Waited almost an HOUR for our order, it didn't even seem busy inside when we arrived but I think they said they were backed up on orders. The food itself = scrumptious. I got the Original Boneless for the crispiness, and my bf got the Galbi Boneless. The Galbi sauce was saucing (strong in flavor), but wasn't really for me. I liked that the Honey Garlic was more subtle. Wish there were more side sauces offered, but the Original & Black Pepper at least were good enough by themselves. Finally got to try this place. Tried the 8 pc honey garlic and 8 pc golden original boneless wings and they were really good. The chicken is pretty expensive, but they were a decent size and they were really tasty. Nice flavor and texture and they go really well with the little radishes they give you. Food takes a while to prepare, so I'd say call in your order or be prepared to wait 20-30 minutes. Again, one of the better tasting chicken places I have been to, but just wish it wasn't so expensive. service is the best, the chicken is always cooked to order! my boyfriend loves the rose tteokbokki and i like the honey garlic chicken. the chicken is always super crispy, juicy and so flavorful. the tteokbokki has a nice spice, but still an enjoyable spice. the fishcakes absorbed the sauce well and the additions to the tteokbokki was a really nice texture. the store itself is a little small with limited seating, but it's a good place to sit while you wait for your order when there's no one at the tables. read more

Giving this place a 3 stars because the food was great but the service time is too long. I order the rose tteokbokki my daughter order the galbi chicken. Both were delicious. I would have given them 5 star for the food. But we waited for our simple two items for 30 minutes when there were only very few customers ahead of us! I think that's too long for this kind of place. Edit: I must add that, most of the time while we are eating the cashier counter has no employees. I don't think it's good for any business to have no staff at the counter. No matter how under staffed it is, there should be at least one staff at the counter to greet people, take order, assure customers (us) that food is coming up. read more

Takeout Korean fried chicken spot with family packages. Came here on a Saturday evening and ordered takeout at the counter. They do have an online ordering option if you want to save some time. It took about 25 minutes for the food to be prepared, but we just went to TJ Maxx for some shopping while we waited. We got the spicy as well as original option - the chicken stayed crispy even after the car ride home and I liked the flavor. The fries were $5.99 and nothing special. They gave us a free thing of radish on the side. Credit cards accepted. Parking is available in the lot. There's no indoor seating but there are a couple of outdoor seating tables. I'm so glad that they opened one here in Walnut! If you watched the Korean drama of "Crash Landing On You", there was a scene that the actress Son Ye-Jin was eating fried chicken, and it was bb.q chicken!!! I was craving for it when I watched that drama. bb.q chicken was founded in Korea and it became popular in Asia since then. I got the honey garlic chicken 6 pcs lunch combo with fries and a drink, and a cole slaw side order. It took about 20 minutues for our to go order. The honey garlic chicken was so cripsy outside and the chicken meat was juicy and tender. The fries and cole slaw were not bad but my main focus was the fried chicken. I have been waiting for this place to open so I could give it a try and it didn't disappoint! I was unable to order online so I called in to order a boneless combo lunch special. The girl who answered was super friendly and said my food would be ready in 15-20 minutes but when I arrived to pay 10 minutes later, she came out of the kitchen with my order. Yay! The dining area is on the smaller side, enough table seating for 4 people, and couch/lounge seating on the other side of the shop for another 4-6 (depending on how close together you want to sit)! The boneless combo is $11.99 and comes with 6 pieces of chicken, french fries (upgrade to sweet potato fries for $1), and a can of soda or water. I decided to try the Secret Spicy flavor. It was soo good! Juicy chicken enveloped in a crunchy crust and covered in a sweet, spicy, and garlicky sauce - the flavors I love. Yum yum! The fries were fresh and crispy as well. TBH, the wings are on the pricier side ($14.99 for 8 wings), so I definitely appreciate the lunch special even though it wasn't the regular wings. It was delicious all the same. Customer service is pretty terrible here. The person at the register doesn't speak English and has no idea how to speak to customers appropriately or how to handle questions or complaints. On two different occasions I've watched her stare blankly and then nod frantically instead of being able to clearly answer customer. From the back house you can hear inappropriate music (for a business) blaring and whoever is back there yelling loudly back and forth banter. The chicken itself, sometimes great sometimes questionable. I would say this place is suffering from employing unqualified and unprofessional people.
