We went here because the batteries for our RV stopped working. We purchased them about a year ago and needed two new ones. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted right away. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly, knowledgeable, and was able to answer all of our questions. We ended up purchasing two Group 31 batteries. The whole process was quick and easy. We were in and out of Batteries Plus in less than 10 minutes. My only disappointment is that they were not able to locate our previous battery purchase in their system. Since we bought them about a year ago from Batteries Plus, we had hoped they would still be under warranty. if I could, I would give this place 0 . A friend recommended them to change my battery on my 2003 mercedez C230 Kompressor. they reversed polarities when they put it in the car. A bunch of stuff got burned. they cover part , but all the electrical problems such the cluster, my air conditioner, windshield wipers, radio, mirrors, one of the headlights, and break light don't work since they did that. now a year later, the good battery that they gave me in place of the burn one is bad, the seal came off, so I took it back to the business and after testing it, the told me that because the battery was not good, they couldn't honor the guarantee.... say what??? they argued that I must have done something to it, . I would never ever recommend or get near this business again! I sent an email to the area manager with no response. I purchase their top of the line battery it worked for about a year and then started failing to hold a charge. I returned to the store to have them honor the warranty to be told that they will have to decide whether or not they can honor the warranty. The decided they need to hold the battery for 24 hours to test it and then if the, "manager," decides to honor the warranty? Customer service was awful and clearly doesn't understand how automotive battery testing works. There is no battery test that takes 24 hours. It's been quite a while since my last review of batteries plus bulbs. I've been here several times in between. These last two times I come for car batteries. We just bought a 12 year old. Used Audi with a weak battery that needed replacing. If you go online, you discover that this cars battery is a difficult install. I checked with an Audi dealership and they were going to charge me in the range of $700 to put in a new battery. I called up bulbs plus. They had one battery that would fit my car that was in stock. With installation and a four year warranty. The total price was $255 out the door. Rubin couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Definitely the place to go for hard to find bulbs and difficult to install car batteries. read more

I wish I could do negative stars. Went in there for the second time today had this man Tom helping me. Which by the way last time he was so rude to me because my phone wouldn't turn on. I'm trying to get a phone screen repaired and then he proceeds to say it won't turn on again and ask me if it turns on I said yes, then he plugged it in and continues to help the customers behind me. He came out from the back and my phone is on and I asked if he would help me because I have an appointment at 10. We found a highly-rated car battery in Consumer Reports magazine for my car and went to Google and found that Batteries Plus Bulbs carried it. Called up the nearest store on Eastern Avenue in Henderson and reached Chris who was the owner. He told me he was "short handed", but still asked me to come over and he'll take care of me. When I arrived, I saw that Chris was literally short-handed. He was working with a broken arm! However, that injury failed to deter him from giving us quick and excellent service. Yes, that included him replacing the battery single-handed! I also received a $10 discount, a $10 mail-in rebate, and we got a new battery at a good price all within 20 minutes and without an appointment. I have been a frequent customer of Batteries Plus for years, that is until today. Never again! I stopped in thinking that I would be able to pick up a simple Lithium Coin Button battery. When I approached the counter 3 employees were huddled around a computer. After a couple minutes an employee asked what I needed. No greeting. I replied that I needed a new battery. Without even verifying exactly what type of battery the female employee started reciting dollar amounts. I held out my device and asked if she could verify the type and pop a new battery into my device. She replied that it would be a $3 service charge in addition to the cost of the battery. I replied for simply removing the old battery and replacing it with a new battery it would be a service charge? Maybe five seconds of effort. I obviously wasn't going to receive any satisfaction from this employee, I asked to speak to the manager. When the manager came out he immediately recites the same service charge price. I have purchased batteries in the past and have never been charged a service charge. What happened to simple customer service? Why should customers be charged a service fee for an employee to just perform the task they were hired to perform? What's next an entrance fee for just walking in the door? Went to get warranty replaced for a battery we were sold. Employee at first said they could do the install and replace the battery since my injuries prevent me from doing it myself. Then the employee had to call the blue Diamond store because he wasn't able to read the paperwork we came with for the warranty replacement. We were then told he couldn't do the warranty swap because he was the only one in the store. Even though employee had keys to the store, or else how is this number nuts supposed to close the store. Told us to come back Monday when there's more than 1 person. Told employee we couldn't since I work most of the day and afterwords had to take our other car in to be repaired from an auto accident. I bought a battery for my gate remote. In less than a month the battery died. It's unusual since I haven't replaced my last one after 3 years. The staff tested the battery and her exact words. "Oh Wow it's dead, unfortunately, we cannot replace it coz it could be your remote. I can give you a 10% discount. LOL. That is too ridiculous. Less than a month and the receipt clearly showed it. I know my battery is only $6, but for her to blame remote right away and not blame a faulty battery was ridiculous. If i came back 2nd time then you can clearly say it's the remote. Update: It has been 24 days since my last review and surprisingly i was able to find the battery at the .99 cent store and so far it's still working. I bought 5 for the same price of 1 at their store, since it's harder to find. I guess, it's true not all expensive things have quality. I bought from battery plus thinking it would last longer. Change your policy or screen your staff. If customer has no receipt then maybe give them no business. If a customer comes back with a receipt for the 1st time. They carry a large selection of batteries and bulbs and I've purchased several items here including bulbs for my oven and ceiling fans. This store has the worst customer service I've ever experienced in a battery plus store. I brought in three motorcycle batteries, one lithium battery that I bought here, asked them to check or charge. The guy behind the counter had no knowledge of any kind regarding these batteries (that they sold me) I wanted to purchase two additional batteries, the guy would not come out from behind the counter he would just point in the general direction where the batteries I was looking for were. Long story short... I took all my batteries and walked out I will not ever come back here again, this guy should not be in customer service. read more

Aw man, this was just bad and has been bad a few times before. It takes so much for me to give a one star review. Poor service, poor customer service, and the inability to fix something they messed up. So here it goes...way back last December I needed a new battery for my Honda key fab. Run of the mill service for these folks. I'm sure they do a ton of these every day. $10.81 later I have a new battery. What they failed to tell me is that they had to replace the screw that was in there. I noticed a day or so later that the screw now in place was kind of fat, but didn't think twice about it. If it held, who cares if it's different? Well, it didn't. A day or so after that the screw fell out and as I was getting out of my car the key and it's parts went every which way. On this attempt, they resolved the problem. They apparently had similar screws in the back, but put in the wrong one. Okay, cool. YOu made the problem, you fixed it. Thanks guys. Fast forward to mid July. Battery goes dead. I think, that's weird, these usually last at least a year, if not a little longer. Head back to Batteries Plus, a young kid kindly helps me, only charges me $6.48 since he said the battery should last at least a year, so no service fee. Literally the next day, the screw falls out. I head back to Batteries Plus, this time I'm met by Beau & Dan and another gentleman whose working in the back. Things just went south very quickly. Most importantly, they weren't able to fix the key. Apparently they don't keep screws in the back and didn't have a replacement. I guess I just got lucky the day I came back last December. Next, they were rude and unprofessional. They swore a ton, dropping F-bombs on the regs. Don't get me wrong, I can curse like a sailor, but my god, be a little more mindful in the workplace. They said the area where the screw goes was a little stripped. They didn't seem to care when I told them that this location is the only place the key has ever been taken to have the battery replaced, so they essentially stripped it. The one gentleman, whose name I didn't get, at least made an effort to try and fix it after both Beau and Dan basically shut down any idea of making an effort to try and fix something their store caused. I appreciated that, but in the end nothing was done. So I left with my key still missing a screw and no resolution with how to get it fixed. Major bummer. read more

Great customer service. So far I've been here a few times and the staff is always very friendly. On my first visit I purchased a new cell phone battery because mine was shot. I really like the warranty program and that it is linked to my phone number. So far I've had the battery for a few weeks and I'm very happy with it. Not to mention pretty reasonable prices. I've gone back another time looking for something else. They actually didn't have it (wireless charging dock) but staff was a very friendly & informative. I wasn't too ecstatic about having to buy a new car battery but I was happy they were open early enough for me to stop in. They are located right off of Eastern and the 215. You can see the front of the store from Eastern so it was easy to find. Parking here isn't too abundant but since i was there early in the morning, there wasn't any issue. They have batteries for every need... watches, laptops, cars, motorcycles and more. Luckily they had the battery I needed for my car. Plus it came with a great warranty that can be used at any Batteries Plus location. I was pleased with that for sure! Customer service here was good but not great. I wish the man helping me had a little more of a sense of humor. Either he didn't understand my jokes or he was just ignoring me. Either way,... just humor me and smile at least. Avoid this place like the plague. We brought in an iPhone 6+ for a basic screen replacement. The first time, they did not install the replacement correctly and it popped up at the corner. When I took it in, they claimed that it was because someone had sat on the phone but no one has ever sat on the phone. A few weeks later, the screen started cracking. It has been in a case the entire time and has never been subjected to any trauma or anything else that could possibly damage much less crack a new screen. We took it back in and politely explained what had happened and asked them to replace it for free under the warranty. Apparently the warranty is worthless because they refused to replace it for free. The guy claimed that the phone had been under stress from the case but this is the same case that we have used for years without causing any damage. I am absolutely certain that the screen they put in was either defective when they put it in or of such low quality that it couldn't withstand even a few weeks of light use. Extremely dishonest. Fortunately, I paid with credit card so I have some protection there. When I told him I would challenge it with the credit card company he claimed I was escalating the conversation to an unnecessary tone. What tone ? He also told me I could come back tomorrow when the owner would be there. Why bother wasting more of my time with this place. I won't be back. To add icing to the cake, not only was the guy rude to us but he was also rude to a prior, elderly and disabled Hispanic gentleman and claimed he did not understand what the customer was saying even though everyone else in the store completely understand what he was saying. I have done business with this place before...It seems favored by a lot of people for there is always people in the store. An employee from the rainbow store sent me to the sunset one due to my residence location, to cut and program a fob....The tech there couldnt do so accurately so he recommended another store..He also quoted me 10$ more than the rainbow guy did, also informing me if his work failed it would cost about 145$ to recreate....nonsense it was and so be it that his machine was in error so I left to this serene store...Whole different attitude here,,Daniel , after a bit of troubleshooting, programmed that fob and made a perfect cut...
