We had a hankerin' for some Korean food before we left Orlando. We (our tummies) are so happy we ended up here for lunch. The staff is super nice and very attentive to their diners. The inside is quaint and clean. Not a huge dining room, so it isn't too noisy when trying to have a conversation. We ordered Bulgogi Mando, Dolsot Bibimbap with beef, and a pork bulgogi entree. As one can see in the video, everything came out sizzling and piping hot. The portions were generous. We were stuffed when we left. Just because this is a little spot in the Chinatown strip mall, do not pass up an opportunity to have some delicious Korean food. We will visit next time we are in Orlando. read more

They have items for in all price ranges. Today I ordered the Japchae (item H). Glass noodles with stir fry veggies. It was a great dish and I'm glad I tried it. A couple times a year, I get absolutely dumbstruck and shocked with how far a place blows my expectations out of the water. BBB Tofu House left me absolutely speechless and wanting to order much more than we did, and we actually ordered a ton of food for only two people. The outside ambiance of this place is very unsuspecting. It's in a poorly lit strip mall in the Pine Hills area of town. Various furniture stores and other Asian restaurants and questionable wellness spas dot the mall, but inside, this place was beautiful. It was like a ruby encrusted coy pond, gently playing K-pop in the background. Very cozy. The service was incredible. These folks were so nice and patient with me as I asked them questions about many menu items, wanting to make sure I ordered the right things. The food came out at a very reasonable pace, too. Everything was hot and fresh and delicious. And the food, it was wow. Absolutely exquisite. Started off with the Bulgogi Mandu (Beef; 5 Pieces). These are a fried Korean dumplings, and the thing about mandu is that they are probably the dumpling with the most filling packed into it. A massive amount of delicious beef filling, a crispy wrapper with a fun little crimping for texture, and a nice, subtle sesame-type sauce. Very good. I also had the Tteok-bokki, my favorite Korean appetizer. It is a chewy, cylinder-shaped rice cakes (tteok) simmered in a spicy, sweet, and savory sauce. And it was delicious. It was also the largest serving I've ever encountered, so it got kind of one-note. I recommend paying the upcharge for the Add Cheese. Then onto the Seafood Pancake. Look at this dang thing in my picture. One of the best things man has ever created. An intricately crispy outer layer of some sort of dough, containing within a cheesy blend of seafoods, all sliced up like a pizza and coming with that same sesame sauce for dipping. This was Super Bowl food, my goodness. I got the Galbi (BBQ Short Ribs), which is another Korean staple. Very mainstream, but for good reason. These short ribs are sliced crosswise, slicing up those muscle fibers, and leaving behind thin layers of delicious, tender beef. Being sliced so thinly also lends itself well to soaking up the marinade very good. So delicious. I finished off with the, here we go, the main event, Dolpan Kimchi Bokkeum Bap (Kimchi Fried Rice) (Kimchi, Beef, Peas, Corn, Carrots and Onion topped with Cheese). They'll ask you if you want the egg. Say yes. This magnificent creature comes to you as a mound of rice in a screaming hot stone bowl, with the cheese kept away from it. Tableside, the man cracks an egg on the whole thing, and then mixes the heck out of all of it, allowing the egg to cook and the cheese to melt. He then spreads it all out against the stone bowl, maximizing touched surface area, creating a crispy cheesy rice crust along the bottom of the bowl, making every bite amazing. You read all that right. And it was one of the best meals of my life not at a Michelin restaurant. I'm actually going to petition this place as a Bib Gourmand. It was that high quality. After a stop at HMart we wanted some korean food and found this gem. I had never had sundubu before and i am so glad that i decided to get it. The staff and team that work there are extremely kind and inviting. So first off the Sundubu. It has turned into one of my top two favorite soups to eat with beef and that delicate tofu. You can get this dish as spicy or as mild as you want it. Of course i love my spice so i always get it spicy=] it comes bubbling hot in a hot bowl that keeps the dish fire all the way to the last drop. The broth is so flavorful and spicy it warms the soul. It somes with an egg that you crack yourself over this molten lava of a dish to mix in and cook. The tofu soaks in the flavors of the broth and takes on a really nice texture. This over some white rice- chefs kiss for me=] i cant say enough about this dish and since my first visit i have lost count of how many times we have returned. This place is a warm and cozy spot for some great service and delicious food. We also got the bibimbap. I knew right from the start after my wife took a bite she was in heaven. It was just what the doctor ordered for a long day where some comfort food was needed. The fresh veggies, a little crispy rice as you allow it to sizzle, and a runny egg... its her favorite. This is now my spot. I come here every time I need a fix of Korean food. I get the same thing every time . The combo with the soondubu and galbi and a barley tea. It hits every time. This time we brought more folks with us and also tried the fried chicken bites, and the seafood pancake. Both winners and the seafood pancake was the best and crispiest I ever had. The environment is warm and homey. The service is great. Everyone is friendly and genuine. This place is such a cute, cozy little Korean resturant in China town. I was craving a nice bowl of hot broth since it's been cold and BBB Tofo House did not disappoint. This was my second time coming back for this soul warming dish. I do think it tasted a little better the first time, but I think it's because I got it spicier. (And I love spicy food!) I also tried the Squid Salad previously and OMG it was the greatest squid i've had in a while! So fresh! And the sauce was a perfect balance of sweet, nutty, vinegar and savory. The side dishes known as banchan are endless refills, and the quality is so delicious!! I believe they rotate them seasonally too because they didnt have mushrooms last time. The staff is very friendly, but since I didnt have someone check in with me early on I didnt't get a chance to try the Soju. I suppose I'll have to just go back and try the rest of the menu! Whenever I'm feeling the craving for some good Korean food but don't want to stuff myself with an AYCE Kbbq... I come here! Located in west colonial "China Town" strip mall, it has become our family's go-to and have been coming for years! I'm so late writing this. They have the best Soon Tofu soup! I usually get the galbi version and when I'm feeling extra, I'll get it with the ramen. It's so comforting and delicious. My other favorite order is the Dolpan Kimchi Bokkeum Bap. Kimchi fried rice served table side in a sizzling plate with cheese! It's big enough to share. I like to let it sit a bit to get the rice and cheese a little crispy. The staff is super friendly and love to see Kevin, the chef and owner pop his head out and greet us! Everyone makes us feel like we are eating at their home with their warm hospitality. I left a review on google about my not so good experience and have an update from management. Instead of acknowledging my bad experience personally, the server and manager(?) confronted my friend (who I dined with and paid for my meal) and they talked about my bad review i left on google. Instead of remaking my soup (that i was allergic to) or apologizing, they wasted time on a bad review they have no intention on fixing. I didn't want to post a bad review, I just wanted to eat soup I wasn't allergic to. I didn't want to post two bad reviews but you didn't remake my soup and now you called my friend out on my bad review. After you guys refused to remake my soup, the server was too embarrassed to attend to our table so we didn't really get serviced. He was so embarrassed the table next to us got no service as well. The whole time I was trying to get my soup remade, the table next to us couldn't get any help (basically the whole time they were there) and they were getting visibly annoyed. what you should do is change your menu to state the soup has seafood in it and to let the server know if anyone has any allergies. Make sure the servers ask if anyone has any allergies and not "Your ok with everything in it?" And if someone has an allergy to remake their food. read more

This is hands down one of my favorite places to eat in Orlando! I was introduced to this place a few years ago and I've come back many times since then. The food here is amazing and I particularly like the fried tofu and cheese buldak; the sauce on the tofu has a slight sweetness to it that compliments it well and the texture of the rice cake in the buldak is delicious. The kimchi fried rice is super good too, I like to leave it cooking a bit longer to let the bottom get crunchy -- it adds great texture! I've always had a great experience whenever I come here. Aside from their food, the workers are very nice here and are helpful. There are many seats available in the restaurant and I've never had to wait to get seated so far! Our friends took us here and it was all delicious. We got the Bulgogi and SoonDuBoo (SDB) combo (Spicy) which was a great deal considering most places charge $28 just for the Bulgogi nowadays. The dumplings in the soup were Chicken and Cilantro, which was okay, I think I would pick a different SDB next time, maybe Kimchi or Beef. But overall, we enjoyed our meal very much! I didn't get a chance to try the Galbi or no spice SDB but was great for the kids. The service was excellent and Spicy was pretty spicy (perfect for me). Though the prices may be higher than in other places, the quality of the food speaks for itself. If it is your first time, I recommend ordering kimchi fried rice. It is always made fresh to order in front of you with egg and cheese (you may always ask them to exclude the items if you are allergic). The soups are very flavorful and also filled with seafood. Each soup comes with a raw egg you can crack into the soup, and every order comes with side dishes to compliment the entrée. A safe option I always recommend would be the Bulgolgi dinner. The food was authentic Korean food. This restaurant reminded me of BCD Tofu in California where I first had Korean food. The galbi was extraordinary and I also ordered the large kimchi ramyon. The server that we had was fantastic. He explained each item to us to ensure we knew what we were getting. Example what made the dish extra spicy. He told me that Carolina reaper went in extra spicy. The restaurant itself was quiet. There weren't many customers when we were there; however, it was early so I'm sure they were busy as the day went on. As someone who lived in South Korea for 5 months, the food is decent. We ordered the galbi entree but it isn't as flavorful as I've hoped. As for the bibimbap, it's not the best I've had. The kimchi fried rice is very presentable, comes with cheese on top and eggs around, not bad. However, the seafood pancake is the best one that I've tried in Orlando so far. It comes with crab and shrimp, it has a crunchy outer layers made from onions. The kimchi soup with rice, was my favorite of all. It came with beef and tofu. Inside, you definitely get the feel of being in a Korean restaurant. They play the classic kdrama music that will get you the feels. This is my second time here but not sure if I will be back. The fried tofu and the spicy pork bulgogi were a hit at our table. I took my parents for their first Korean meal. My mom was obsessed with the fried tofu and said she never knew tofu could be so good. I initially got the Jjajangmyeon special but it was really to the level I was use to having so they helped and got me the spicy pork bulgogi instead and it was wonderful. So flavorful and the caramelized onions was a great combo served with white rice. My father enjoyed the same plus spicy combo soup filled with a great portion of shrimp, beef, and other seafood in a spicy broth. Very good choice. And my mom enjoyed japchae with chicken on top. OK I have to give this place my highest honors I personally can give not only was their food on point but they took care of all their customers with care and without hesitation took care of someone in need. One of my new friends recommended this restaurant when we wanted to grab a bite after a Disney attraction preview one night. It's in the same plaza as many other businesses that offer different varieties of Asian food. There is plenty of parking when we went in the evening - I sense this plaza used to house large markets/grocery stores but closed and other businesses took up the plaza. There was no wait when we went around 7-8 PM at night and we were seated right away. Staff put out the banchan (side dishes) before getting water for us. We ordered soft tofu soup in their spicy level and shared the bulgogi. (I got the beef rib and my friend ordered seafood.) My friend almost went with their highest spice level but the waiter warned they do not swap out the dishes if you try it and determine it's too spicy. (Especially if you've never tried their spicy level before.) To err on the side of caution, she went with the spicy level and said she could always try the highest level the next time. Food came out very quickly - think it took 10 minutes max. Spicy level was perfect without being over the top. Bulgogi was well seasoned without being too salty. Tofu soup had plenty of soft tofu chunks in it and the ribs were huge. (Bones were still attached and I sometimes did have some struggles with removing the meat from the bone without making a mess, but it was all good.) The location is a small place - probably best to visit during a non-peak time if you want to avoid waiting too long or being in a super packed restaurant. They play random K-pop videos on the screen behind the register too, which can be fun to watch from time to time. I would come back here again. read more

I enjoyed the food at this restaurant. Arrived shortly after it opened for dinner with a small group, including a toddler and infant. The hosts were very happy to see the kids and very accommodating! We ordered the fried tofu and the K-pop chicken as appetizers, both were excellent and were fairly large portions, a good value for the $, and they were almost a meal themselves. For our main course, my wife ordered the seafood tofu soup which was perfectly spicy with shrimp and clams,(she had them remove the oysters). The savory seafood in a spicy broth was delicious. I had the tofu salad, which had an umami flavor that makes me want to go back asap. The fresh tofu is on a bed of a spring mix-like salad topped with nori strips and in a marinade that is so unique. It had such a great flavor and is enough for several people. The food was tasty, healthy and nutritious. I did not try the sake or soju on the menu with my meal but I will the next time I go.
