One of the worse experiences I have ever had. They showed up hours late so i missed my elevator slot and got billed by my strata this was a morning booking also the first job of the day!!!!. Because they were so late the elevator on the other end had to go to other movers and we had to wait almost 5 hours before i could finished my move. THEY BILLED ME FOR EVERYTHING!!! Even their mistakes i was quoted 6-8 hour job ranging from $570-$760 but with everything that went wrong it took us 14 hours to move in and they handed me a bill for $1396.50! I have no clue to why I was forced to pay the additional 5 hours they left and said they would come back showed up with food and drinks almost 5 hours later. I'm absolutely horrified and will probably never use movers again its just not worth it i think getting a rental and having friends help is the best option just put me off from ever hiring another mover again such a poor experience. To top it all off when i tried to discuss the inflated bill they owner became very irate and a bit scary to be honest so i just decided to pay him. read more

my husband and I hired Scott and Lions Gate Moving to do a two level move for us from North Vancouver in May 2021, with an original pick up in Mission from a storage unit, back to North Vancouver to pack our things, and on to Vernon. Scott and his crew were amazing! Scott's lead man and crew picked up the smaller portion in Mission, then came to North Vancouver to pack up our townhome. Scott's lead man knew how to organize, and fill the moving van up without any worries to us. There were a few plants that couldn't be put into the moving van so Scott came the next morning at 6:00 a.m. with a small van and loaded the rest, at no cost to us! When my husband and I arrived in Vernon the next day, the crew was already waiting for us in the driveway. Very efficient; nothing damaged; and such a positive and fun attitude! We love Lions Gate Moving, and we love Scott :) read more

Lions Gate Moving North Vancouver moved my sister to an Assisted Living Residence in West Vancouver very efficiently and professionally! They arrived exactly on time, surveyed what needed to be moved and quickly completed the move. They knew exactly what needed to be done and did it very efficiently. Everything was done carefully and all property was moved without any damage to the articles, walls or elevators and packed securely in their truck. Sean and his team were not only competent, hard workers but very thoughtful, personable and humorous. The move was done well within the minimum time charge and there were no surprises or hidden charges. Their charge for the move was very reasonable and fair, particularly in comparison to their competition. We were absolutely delighted with the service, would not use anyone else in the future and highly recommend! read more

Scott and his team helped us move from North Vancouver to Powell River, BC.  We had a big house with 21 years of stuff and everything had to go with us. From our perspective, the move went just about as well as a move could possibly go.  Given that our move was over 2 different days and our destination was 2 ferries away, things went as close to plan as one could realistically expect.  The Lions Gate team was great. The cost was fair.  As best I can tell at this point, the only collateral damage was a couple of flower pots that my wife packed.  ;-) Thank you so much, Scott.  If I have to move back to the city, Lions Gate Moving will be the first place I call! read more

These guys are awesome. They responded to my email right away and also called the day before the move just to confirm the address, time etc.. Both of them took great care with our furniture and wrapped mirrors, glass etc. They also saran wrapped 2 dressers with full drawers. (we hadn't packed any of the clothing in the drawers). All in all it was a great move. So nice to have have help from professional, personable and trustworthy individuals. I liked them so much I bought them lunch! It was from McDonalds but what the heck, it's the thought that counts right? read more

We had Lions Gate Moving pick up a piano and deliver it to our home. They wrapped it well so it was fully protected (cling wrap, blankets & more cling wrap) and used a special wheeled thing to slide it ever so carefully. Showed up right on time with 3 guys. They were very responsive, punctual, professional and really nice. Owner even played a great song for us all (complete with a dance at the end) after placing the piano. Highly recommend and will definitely use them for any future moving needs! read more
