I don't like to review on service but this one I had to leave a review based on my experience. I know sometimes chicken can take time so I placed a phone order and was told to come pick it up on 30 minutes. So we walk in and checked in with the server she said our order was not ready so we sat inside the store. But yelp had texted me as soon as we sat down that our order was ready but the girl said the order that came out was not ours when I got up to show her my text. So we continued to wait 45 minutes for our food and at this point everyone who was there before and came in after us had left. I just couldn't wait any longer because I was ready to cancel if the order wasn't ready to leave and get something else. Turns out that the order that I saw that sat on top of the counter was OURS. She misread the order somehow and didn't give us our order and our food sat there for 45 minutes after I got up again to recheck with the server. I was so upset and definitely will not return to this place for our future chicken runs. Service and their response is horrible, no training or common sense as to basic customer service. Mistakes happen, no big deal. Messed up an order, you just acknowledge it, own it and offer to make it right, especially if I order togo, drive home and have to drive back and takes over an 1 hr 30 for this whole process. This used to be my favorite Korean fried chicken place until I tried out this location. On that day, i only had one meal which was the honey garlic chicken. (Since I was so busy studying for finals.) However, on one of the pieces, I found a couple of spotted worms that was cooked. I thought they were probably dead through being fried but I got food poisoning the next day. Perhaps they were dead, but the worms being there would entail a different story. Maybe the chicken they had was so old that worms started to eat it? I could not do anything and stayed in bed for almost 2 days and called the place about my experience. I was very upset since I had finals this week and could not study for two whole days. I was told I would get a call back from the manager since the manager was not there but never received one. The employee knew I was very sick when I called because they could not even hear my phone number properly when I recited it. I had to recite it a couple times. The fried chicken here is honestly delicious -- crispy, flavorful, and exactly the kind I enjoy. I keep coming back because of the quality of the food. However, the service really needs improvement. It often feels like the staff are either overwhelmed or lack the patience to serve properly. Several times I've come to pick up food and found missing utensils, and even straws were not included -- despite ordering a Coke. Service was average like most places. Walked in to no front employee so had to ring the bell for attention. Honestly.. i think it's dangerous not having someone at the front of the store. Anyone can walk in, steal something, trash the place, anything. Maybe they have LIVE cameras in the back, who knows. A tad bit dry since there's no flavor really, but the cold 무 always helps wash it down. The french fries and sweet potato fries are worth the value imo. The quantity for that price plus it's been crunchy every time I order makes me enjoy the meal. Worth it. The flavor was ok, not especially unique, but the grease... it had an odd odor reminiscent of a highly refined vegetable oil, something like Wesson vegetable oil that I remember from childhood. Not a pleasant memory, and something that I'm now sorry that I chose to eat. I would not order this again. Wow this place is highly unprofessional. There were two people standing in the front of house a boy and a girl. They made eye contact but there was no greeting. The front of house were hardly helpful. The boy went to the back and came back out eating a French fry. Another customer walked in and as he was talking to the customer he ate the French fry right in front of the customers face! I am so shocked! The girl then comes out a few mins later and starts talking to the boy about her tik tok. There were no table touches or asking if they can bring us water, or service of any kind. The store itself needs a refresh. There are pieces of the packaging stuck to the table and the store has no AC. We are the only customers here so far and I can see why. This will be my first and last time at this location. I hope they can really get this place up and running. As someone who works in the food industry, I am extremely disappointed.
