down the contents on every box and went as far as marking the boxes with color stickers, so the movers should know which box goes where. Will be definitely working with them again next time. read more

I had lived in my tiny 1 bedroom apt for 30 years and love my 'things'. I thought I could do the packing and had movers coming on the Monday. I had lots of boxes and was packing "slowly". I totally underestimated what needed to be done and then became overwhelmed. On Saturday evening I knew I was in deep, deep trouble. I called my mover and he told me to contact Limor. She took pity on me and came after doing another move on Sunday to help me. She and her assistant had me packed in 4 hours. They were very pleasant, very efficient and literally saved my sanity. I would recommend Vancouver in the Box to anyone. Especially older people who think they can still do what they did years ago. However, don't do what I did, Limor might not be available to help you. Contact her and make arrangements for packing your 'things' in a timely manner. read more

I hired Limor and her team for a short-notice and long distance move from Vancouver to Winnipeg. I had used a packing service once before (offered by the moving company) for my move from Winnipeg to Vancouver, and was keen to use one again (it had saved me so much time and stress). I was interested to try Limor's service, as I saw that Frogboxes were an option (which I prefer tremendously over the hassle of cardboard boxes), and because of the great Yelp reviews that spoke about her detail-oriented approach to packing (whereas the moving company I had worked with previously had seemed to just box things up randomly and without organization). Limor was easily reachable via phone and email, and arranged a time for a quote promptly. The quote process was detailed but quick. It was evident that Limor had a lot of experience packing up people's homes. Limor also arranged for the Frogboxes, which were delivered the morning that packing was scheduled to begin. Her team arrived right on time (there were 5 of them, though that included Limor and a new hire that she was training that day, so I suspect that normally there are fewer people). The team was very professional, friendly, and polite. We started with a quick walkthrough making note of anything that wasn't to be packed, and then they got to work. Once it became clear that they were on top of everything, I was able to leave and run some last-minute moving errands (I had zero worries leaving my apartment under the care of the team). The team finished packing up my large, 2-bedroom apartment (including about a million books and textbooks) in about 3 hours - something that would have taken me several days to accomplish on my own. Another bonus of their packing service is that you're covered if something breaks during the move (which of course doesn't happen if you pack things yourself). When I unpacked my boxes a few weeks later in Winnipeg, the detail that went into the packing was clear. TV and stereo cords had been labelled to easily identify which cord went where; bookshelves and dresser drawers had each been numbered with corresponding labels on moving boxes; and delicate items had been bubble wrapped instead of wrapped in newsprint. Everything, including my large wine glass collection, arrived unbroken. Overall, I was really happy with Limor's service, and appreciated that she was quick to reply to emails throughout the process. While Vancouver in the Box isn't cheap, I thought it was fairly priced, and money well spent. I would not hesitate to recommend them! read more

We hired Vancouver in the Box at short notice - when I emailed, Limor immediately arranged to come over the next morning, review our condo and what we wanted done, and provide a quote. She checked in the day before that we were ready to go, arrived on time, and her team of two friendly, smart and efficient packers got to work (Limor supervised, left and then came back to help). They did an excellent job, packed up a small but extremely well-stocked 2brm in just over 5 hours, taking care with fragile items, flat screen TV, glassware, providing helpful suggestions and many supplies I didn't have (I'd managed to get all the boxes off CL but VITB provided the packing paper, tape, etc at a cost). I had to leave early in the process, and came back later to 50+ boxes (with key slipped under the door), what a wonderful service :) Limor gave me a quote and honoured it, even though they went a little over time (I knew that our place was deceptively full!). A few odds and ends like some spice bottles and trivia were left behind but just a minute to throw into a box and we were literally ready to move. We are over the moon that we committed to the cost of hiring packers, and that we used Vancouver in the Box: we had to move during the week and having VITB come the day before the movers arrived meant that we didn't have to spend the weekend or take time off work to pack, let alone stress about it, or be prepared to live with packed things for days/weeks - so it was very easy to rationalise as well as budget the cost. I highly recommend Limor and her team. read more

I hadn't expected to use a local company, since my employer would have fronted the cost to use a national company for my job relocation. However, once I met Theresa, I felt like I would be in such excellent care that I decided to go with Vancouver in the Box. Virginia and Xena, the packers who arrived the day of the move, were outstanding. Such hard workers, and so efficient. They were the assurance I needed on a stressful day. The total cost for using this company was more than reasonable, and they made a detailed list of items that will be useful with the move across a border. read more

Limor and her team were fantastic. When she came to provide a quote, she gave me the option of packing my books myself to shave a couple hundred bucks off the price. Books are easy! It's everything else that takes hours and hours to organize properly.... Materials were delivered a week ahead (exactly as scheduled) and the 3-person moving team arrived on time to the minute. We had exactly the right number and size of boxes, and our entire two-bedroom place was packed in just over three hours. Her employees were pleasant, respectful, and very hard working. And nothing got broken! It's the first time I've used a mover to help me pack and now, looking back, I wish I had hired Vancouver In The Box for all my previous moves! Well worth the cost, which was quite reasonable considering the hours and hours it would have taken me to pack myself, not to mention the stress it saved me. It made moving out the next day an absolute breeze. read more

Moving sucks, but if you focus on stuff only YOU can do and let this company pack, you will be a leg up in life! Let them put your stuff wrapped carefully in BungoBoxes and cardboard, label strategically, pack your art and TVs. You focus on getting rid of crap and catching up all your errands, sewing, drycleaning, electronics recycling, office catchup, address changes, tax and travel, hey, maybe even fit in that workout/yoga/kids' shopping, ie stuff only you can do and outsource stuff they will do better than you! Maybe you are like me and are too old to have friends helping you pack your crap. Let their uniformed, courteous, trustworthy, patient but quick staff methodically tackle your packing. Having stuff properly packed and color labelled saves moving expense too. Limor was great about coming to quote and manage her team for our 3500 sq ft house full of kid debris plus garage. read more

I was referred to Limor and Vancouver in the box from a friend who raced about how easy they made moving. I had to move 2 households, I did one myself and one I had packers do. We were trying to organize a packing and moving company for an August long weekend move, and only Limor and her team were able to come through for us to not only schedule us in for packing, but she also found and arranged a moving company for us! (It was such a relief to us as everyone else we contacted were either booked or never even returned our inquiry.) One of Limor's staff came to our place the same day I contacted her to survey our apartment and give us an estimate. On the day of our move, the team arrived exactly on time and packed up everything efficiently and way ahead of schedule. They were so fast, we were twiddling our thumbs waiting for the movers to arrive! Our only regret was that we wished we also booked them for unpacking, but in unpacking everything ourselves, we were only more impressed with the great job they did to pack everything up so efficiently and safely. Next time we move, we will definitely be calling on Limor and her team again! read more
