This place has it all. If you are looking for creative out of this world drinks, amazing southern food and awesome staff, you have come to the place. The bartenders were so helpful on deciding drinks and food. Ask for a sample to taste of any drink before hand and make your choice. They do have happy hour 4-7 Monday- Friday. Specialty drinks and a few appetizers are included. We sat inside and considering everything going on, it was empty but the staff was very entertaining. We honestly had a great time with everyone. My gf and I shared the beacon tots and chicken and waffles. Very large portions so unless you have a hole in your stomach I suggest you share. Between the two of us we couldn't finish all the fried chicken. We ended up giving it to a homeless man. It made his day. I will definitely be back for a 2nd round. read more

What do the 5 stars mean for me? Well, 1)food 2) service 3) price 4) location and 5) ambience. This place deserves each one of those stars. Let me explain. The food here is obviously made in a very professionally-run kitchen. Southern, this good, is not common nor easy. Who would've thought, the worlds definition of 'comfort' food actually takes a lot of hard work to get right! Of course I ordered the Chicken and Waffles, of course it was the reason I came. BUT, thanks to our awesome server Andrew it wasn't the only thing we tried. He suggested the Crab Cake Benedict and bless his soul for doing so. My gf, who decided against the Chick&Waff in favor of this dish described it as a foodie orgasm! The crab was about as fresh as you'll ever find in a crab cake. Freshhhhh with a capital F. Also, props to the kitchen for making hollandaise sauce that is actually creamy and rich and sticks to the eggs! Anyway, back to the succulent and masterfully seasoned and fried chicken I had on my plate. It was terribly good. They have the audacity to add a mouth-watering honey flavored with chili and thyme to this already over-the-top good chicken. And this isn't a corny commercial either but WAIT, THERE'S MORE! The manager Todd, brings by a homemade hot sauce that took that chicken to a while other realm. I wish they sold it in bottles. This is coming from a man with 14 different kinds of hot sauce in his cabinets (Valentina will forever be #1) so I know good. This is hot sauce made for fried chicken. Ask for it! Mimosas are bottomless for $17 and I will say that it was worth it. Especially since the chicken does take a bit to come out of the kitchen. TRUST ME ITS WORTH EVERY MOMENT. Sipping on mimosas is a good way to pass the time. BONUS: Music was good the entire time. Mix of good stuff, various genres. Not too loud but definitely a lively environment. I cannot wait to come back. From the location (bubbling area full of places to go, the food, price, service. Shout out to Andrew that was managing so many tables yet was such a big part of our good experience as he recommended the mimosas (we would've ended up spending more ordering one by one) and told us about the crab cake Benedict. Come, eat, and love it. read more

Had the smoked duck and bacon hash. Simply delicious. The duck is diced and plentiful. For the duck lovers, you can taste the flavor, juiciness and smokiness of the duck. The bacon is the side show but a nice compliment. Peppers are mild and sweet, works well with the duck and bacon. The potatoes. Oh my goodness... I have been limiting my carbs but I'm a big fan of a real good hash. I had enough will power to cut off the potatoes and it's not because they weren't delish. It's only because I've made a lot of weight loss progress. For the potato lovers, you will love the crispy potatoes. Great entree... Kitchen get much love. They have bottomless mimosas and sangrias. I didn't indulge but had a seat at the bar and they get drink orders turned around quicky. Shout out to the bar staff. Will definitely go back when in West Palm Beach. read more

My fiancè and I came here on a winter weekday evening. The street was pretty dead but Batch was pretty busy inside! We both had one of their homemade non alcoholic drinks (I had the ginger beer) and were very impressed. I got the blackened chicken campanelle and he got the chicken & waffles. Both were good and huge portions! We said we could have shared one dish, but we brought home leftovers instead. Everything was good. Our only complaint was the lack of chocolate on the dessert menu! read more

We visited twice in a week while we were in town for work. Food and service was amazing! I had the chili and the chicken and waffles, hubby had chicken macaroni and cheese and shrimp and grits, all of it was spectacular! Not a great steak with an expensive price tag, it was very weak and not flavorful, I do not recommend at all this restaurant is just so-so and not great, VERY EXPENSIVE don't mind paying the price when it's right, but when the price is high and the food is not great, then I do mind I hope they can make some changes as it's a pretty nice spot on Clematis Street in West Palm Beach Beach read more

Came here on a Wednesday night for a solo dinner and it was pretty busy. Thankfully, someone was leaving so I was able to get a high top table outdoors within a few minutes of arriving. Lots of interesting items on the menu. I don't think I've ever seen as many Pecan-related things before on a menu. I asked my waitress what she would recommend and went with her recommendations of the Chicken N Waffles (without the hot sauce) and the Classic Old Fashioned. - Chicken N Waffles: so good. The chicken was nice and tender with a perfect crisp. The waffles with butter and honey were delicious (I'm not usually someone that likes waffles). Big serving (see picture) - Old Fashioned: very smooth. If you like a good old fashioned, I'd highly recommend this. I decided to save some of the chicken and waffles and asked for dessert at which point another waitress game over and said that they are all very good. Once again, very pecan based. I ordered the chef's homemade ice cream which happens to be blackberry ice cream only because it sounded interesting. It was interesting, but also forgettable. I would not order that again. Hopefully they choose a better flavor than blackberry for their next ice cream. It also took approx. 2 hours to have a dinner by myself and pay. It was relatively busy, but even when it started to quiet down, the waitresses were no where to be found. Docking a star for the service, but the food and drink was really good (minus the blackberry ice cream). In re: COVID - all employees that I saw were wearing a mask. There was one employee took her mask off outside to chat with a few people sitting at an outdoor table, but everyone else was keeping their masks on read more

We were visiting from out of town and ordered Thanksgiving dinner to-go with very high hopes and expectations that it would be nothing short of amazing (due to the price and the overall good reviews from the restaurant), however, we were left very disappointed! Although the side dishes were made well, the star of the show was an utter FLOP! Like seriously, how can you mess up the turkey on thanksgiving as a business who's charging a pretty penny for the meal?!? The turkey was so dry we couldn't even feed it to our toddler son for fear it would choke him! In addition, we couldn't eat any leftover turkey because it would just get drier and even more inedible. My husband called to let the manager know and they weren't very apologetic. They said they would look into it and would call us back but never did. Very disappointed in the outcome of the situation and learned a valuable lesson to never order thanksgiving takeout from anyone ever again! read more

I had a great visit to batch this week. We had reservations on a Wednesday night which turned out to be pretty unnecessary as there were a good amount of tables open. We were seated immediately and service was great. Our waitress recommended a few dishes to us, and we wound up starting off with the BBQ pulled pork egg rolls. They were pretty good, definitely BBQ sauce forward. For dinner I went with another recommendation and got the chicken and waffles. The menu says a 1/2 chicken and it really was. Tons of chicken, and the waffles tasted fresh and were really good. My boyfriend had the chicken pot pie and was happy with his as well. The buttermilk biscuit top on it was enormous, it was probably a third of the dish. My only semblance of a complaint would maybe be the music, some of it was just really un-fitting for the environment and certain songs would get skipped 45 seconds in to something else. They need to get a good playlist together and stick to it. We got lucky with parking and found a meter street spot just a block away. All in all, we were happy with our choice for dinner. read more

Went for brunch and opted for the Impossible Frittata. It was pretty tasty as were the potatoes that came with it - my friend even asked me if I was sure it was vegan and not real meat and egg. The staff were very friendly and attentive and accommodated us moving tables outside when the sun got a little too intense. We didn't partake but the bottomless mimosas (which you can mix and match any of the drinks for) seems like a pretty good deal. I'd love to come back and try some of their other lunch/dinner options. The only thing that struck me as very odd is they don't have any plant based milk options for coffee. I'm surprised a place that stocks Just Egg and Impossible meat doesn't have at least one milk alternative . read more

First impression of this place was great. There was a lot of activity on a Saturday with outdoor seating for the beautiful weather. Unfortunately there was no outdoor seating when we got there, but we were able to snag a booth for brunch. I totally did the unlimited drinks for $17 which gave the option of sangria, bellini or mimosa. The menu was great! I didn't know what to pick with all the options but I figured, "why not go classic?" I ordered the chicken and waffles and my boyfriend had the southern crispy chicken breakfast. He never had grits before so they were kind enough to give him a small sample to try!! (That was really dope of them) The food was great but somehow our waiter was also the bartender. I was a bit confused because we were the only table he was serving. The inside wasn't super packed, so in trying to understand, i wasn't sure why we didn't have a set waitress. Because he was working both, everything took a while to get in comparison to other tables which I wasn't to pleased with. Other than that, I would definitely be back to enjoy another delicious brunch! read more

So let me start off by saying that the food we had was very very good. It's nice to have some southern cooking here in South Florida that tickles the taste buds. Everything pictured was spot on in delivery and taste, I had no complaints about the food or drink (I also had the watermelon lemonade sweet tea, delicious!). Okay, I will never put a bad restaurant review on here because I don't think it's fair, I simply report the ones I approve of and encourage people to go try. With that said, it was an extremely busy night and it took us over 20 minutes to be seated and we had reservations. It was 10 minutes before someone even spoke to us and that was disappointing. They were also out of several menu items we tried to order which really made us nervous about the expectations of the meal. BUT.....it all worked out and we had a lovely meal! I think it was our server's first night too! But he did a good job and everything was right! Kudos! I also work in hospitality and feel the heat from the understaffing/loss of people due to COVID so I understand the situation. With a little patience and understanding everything worked out fine! We weren't there all night and everything came out in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend this place because the location is fun and the food is great! COVID safe... read more

WOW WOW WOW!!!! One absolutely delicious menu and I see to have come on a Sunday where the music that was being played was awesome and the DJ was absolutely doing a fantastic job. The server we had was amazing as well and was well versed on the items on the menu. His name was Pat and we gave him a very hefty tip because he was so cool, personable, knowledgeable and made us feel extremely comfortable! We decided to order the Mac and cheese also and took one bit of it and decided to not bother eating it because it was not hitting our tastebuds the way I was expecting. So we sent it back and took it off the bill. The meal (especially the chicken and waffle) is more than enough to fill anyone. I would suggest that it's best to come on an empty stomach if your going to order the chicken and waffles. Moreover, the drinks/unlimited mimosas were flowing and came back to back. He really did all he could to keep them flowing and i was not waiting. The chicken was fried hard and so savory and crispy along with the different types of sauces/butters it was truly amazing. I would come back here ANY DAY OF THE WEEK! The service and food both were top notch along with the music and ambiance. Please enjoy if you decide to go. read more

Stopped in for lunch with a friend on a weekday. They were at around 25% capacity. Very friendly servers but very slow service and even slower kitchen. I would return for drinks and apps only. Positives: House made tots are delicious! I also liked the blackberry mint lemonade. It was very refreshing. Negatives: I ordered the steakhouse salad which per their menu is: "6oz Strip Steak, Romaine & Arugula, Red Onion, Cucumber, Grape Tomato, Radish, Horseradish Dressing, Crispy Onion Straws". When it arrived I only had steak, romaine, maybe three pieces of arugula, onion straws, and the dressing. Meaning I pretty paid $20 for steak , romaine, and onion straws. My friend ordered the B.L.A.T which was way too sweet with the combination of candied bacon and B1 sauce. read more

Disappointed!!! After finding this restaurant on Yelp the night prior, we were excited to give it a try. Pure Disappointment. We arrived 5 minutes prior to opening and were told to wait at the dining tables outside. I asked if we could have coffee while we waited and were told no. Food took over 45 minutes to arrive and we were only one of three tables. When our food arrived, the food was severely overcooked. The frittata was burnt on the bottom and overly brown on top. The Hangover Hash was well done instead of med rare as ordered. The top and bottom of the burger was burnt to a hard crisp from the flat grill. Possitives.....coffee was hot and strong and our waitress was great. I do not recommend this restaurant. read more

We went to Batch for brunch on a trip to West Palm and it was soooo good!! Reservations are definitely necessary & it gets packed very quickly on a Sunday morning. They seat customers in 90 minute blocks so be sure to drink your bottomless beverages quickly to get the most out of your money! We had great service despite how busy they were. We got their cast iron cinnamon rolls as a starter and everyone was obsessed with them. For my meal, I got the pulled pork bacon tot Benedict which was delicious! The Benedict was served with roasted potatoes and it was literally the perfect meal. The "Whiskey Made Me Do It" neon sign was the cherry on top. I highly recommend stopping by soon! read more

I decided to pop in after getting my nails done in the area. I was alone so I took a seat at the bar. Jacob was the bartender and very nice! I ordered the ribs and wings from the happy hour menu, as well as the cucumber crush to drink. Delicious! I then ordered chicken and waffles and a side of brussel sprouts. Also very good! The only thing that was a miss was the banana pudding. Definitely not up to par with the other food I tasted, but nonetheless, it didn't detract from my experience. I'd highly recommend giving this place a try! read more

A great place to visit on Christmas Eve. Wonderful service by Ryan with a great table overlooking the holiday crowds on Clematis. I'm not here to diminish anyone else's experience, but rather to share my own honestly and constructively. Situations like this should serve as a learning opportunity for upper-level management, especially when the level of service and leadership falls below even basic expectations. We ordered a filet mignon that lacked the tenderness I would expect from a restaurant claiming this caliber of dining. We also ordered the salmon, which unfortunately had that unmistakable metallic, pungent flavor that immediately signals the fish is not fresh and should not be consumed further. We brought the issue to the attention of the manager, who acknowledged it initially but never returned to follow up. To their credit, the salmon was removed from the bill and an alternative dish was offered. However, the overall experience still fell far short of what should be expected at this price point and reputation level. What disappointed me most was not simply the food itself, but the complete lack of genuine hospitality and ownership from management. Strong restaurants understand that service recovery matters just as much as the meal. There's a reason establishments like The Capital Grille or Flagler Steakhouse have earned reputations for professionalism and customer care. Sometimes I genuinely think managers at places like this should spend time training in environments where hospitality is treated as an art form rather than an inconvenience. The following day, I was still disappointed enough to write this review. At a certain point, guests should not have to spend over $200 while simultaneously educating a restaurant on how to deliver proper service and quality control. With an abundance of superior restaurants nearby, this is not a place I would return to, even if offered a complimentary meal. Don't chance it.

Wow--what a fantastic birthday celebration we had at Batch Southern Kitchen on Clematis in West Palm Beach! We came with a large group of ladies (and even some of our little ones), and the entire experience was nothing short of wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the vibe was upbeat, happening, and full of energy with great music and a fun atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious--especially the shrimp and grits--and the bottomless drink option made the afternoon feel like a true celebration. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. A huge shoutout to Jordan, the manager, who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and special. He was so accommodating and attentive, making sure every detail was just right. The bartenders who helped us while we were waiting and the entire service team were equally fantastic--friendly, welcoming, and quick with everything we needed. Our server was pleasant, efficient and patient! She was great ! The space itself was fun, clean and inviting, and despite having both a big group of adults and small children, we felt completely at ease. It's rare to find a place that's both lively and family-friendly, but Batch managed to make it feel effortless. Overall, it was a lighthearted, joyful, and truly memorable day celebrating our girlfriend's birthday. We left full, happy, and already talking about when we can come back. Highly, highly recommend this gem in downtown West Palm Beach for anyone looking for amazing food, a vibrant atmosphere, and top-notch hospitality. Thank you so much read more

During my childhood, one of my favorite cereal box characters would enticingly say "follow your nose." As soon as you walk into Batch, you will be enticed by the wafts of cinnamon and deliciousness that the kitchen is preparing. Batch is a charming southern style restaurant with a modern appeal. It's reminiscent of foodie towns like Greenville, SC. You can expect to find classic southern recipes that have been reinvented by the chef to appeal to a generation of people who demand a bit more from their brunches, lunches, and dinners. They even make their own version of cinnamon whisky. They offer a beautiful selection of alcohol including some decent scotch and bourbon as well as all the things you'd want to drink on a hot summer day. I also decided to try the black truffle macaroni and cheese which comes piping hot with lots of gooey cheese and a giant spoon so you can shovel it in. I loved it. The atmosphere is the right balance of fun and relaxed. The service is energetic and engaging meaning they didn't hover, the other servers looked out for patrons who didn't belong to them when the other was busy. I admire this kind of teamwork. They seem to understand that one diner's positive experience means more overall business as opposed to the one tip at a time mentality. I highly recommend putting Batch on your list to try. I'm definitely going back when I can! read more

Batch New Southern Kitchen & Tap offers a remarkable dining experience, highlighted by a genuinely warm and down-to-earth customer service provided by both the host and servers. Throughout my meal, my server consistently ensured my satisfaction and comfort. The Mac attack with smoked shrimp was a flavor-packed delight. The lemon drop martini was also delicious. I paired the martini with their discounted Grey Goose they offer on Mondays, it was a refreshing choice. The attention to detail extends to the ladies' room, which was impeccably clean and adorned with pleasant scented candles. Overall, this Southern-style restaurant is highly recommended for its exceptional service, delectable food, and inviting ambiance. I was in WPB for a friends reunion so I was good and tequila'd up the night before so I was looking for some filling before I caught my flight back to Philly. I stumbled upon this place while walking down Clematis and I will say that it is one of the best finds in my history of finds. The vibe was nothing short of amazing with everyone having a good time and friendly. The music was loud but on point so I'll forgive lol. Then the barmaid came who was the nicest of barmaids and made some recommendations. I had the bacon Bloody Mary and the chicken waffles grits. The food was not unlike the environment. It was full of flavor and honestly one of the best brunch restaurants i've ate at in a while. My mother got the steak and eggs and that was also just as great. Definitely recommend if your in the area. read more

¡Tengo muchas ganas de volver a otro brunch dominical! read more

We stopped by for an impromptu brunch, and it ended up being one of the best decisions! Everything was amazing from start to finish. Andrew was such a fantastic server--friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. Chef Eddie absolutely knocked it out of the park with the food! We can't wait to come back for their Beach Brunch. The Saturday atmosphere was so fun, lively, and full of great vibes. Highly recommend checking this place out! read more

They were very busy but we were able to find seats at the bar! Drinks were delicious, we had a great bartender who took care of us. The devil eggs appetizer was pretty good, could be a little more flavorful but still good overall. The chicken and waffles dish was really good. We did one of the mac and cheese dishes, and added pork belly and blackened shrimp. It was just ok, needed more cheese sauce and flavor! read more

This place was hopping when we made it to the bar Danielle immediately greeted us with a smile and took care of us right away. But her great service didn't end there I tell you this girl was like a magician not only handling the crowd like a pro but always made sure we were taken care off! Danielle definitely made our night better after a bad experience at another bar down the street that same night . read more

I highly recommend this restaurant! It's the perfect Brunch spot! The music was blasting and the drinks were flowing, and the food was everything! I ordered the crab cake Benedict with refried tomato and hollandaise sauce, and it was really good. For a second entree I ordered the shrimp and grits, and for dessert I had the cinnamon bun. All in all, the food, service, and vibe were a 10 out of 10. read more

Chicken and waffles are very much recommended the waffles are made with corn they're to die for! Also make the chicken Nashville hot and no, it's not really that hot I don't like super spicy food but this level of spicy was just perfect. Beer on tap is great but I wish they only have about seven beers on tap and they had ran out of two of them. The appetizer tots are also amazing. read more

They did a fantastic job with the decor and lighting as well, as I always feel comfortable and unhurried here. The food is excellent. We enjoyed a brick chicken and fish of the day entree on our last visit, proceeded by a handful of appetizers (try the ahi tuna cones) and followed with dessert (Mississippi mud pie was phenomenal),

It quickly became clear why the drinks receive high praise! They were indeed delightful and well crafted. However, my experience with the food left much to be desired. We ordered the Brussels sprouts, which were topped with a creamy sauce. Unfortunately, the dish did not meet expectations, falling short in flavor and presentation. I would rate them a mere two out of ten. Additionally, we tried the oysters, which were disappointingly bland. Even with various toppings, they lacked the fresh vibrant taste one hopes for when enjoying oysters. Regrettably, both dishes missed the mark for me so I decided not to order more food and go somewhere else. On a positive note, our server was exceptional friendly, attentive, and accommodating, which helped enhance our overall experience. The restaurant's ambiance was mature and inviting and its location is indeed impressive. Despite the high ratings and popularity, I found the food lacking, which makes me hesitant to return. While I appreciate the quality of the drinks and the warmth of the service, the culinary offerings did not live up to the hype considering the basic dishes I ordered. Go for drinks only!

The drinks were a bit pricy and on the sweeter side, but I really liked them! We didn't end up trying any food because it was quite pricy, but maybe another time! Visited again for happy hour with much better food and drink prices! The burger and ahí tuna tacos were small and not that good but the chicken tacos were packed and great, very tasty, and we had food envy looking at the cubano panini. No cocktails on the happy hour drink menu but some nice wine options!

The mushrooms had such a great variety and were served with chestnut, black trumpet, golden oyster, fingerling potato, English pea, and heirloom tomato. The picanha with chimichurri risotto and charred corn rib was also amazing. Our group also tried the braised Akaushi ravioli (which was on the special menu and had a sweet pea and brown butter mushroom glaze), the chicken fried rice, local swordfish, and the black garlic dry-aged NY strip. Everything was really well done. You can tell a lot of thought goes into the ingredients and presentation. The drinks were also great and paired perfectly with dinner. The restaurant itself is beautiful and has such a cool atmosphere. There's an art gallery inside the dining room, and I loved the open-air kitchen where you can see everything happening. They also have a really nice patio outside. It was hot and raining when we went, so we didn't sit out there, but I would definitely love to come back and enjoy the patio another time! We were celebrating a birthday, and Cody, the GM, and Rosa, our server, were both fantastic and really made our night. They both were extremely knowledgeable about the menu and so helpful when we were deciding what to order. It really felt like an elevated experience. They even brought out dessert for the birthday celebration, which was such a thoughtful touch! Between the food, drinks, beautiful space, and amazing service, we had such a great experience and i will absolutely be coming back!!

What I love is that they use Wagyu beef and pork from their own ranch, Rancher's Reserve, and partner with local Florida farms and they offer a true southern hospitality. Check out their other location called the Steak shop off of Dixie Hwy. The service and atmosphere were Exceptional. Shoutout to Cody and our waiter for being so welcoming, patient, and sharing the history of the ranch. Now here's what we ordered: Akaushi Hanger Steak: Served with truffle crema, cowboy butter, and tallow-cooked sweet potato frites that melt in your mouth. Crispy, buttery, and the best sweet potatoes ever. I'd return just for this! Berkshire Rib Chop: My husband swapped the broccolini for an assorted carrots with apricot purée, wood-fired onion, and black garlic molasses. We are picky with steak temperatures and had to send ours back, but our waiter (wish I could remember his name) he was amazing and had it remade exactly right. Everything was seasoned perfectly! Carrot Cake: We took it to go and it was still delicious two days later. Truly the best we've ever had! We will definitely be back! Wishing them tons of success.
