5 stars yes 5 stars!!! There is not one thing I could fault with this fab little chic eatery!!! Oh wow it was all so amazing from the location, the furniture, the view and ambience!!! We went here on Wednesday around 1ish and it was busy but not too busy!! That nice busy where u don't feel awkward and weird eating and chatting!!! (I know u get me) So, the food.... Oh wow the food!!! I had the pork belly & pulled pork slider with sweet potato fries! Yikes it was all just so yum!!! Not like the typical Bbq pulled pork that every place in Dublin is cooking up at the mo! It was just so tasty and succulent without being overbearing in sauce!!! Himself had the sirloin steak with fries and a brandy, peppercorn and raisin sauce!! The steak (which I tasted obvs) was like a perfectly cooked medium with a delicious taste of smoked chargrilled Bbq off it! Wow just wow!!! And the sauce was just so tasty and funky and different! not your typical pepper steak sauce, it was just so yum!!! For dessert I went for the banoffe and himself went for the raspberry and lemon meringue tart! Oh crap I wanna eat them both again NOW!!! They were both just so so tasty and freshly cooked! None of this pre made, sliced off a readymade cake it was all fresh and served perfectly!!! (The pics will make you drool) I wouldn't even say u have to live near here to try it! I'd say make the journey and do not let this place be missed!!! It's a little gem of an eatery!!!!

I've spent good few dinners at Bay this summer, and the last... Is just so relaxing sitting outside and have wonderful food, nice wine... Or a nice tea! You are practically in front of the sea. My dogs always come with me haha ! Menu... Very tasteful. Obviously fish is my first option, The Baked Hake is my favourite. They have organic and healthy options, but in general everything is good. They have nice deserts but my number 1 is the mango sorbet. Parking can be a little bit painful sometimes...

Sorry, I had great expectations about this place, maybe I visited the place during a busy time, it was new year's eve, the service was terrible, we were waiting for a table but some people came after us and was seated and served first... Food was delicious, well presented, so tasty, I loved my pasta with prawns, however, after we finished our meal the waiter took so long to come back that we just ended up paying the bill, which was a shame because I wanted to try their dessert. I might come back one day... Or maybe not.

ituated on the main Clontarf Road, Bay has a longstanding reputation for really great food. I'd been before for coffee and scones and really liked the place so was looking forward to trying out the full evening menu. It was a dismal Autumn day and this paired with the road works outside didn't offer the best view from our table in the terrace area, however the little touches made it cosy and I did enjoy sitting here instead of inside. The menu is pretty extensive and certainly offers something to please everyone. I was torn between the Burrata and the Wild Mushroom Bruschetta and had I still been a meat eater the chicken wings would have been a definite! We ended up going for the Burrata with pesto and a rocket salad (€8) and the Scallop Satay with Tiger Prawns (€9). Burrata is so rarely on a menu and I have no idea why - it was absolutely delicious, super creamy ... and yes, I did eat every bit of that! :-) For mains we went for polar opposites... the Vegetable Bang Bang (€14) - oriental veg in a coconut and lemongrass sauce - and the 8oz Fillet steak with chips and brandy black pepper sauce. The curry was tasty and filling with the chunky veg and creamy sauce and I was told the steak was perfect... if maybe a tad smaller than what we are used to being served... I'm not sure if it was confused with the 6oz steak they offer but at €26 I thought it was maybe a couple of euro overpriced. Deciding to go the whole hog, we got desserts too :-) I know so many people don't agree with the calories on the menu but I think it's a great idea when possible. Much as I wanted the brownie, we went for the Eton Mess at a couple of hundred calories less and the Carrot Cake. Both desserts (€7.20) were just gorgeous and along with a cappuccino absolutely filled us to the brim. The total bill for 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 desserts, 3 alcoholic drinks and 2 coffees was just shy of €100.... I feel most things were just maybe a euro or so more than they should have been, bringing the bill up by maybe €10 more than I felt it deserved. However, all the food was delicious, staff were helpful and friendly and it's a lovely little restaurant... I look forward to returning in the summer when I can soak up some sunshine on that terrace!

So in love with the Bays Duck Pate appetizer. The appetizer is a decent portion and the pate is creamy and is complimented well by pistachio. The Bang Bang Chicken was good. I would have preferred more curry sauce with the chicken as the chicken flavor was not very noticeable. The Banoffee Pie had too much crust and was very hard to cut up. The Banoffee Pie needed more toffee and bananas .

With COVID and omicron, you would think they would accommodate it for the safety of their customers, but they seem offended when I call and ask for takeaway. However, I definitely recommend this place, it's a true gem in the neighborhood. They are reasonably priced for lunch (€17 for 2 courses or €20 for 3 courses), they also have other options. They also have an early bird menu for (€24 for 2 courses and €28 for 3). And a la carte for dinner. They have lamb on their Sunday menu.

The food is consistently delicious and well priced. Their Tue. Steak Dinner nights are extra special, not just for the price but also the food. The staff are welcoming and very professional and attentive. I would highly recommend this restaurant to my friends and visitors alike for a quiet dinner or to celebrate a special occasion. The inside is cosy and charming. Filled with wooden beams and walls. Fairy lights and cosy cushions it was instantly inviting. The chairs were comfy and the ambience was nice. I got the eggs Benedict. Perfectly poached eggs, crispy bacon, muffins, hollindase sauce and mixed leaf salad drizzled in oil- delicious. @€10 not to bad either but not amazing value considering what you can get for an extra €2- The works! The 'mister' had 'the works', basically the same as what i'd gotten except the added 2 sausages, yummy fried potatoes, tomato, black and white pudding and homemade baked beans-yummy. (I know cause I robbed some) Over all.. The price is on the higher side of things especially for the area it's in. The food was good though and I would go back if not again for brunch, then dinner. It's now my new favorite local food place! Oh and on leaving we spotted the humongous scones. Tea/coffee + a scone, jam and cream only €4.50 not bad.

The spot is located up a literal winding staircase that takes you into an inviting room that boasts a lovely view of the river below. We didn't go to the third floor, but I can imagine it was equally lovely. They've got an impressive wine list and a moderate beer list that's predominantly bottle. Interestingly they don't have spirits so the mixed drinks are wine cocktails - boss! I tried a white port and tonic drink - seriously next level! I don't often find wine cocktails and even more rarely are they really good! The menu is impressive and seasonal, save the potted crab and haddock, which are on all the time. It should be know for any who dine with our crew, that we share a lot, so everything we had was enjoyed by all 5 of us. The crab was unbelievable! Creamy, flavorful, magical. The beef cheek and fish plate were also perfect for sharing. We also had two scotch eggs - these could have a Klondike bar (look it up youngins!) like marketing campaign! We shared the Haddock and the Pigs on Green Port Tenderloin. Both were awesome, with the Haddock more memorable. We haven't had such delicious mashed fish since Iceland and the cheddar mash and onions were the perfect accoutrement! The chocolate fondant was delicious and the bread and butter bread pudding was life changing. The whiskey sauce is something I'd swim in if given the chance! It was lick the plate good. The service was spot on and we got out of there for about €50 a person, full and happy! The whole evening was excellent and this place definitely deserves the accolades.
