Very polite and I am sure he will politely respond here as he did privately. The 1/2 drive charge before and after is a cost that is being added after the fact not in original discussions. (Happened both for packing and move) After my correspondence with him on the extra hours he turned the blame on me that the packing was not done right (unorganized) and the van was parked a bit further away from entry for download. As per packing, his own team were involved in packing majority of our stuff. They spent 5 hours the week before. Furthermore the big portion of our stuff was already stored in their pod since July. Yes They were still many boxes left in our house but very little furniture to move: - piano, dining table, 3 disassembled beds, 1 sofa, 1 coffee table, 2 bed side tables, 2 book shelves, one drawer, 3 chairs , one bbq , one lawn mower and one tv So I still don't get why it cost us this much time and money. Yes we were in unfortunate state that the spot in front was taken. That for sure slowed things down, but not 4-5 hours extra. Yes I made the stupid move to watch my kids around 6 pm instead of watching them for entire time so I let them do the download on their own. Did the download actually took from 3 to 8 pm no breaks?! I would like to believe they were truthful. I tried to resolve this with Kevin privately. . We ageeed that the guys worked hard and took only their claimed 30 min break! I raised the issue of lack of management and proper estimates and that needs to be fixed and for that I need to be compensated. He offered me future discount for a future move !!!! (Which basically is a very pretend polite way of dismissing me) I moved with this company 20'years ago. I was happy enough. That's why I went to them this time. But I will never recommend them again as it will turn to be very costly.

They worked efficiently and did a mean job of Tetris to get everything into the truck. Had a 90 mile drive but they made good time and unloaded quickly helping us get everything organized in a storage unit to just the way we wanted it. We appreciated their professionalism, cheerful demeanor, good sense of humor and hard work! And Dom was great to work with to get everything scheduled and confirmed! 10 out of 10, would use them again!

These guys seemed like a good choice ... until moving day arrived! I wish I had read the other…read morereviews on this company before I decided to book them. I would strongly recommend against using them! For the small difference in price with some other moving companies it was definitely not worth it, and the move for a 2 BR apartment, which I was told would take 4 hours took over 6 hours, so I ended up paying quite a bit more for the "economy" movers than I would have for a high end company - who would have gotten the job done right and not damaged my furniture. Multiple pieces of furniture were damaged in the move and when I pointed it out on moving day, the answer was "oh well that's old anyway". Furniture items that have been in the family over 50 years and have managed to not get damaged! On moving day, I spoke to Paul and he said he would send someone out to fix the damaged furniture. Now, 4 weeks later, he says that their contract didn't cover pressboard or Ikea furniture damage, so he's not going to do anything about it. (Doesn't say that anywhere in their contract!) I also found out after they left that they had smashed in a corner of my boxspring mattress, making it necessary for me to spend money on a new one, as well as bending an old brass lamp that can now no longer be used - also a family heirloom. Their carelessness in the move as well as taking 2 hrs longer than they said they would, plus leaving some mirrors behind at the old place that I specifically asked if they could move, and was told yes they could, makes me give this very poor review.
