I still try to comprehend why we went from roughly 8 hours estimate to pack and download to 13.5 hours. Multiply that by 250$ Kevin the owner is not good at providing proper estimates. Very polite and I am sure he will politely respond here as he did privately. The 1/2 drive charge before and after is a cost that is being added after the fact not in original discussions. (Happened both for packing and move) After my correspondence with him on the extra hours he turned the blame on me that the packing was not done right (unorganized) and the van was parked a bit further away from entry for download. As per packing, his own team were involved in packing majority of our stuff. They spent 5 hours the week before. Furthermore the big portion of our stuff was already stored in their pod since July. Yes They were still many boxes left in our house but very little furniture to move: - piano, dining table, 3 disassembled beds, 1 sofa, 1 coffee table, 2 bed side tables, 2 book shelves, one drawer, 3 chairs , one bbq , one lawn mower and one tv So I still don't get why it cost us this much time and money. Yes we were in unfortunate state that the spot in front was taken. That for sure slowed things down, but not 4-5 hours extra. Yes I made the stupid move to watch my kids around 6 pm instead of watching them for entire time so I let them do the download on their own. Did the download actually took from 3 to 8 pm no breaks?! I would like to believe they were truthful. I tried to resolve this with Kevin privately. . We ageeed that the guys worked hard and took only their claimed 30 min break! I raised the issue of lack of management and proper estimates and that needs to be fixed and for that I need to be compensated. He offered me future discount for a future move !!!! (Which basically is a very pretend polite way of dismissing me) I moved with this company 20'years ago. I was happy enough. That's why I went to them this time. But I will never recommend them again as it will turn to be very costly. read more

I would recommend them. Although they don't have professional packers, some warehouse guys for packing but they did ok with packing and good with loading the stuff in their boxes. But I can't blame them as it was a last minute call to get them do this job. Came right on time for loading and delivery as well. Unloaded and to my surprise, nothing was broken and nothing was missing (as mentioned in previous comments). Cost of moving from BC to Seattle was reasonable. All togather I would recommend them! These guys moved us from Coquitlam to Nanaimo Vancouver Island. I cannot say enough about this company. They were all day waiting for a ferry that they had a reservation for ! They were treated VERY badly at terminal and they were there 7:30 am to 2pm. It was such a hot day as well. They finally arrived and only took 2 hours to unload. I used Ah so Easy twice, my first experience was ok, no problems. The second time however was a nightmare. I called to schedule the delivery of my storage box, I specifically told the agent that there was no working doorbell so to knock loudly at the specified time. I was constantly looking out the window every few minutes to ensure I did not miss the driver and was listening intently for the knock. The driver arrived 30 minutes late, I hear the knock and immediately run down the flight of stairs. I might have been 1 minute at most. However the driver was already back in his truck and starting to drive away. I yelled and began chasing after the truck, I cannot imagine how he did not hear me i was RIGHT behind him maybe 10 feet. But, no he didn't stop and there was my stuff driving away back to the Delta location. I understand they are busy but could the driver really not wait more than 60 seconds before leaving? I called and was rudely told I would have to pay over $100 to have the driver come back "when it worked for them". I even went to the location to try to reason with them and no luck, when they have all your furniture, bed etc they have you hostage and will use that to take advantage of their customers financially....use this company at your own risk. My husband and I moved from a house with a garage into a loft apartment downtown. Our new home didn't have enough space for all our sports equipment, outdoor furniture, Christmas decorations and camping gear. Aaaaah-So Easy mobile storage units was the perfect solution for us. And so glad I did! Fabulous customer service from the start. And the pod delivery crew was fun, helpful, and just great all around. Unprofessional and Irresponsible They packed and moved our things from our townhome on January 10. One of the movers disassembled our queen bed in our master's bedroom. The mover assured me that they would keep the hardware and they reassemble when we move to our new home. On May 2 was our moving day, the movers could not find the hardware for our bed. They lost it. We ended up spending the evening looking for the hardware, instead of organizing and settling in our house with a baby. We found the hardware eventually and we tried contacting Kevin numerous times to see if he could help us out and he dismissed us. He disregarded all of our concerns, promising that he would call back but he never did. In addition, he sent us an invoice of how much we owed him for storage which we paid off right away. We asked for receipts as proof that he got it since it was a lot of money, but didn't send us a receipt for the exact amount we paid for. When we asked him for the complete receipt, he replied with "It's month end I'm sleeping one or two hours a night it's on my list", and he still didn't send it after that. This response is rude, unacceptable and unprofessional!!! Why do we have to chase him for this receipt when it should be his responsibility regardless of his sleepless night which we honestly don't really care about. Do not book this company or you're just going to suffer. Moving is already so stressful so look for company who's reliable, professional, considerate, and polite, this company is not! read more

AH SO EASY MOVING AND STORAGE packed my home on 18/01/2021 and delivered on 10/04/2021 (supposed to be 08/04/2021 but they had a last minute issue). they arrived over 3 hours late in january (hadn't even scheduled guys to work for me that day) and it took 3 guys over 6 hours to pack the truck. imagine how angry everyone in my building was with me moving from 11:00 until after 18:00! ::::::: i had to pay 15 hours of transit time (2 guys from vancouver to vancouver island) on top of the unpacking time. i was absolutely fascinated when i paid for 3 guys and over 6 hours of work each (18+ hours total) on the pack up ... and 2 guys at a flat rate (they took 2 hours). 18 vs 4 hours!!! it was the exact same stuff! and the quick move had stairs. don't waste your money with AH SO EASY MOVING AND STORAGE as you can get just about any other moving company for a better deal. :::::::: AH SO EASY MOVING AND STORAGE accepted $600 from me for insurance of my belongings. they assured me that the insurance covered all damage and missing items. one guy carried things so stacked up that the pile was about a metre above his head. as expected, he dropped several items smashing them and rendering them useless. nothing that broke was fragile ... a metal pot with an enormous dent in the side, large scrape on a cabinet, smashed dresser drawers etc. etc. AH SO EASY MOVING AND STORAGE did not treat me or my belongings with the respect they deserved. i felt that AH SO EASY MOVING AND STORAGE staff did not care about doing a good job. ::::::::: at wits end, after 4 months of trying to work with AH SO EASY MOVING AND STORAGE to close my insurance claim with them, i posted a truthful review on bbb.org. within 10 minutes of the review going live i received and email from AH SO EASY MOVING AND STORAGE's insurer (valuation claims) saying: "Sorry your chain [sic] has been closed, please remove your negative review and we can reopen your clAim [sic]" so i took the review down and emailed them saying it was down and will they please resolve my claim within the next 2 days. that passed. :::::::: when i posted my online review AH SO EASY MOVING AND STORAGE messaged me within 20 minutes declaring my claim file had been closed. if i removed my review they would open it again. seriously??? this isn't even legal to do!!! ::::::::: so, because i wanted this resolved, i gave AH SO EASY MOVING AND STORAGE another chance and in the several weeks since ... they wasted my time sending messages saying i would have my money within 7 days ... almost every time taking an unrealistic and with non specific amounts. "Your claim has been approved for the $700 you have asked for minus the deductible" ... yay! not so much ... finally, it appeared that AH SO EASY MOVING AND STORAGE might honour my totally legitimate claim only to drop off the planet. :::::::: ultimately, AH SO EASY MOVING AND STORAGE would only give me money if "You [sic] agree not to discuss our company in any way; Either written or verbal communication and will not file any future claim. You also agree none of your friends, associates or acquaintances will  do the same on your behalf. Any negative reviews you have already written will be removed. If this is not the case you agree to return the full amount and pay triple the settlement for any breach of this ndc." again, this is not a legitimate threat. just fear mongering to keep my truth away from potential future customers. :::::::: so ... no pay = all the reviews i can find a place for to warn people that AH SO EASY MOVING AND STORAGE is an unscrupulous company. i highly DO NOT recommend using AH SO EASY MOVING AND STORAGE and know that AH SO EASY MOVING AND STORAGE has not honoured their legal agreement with me regarding their insurance. ::::::: these are my experiences with AH SO EASY MOVING AND STORAGE from january until september 2021. i wish you well in your future moving and storage needs and trust that you found this review of use. read more

They were on time, were extremely well organized and the crew chief especially showed lots of experience, and actually saved me some money by packing the containers so skillfully as to not need an additional third unit. So I've finally liberated my things from storage, and despite the absolute nightmare that is unpacking and getting settled in a new space, Aaaaaaaaah So Easy definitely made a highly unpleasant task at least marginally more tolerable. The staff I dealt with there are all wonderful: the delightful combination of both friendly and helpful that is the be all and end all of customer service. I was able to arrange my redelivery without any problems, and my storage container arrived in a very timely fashion. All of my things were no worse for wear, and the container was whisked away the next day -- with a courtesy call in the afternoon the day prior, of course, to let me know when I could expect the emptied container to be picked up. Extremely convenient! the personnel was always helpful and nice, price was right and all my belongings were in perfect condition - no mold or bugs. The only downside was the re-delivery, the guy called us a day prior to confirm the time, but he was more than an hour late, we were getting nervous but it all ended up fine.... definitely recommend it read more
