Tried this place out on Saturday night for dinner. We made reservations for our party and the staff was super flexible as our schedule changed due to a late train as we called ahead to tell them we would be late. We sat outside, it provided great people watching and entertainment. As most restaurants you are either stuck with people traffic or with the road traffic, we had the road traffic which wasn't too bad only interrupted our conversation a few times. For dinner we started off with the corn bread and the pulled pork egg rolls. The corn bread was right out of the oven still hot and delicious! The egg rolls were loaded with meat and the outside had a nice crunch. We tried a few cocktails... the new fashion, gin and tonic, and the cucumber smash. For dinner we got the steak house salad- loved the horseradish dressing- and the flat iron steak. I would definitely recommend this to folks to check out as it is all made in house and good size proportions. read more

I'm a fan of theirs and would return- very solid food and a cheerful environment. We started with thr skillet cornbread, which was probably the best thing. And I loved my mint raspberry lemonade- the whole drink menu looked awesome. Then my hot chicken sliders were very on par with my expectations: good, but not amazing. Almost Nashville, but in Florida. The first bite is actually worse than the last bite because it begins with the chicken being dry and the bun a little hard, but by the end all the juices have spread so you get nice flavors and a softer bun. A slightly softer bun from the start would be ideal. Solid fries too and good service. The hostesses at the front weren't the nicest, but our server made up for it. All in all very solid and would recommend to a friend! read more

Had reservations for 6, we were on time and seated immediately for 11:45 brunch. Place is LOUD. No way our whole party could actually have a conversation. Deviled eggs and oysters were delicious!! I can't say enough about the orangey-red sauce that accompanies the oysters. Wow. After that, it all went downhill. Brisket and short-rib burger looked pretty great and was cooked perfectly but lacked flavor oddly. Biscuits and gravy were just okay and much spicier than expected. Husband ordered plain scrambled eggs and bacon. Eggs were brown and burnt. 2 pieces of bacon were very greasy. I would come back for the oysters and deviled eggs, especially with people I don't care to converse with. read more

What a fun place for brunch! A girlfriend and I came towards the end of brunch and got seated immediately. It's a loud and lively place to take a group of friends, or heck, meet a group of friends! We got lucky and got served by Morgan, a very hardworking server who made it her mission to serve us bottomless mimosas until the last minute of brunch. The mimosa fairy: our glasses were never empty. Surprisingly, one of the managers delivered our charcuterie board and tidied up our table. The manager continued to check on us periodically even though Morgan was already doing a great job of checking on us. Usually, I don't get a manager visit to my table unless my bill is sky-high or I'm with an older adult lol. I appreciate this manager's intelligence to take time and chit chat with us! I order charcuterie boards at restaurants all around and Batch definitely has one of the better tasting, high-quality ingredient boards in the Palm Beaches. That smoked sausage was especially amazing! Can't wait to come back and try Batch for dinner, I've heard so many great things about dinner I believe all to be true. read more

"From 'Meh' To Worse" Never fun to leave a bad review, but better to inform of my experience Frequently in WPB for work, visited Batch at 5 pm to try something new (to me) on the Clematis Street strip Ordered hot wings as appetizer, followed by steamed mussels Both menu items delivered simultaneously despite the request for wings first Wings were more sweet than hot, mussels over-spiced, over-cooked, and (after the wings were consumed) cold Asked for the bill, waited 10 minutes Server returned, provided her with credit card, was presented with a mobile device that solicited tips of 18%, 20%, and 22% Never comfortable with rewarding lousy food and service, but selected 18% tip just to avoid an unpleasant conversation, get the transaction done, and be on the way Asked for printed receipt for expense report reimbursement, waited another 10 minutes, server never returned, approached the front desk to inquire Manager intervened, found server who explained "I was just taking care of people ordering before happy hour ended, sorry" My (admittedly, less than gracious) reply: "Of course, since you already had my tip, why bother with providing a receipt?" Server just shrugged her shoulders and moved on To his credit, manager did apologize but won't be back, too many other good places on Clematis to return to more of this Suggest you give this place a miss for food, perhaps better luck with the drink menu Thanks for reading read more

The happy hour specials until 6pm for the $6 app bites are great. I love the pork rinds and the homemade biscuits that are enormous with the bourbon butter and jam are a MUST everytime. Batch is a regular spot for me - I try to come 4-5x year and always bring fresh faces with me. I am boring I always get the fried chicken and waffles and a starter of cornbread. You are a fool if you come here and don't get the cornbread. Okie of my guest tonight is Swedish and she had never eaten cornbread before and couldn't believe she had never eaten something so amazing before! She also enjoyed the short rib burger with loaded fries. Fried chicken was excellent as usual. I'm not a huge fan of the waffle and my guests said that I have to give 4 star rating tonight based on the fact that you aren't allowed to sub out sides here for something more enjoyable. The third dish was the saint louis ribs which smelt amazing and tasted even better. You could barely pick them up before the meat fell off the bone. Happy hour here is a great deal with 50% off cocktails and appetizer specials until 7pm and service is always very friendly. read more

This restaurant definitely is not the best in some ways, but is overall still worth checking out! Pros: My sliders were phenomenal! As were the fries! Overall atmosphere was beautiful and comfortable. The lemonades are also worth trying. Cons: the customer service wasn't the best. The waiter was pretty short and rude with us throughout our experience. I let it slide in the moment but it's hard to give a good restaurant 5 stars with several negative interactions with a waiter. My mule was also not tasty either. How can you mess up a mule!! 8/10, get the sliders read more

The menu is filled with unique combinations. We had a large party and the service was fast and efficient. For the area, the prices were reasonable. The $17.50/pp for bottomless mimosas/Bellini/sangria (max 90 min) is a great deal. 4 instead of 5 stars for two reasons- there is a mild smell of garbage throughout the restaurant, it never went away. Only about half of us could smell it, so maybe you'll be in the lucky half and not smell it. The second reason for the four stars- the food was not all that delicious. It looked nice and was well priced, but don't come here for flavor. Overall, it was a nice brunch place and would recommend for large groups. read more

So my friend asked me if I wanted to make the hour drive up to Palm Beach because a friend of hers declared Batch as having "the best chicken and waffles in south Florida." We had to try it. Knowing it was a popular spot, we made reservations via open table for Sunday brunch. We had no wait at all and without reservations the wait would've been over an hour so I strongly recommend reservations. I came already knowing I wanted to order the chilled oysters but unfortunately they were all out. I was surprised they were out already since it was only 11:30am and they open at 10 on Sundays but our server explained they got slammed with oyster orders the previous day. Bummer but no biggie. I ordered some biscuits instead. They were delicious...crispy on the outside, soft & buttery on the inside. For my main course I ordered the short rib burger and added candied bacon, fried egg, and cheese. I had high hopes for this burger but I must admit I agree with a few other reviewers who said the patty was bland. And there was hardly any aioli on it. I thought about asking for more aioli but it decided eh it wasn't that serious. While we're on the topic of the burger I have to talk about one weird thing that happened. About 10 minutes after I placed my burger order I realized our server never asked me what temperature I wanted it. I brought it to her attention and she said that she already put it in as well done. I told her no I don't like well done, and asked for medium rare. She did not apologize but she did promptly tell the kitchen and my burger came out properly cooked. The issue I'm having is why would she assume I wanted it well done? Why would she just select a temperature herself instead of asking me? And even if she did select the temp herself why would she assume well done and not something in the middle like medium? I have a theory as to why she assumed I wanted it well done but for the sake of the review I will keep that to myself. Anyway while I did not order the chicken and waffles, one of my friends did so I tasted hers. It was good. Was it amazing? No. But good. All in all Batch was ok to me. Unfortunately I did not enjoy it as much as I thought I would nased on the menu & reviews. I would be willing to return to try other dishes but I wouldn't go out of my way and make the 1-hour trip again just for it. I would go if I'm already in the area. Which is rare. read more

Do not recommend see what else is in town.

I'm not here to diminish anyone else's experience, but rather to share my own honestly and constructively. Situations like this should serve as a learning opportunity for upper-level management, especially when the level of service and leadership falls below even basic expectations. We ordered a filet mignon that lacked the tenderness I would expect from a restaurant claiming this caliber of dining. We also ordered the salmon, which unfortunately had that unmistakable metallic, pungent flavor that immediately signals the fish is not fresh and should not be consumed further. We brought the issue to the attention of the manager, who acknowledged it initially but never returned to follow up. To their credit, the salmon was removed from the bill and an alternative dish was offered. However, the overall experience still fell far short of what should be expected at this price point and reputation level. What disappointed me most was not simply the food itself, but the complete lack of genuine hospitality and ownership from management. Strong restaurants understand that service recovery matters just as much as the meal. There's a reason establishments like The Capital Grille or Flagler Steakhouse have earned reputations for professionalism and customer care. Sometimes I genuinely think managers at places like this should spend time training in environments where hospitality is treated as an art form rather than an inconvenience. The following day, I was still disappointed enough to write this review. At a certain point, guests should not have to spend over $200 while simultaneously educating a restaurant on how to deliver proper service and quality control. With an abundance of superior restaurants nearby, this is not a place I would return to, even if offered a complimentary meal. Don't chance it.

Wow--what a fantastic birthday celebration we had at Batch Southern Kitchen on Clematis in West Palm Beach! We came with a large group of ladies (and even some of our little ones), and the entire experience was nothing short of wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the vibe was upbeat, happening, and full of energy with great music and a fun atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious--especially the shrimp and grits--and the bottomless drink option made the afternoon feel like a true celebration. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. A huge shoutout to Jordan, the manager, who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and special. He was so accommodating and attentive, making sure every detail was just right. The bartenders who helped us while we were waiting and the entire service team were equally fantastic--friendly, welcoming, and quick with everything we needed. Our server was pleasant, efficient and patient! She was great ! The space itself was fun, clean and inviting, and despite having both a big group of adults and small children, we felt completely at ease. It's rare to find a place that's both lively and family-friendly, but Batch managed to make it feel effortless. Overall, it was a lighthearted, joyful, and truly memorable day celebrating our girlfriend's birthday. We left full, happy, and already talking about when we can come back. Highly, highly recommend this gem in downtown West Palm Beach for anyone looking for amazing food, a vibrant atmosphere, and top-notch hospitality. Thank you so much read more

During my childhood, one of my favorite cereal box characters would enticingly say "follow your nose." As soon as you walk into Batch, you will be enticed by the wafts of cinnamon and deliciousness that the kitchen is preparing. Batch is a charming southern style restaurant with a modern appeal. It's reminiscent of foodie towns like Greenville, SC. You can expect to find classic southern recipes that have been reinvented by the chef to appeal to a generation of people who demand a bit more from their brunches, lunches, and dinners. They even make their own version of cinnamon whisky. They offer a beautiful selection of alcohol including some decent scotch and bourbon as well as all the things you'd want to drink on a hot summer day. I also decided to try the black truffle macaroni and cheese which comes piping hot with lots of gooey cheese and a giant spoon so you can shovel it in. I loved it. The atmosphere is the right balance of fun and relaxed. The service is energetic and engaging meaning they didn't hover, the other servers looked out for patrons who didn't belong to them when the other was busy. I admire this kind of teamwork. They seem to understand that one diner's positive experience means more overall business as opposed to the one tip at a time mentality. I highly recommend putting Batch on your list to try. I'm definitely going back when I can! read more

Batch New Southern Kitchen & Tap offers a remarkable dining experience, highlighted by a genuinely warm and down-to-earth customer service provided by both the host and servers. Throughout my meal, my server consistently ensured my satisfaction and comfort. The Mac attack with smoked shrimp was a flavor-packed delight. The lemon drop martini was also delicious. I paired the martini with their discounted Grey Goose they offer on Mondays, it was a refreshing choice. The attention to detail extends to the ladies' room, which was impeccably clean and adorned with pleasant scented candles. Overall, this Southern-style restaurant is highly recommended for its exceptional service, delectable food, and inviting ambiance. I look forward to returning for another memorable experience. read more

I was in WPB for a friends reunion so I was good and tequila'd up the night before so I was looking for some filling before I caught my flight back to Philly. I stumbled upon this place while walking down Clematis and I will say that it is one of the best finds in my history of finds. The vibe was nothing short of amazing with everyone having a good time and friendly. The music was loud but on point so I'll forgive lol. I went to Batch on a Sunday morning and really enjoyed my brunch. They had a great 90s playlist on, giving the place a casual and lively vibe, perfect for a weekend brunch. What I love is that they use Wagyu beef and pork from their own ranch, Rancher's Reserve, and partner with local Florida farms and they offer a true southern hospitality. Check out their other location called the Steak shop off of Dixie Hwy. The service and atmosphere were Exceptional. Shoutout to Cody and our waiter for being so welcoming, patient, and sharing the history of the ranch. Now here's what we ordered: Akaushi Hanger Steak: Served with truffle crema, cowboy butter, and tallow-cooked sweet potato frites that melt in your mouth. Crispy, buttery, and the best sweet potatoes ever. I'd return just for this! Berkshire Rib Chop: My husband swapped the broccolini for an assorted carrots with apricot purée, wood-fired onion, and black garlic molasses. We are picky with steak temperatures and had to send ours back, but our waiter (wish I could remember his name) he was amazing and had it remade exactly right. Everything was seasoned perfectly! Carrot Cake: We took it to go and it was still delicious two days later. Truly the best we've ever had! We will definitely be back! Wishing them tons of success.

They also have valet that was complimentary. I took advantage of it because the parking lot is really small and the day I went it was packed. The valet was also polite. It was a chill laid back upscale type of restaurant. I would definitely recommend if you want upscale but intimate.

Warm bread pudding with caramelized banana and vanilla ice cream. Definitely hit the spot after craving something sweet. Also enjoyed a margarita and decided to try their cauliflower appetizer which is probably not one of the best I've had. Our server was very delightful and accommodating. The ambience and vibe of Table 26 is nice. We'll definitely visit again to try some main entrées.
