Tess was an AMAZING waitress. She had great recommendations and service. The cornbread was delicious and great to share with 3 people. The accoutrements it came with took it to the next level. The BBQ jackfruit sandwich was flavorful along with the grits. Big portions too! Not pictured was the chocolate pecan tart for dessert which was 10/10 hands down. read more

Yup once again, a place on the list of must try's didn't disappoint.... My fiancé and I had an appointment in west palm and decided to give them a try since we were already up there. The vibe is nice it's kinda of a sports bar meets rustic restaurant kinda thing. You can sit outside or inside, we sat inside and that's were the fun begins. It was around noon so it was still brunch and we went with the endless mimosas (which last 90 minutes) to kick things off. We had the deviled eggs and skillet cinnamon rolls soo good. Shortly after we finished our apps the main course was out. I got the spicy chicken and waffles and my fiancé had the shrimp and grits. Listen that spicy chicken and waffle was hittin I was pleasantly surprised. They're also very generous with the portions I want to say I had half a chicken in my plate with a huge waffle. I didn't get to try my fiancés shrimp grits because I was too busy with my food but he said his was really good too. Overall it was a really nice experience and our waitress was really nice too!! I will definitely be going back. read more

This place is the best, awesome brunch, great menu, and all around good place to visit where you'll never leave disappointed.

Review for drinks only** Great vibes and even better cocktails! I love that they have a selection of carbonated cocktails on tap- something I have never seen before at a bar. I sampled both the Blackberry Lemonade and Bootlegger, which both were really good! The entire staff was very friendly and took the time to recommend different cocktails to us based on our preference. I decided to get the Cucumber Crush (12$) , and it was super refreshing and even had stripes of cucumber in it (loveee the nugget ice cubes). I also found out that they make all their bitters, tinctures, and syrups in house! Love this new bar and its a great addition to clematis! read more

Staff so nice and helpful. The Mac and Cheese was good If you like strong mixed drinks this location is for you. Their is something for everyone. read more

The cinnamon rolls and the biscuits are amazing. They are so delicious I could eat an order of each by myself, which is not good for my waistline, but I am willing to sacrifice a few inches for that deliciousness. The food at batch is ok. It's a little over salted. Their chicken pot pie is pretty delicious, but it lacks chicken. We got a batch that was filled only with bulb onions, lol...but the flavor was good, so we didn't complain. But now that I'm sitting here hungry writing this review and craving a chicken pot pie, I kinda hope if I go there that it will be a chicken pot pie, and not a bulb onion pot pie, because I kinda need my protein. Their burger hash is really good. I highly recommend it and they're chicken and waffles look really great, but I haven't tried it. So, maybe I will next time. read more

I love how the interior is decorated. Bronze tiled ceiling, pendant hanging lights, one wall filled with chalk board drawing ingredients and menu items, bar on the other side (seating at bar allowed) and a sign "Whiskey made me do it" on the back wall. Batch prides itself as serving fresh (farm to table), local sustainable crops, home made dishes and in house whiskey cocktails. We were in the West Palm area and looked on yelp for the best rib place in the area. Batch came up and the menu online had some extraordinary dishes listed. They also had 5 star reviews. Off to Clamatis Street we went. I had a hard time deciding between the St Louis Ribs and the Chicken and Waffles. I was going to order one and take the other home with me. Chicken and Waffles won and to my surprise, the size of the dish was huge!! Devilled Eggs and Burnt Ends for dessert. I was too full to order dessert (Bourbon Pecan Chocolate Tart I had my eye on). I will definitely be back for that!! Our waiter was friendly. It was not packed (it was a Saturday evening) and most people chose to sit outside. read more

Nice experience. We were seated quickly and Kayla took great care of us. The cucumber crush cocktail was yummy. We had oysters on the half shell, cornbread skillet and burnt ends as starters. Everything was amazing but the cornbread was everything. Fresh out of the oven and melt in your mouth deliciousness. For dinner we had St. Lois ribs with collard greens, chicken and waffles, and the mac attack with fried chicken. The ribs felll off the bone and the bbq was perfect. I usually don't like bbq sauce because it's too sweet or thick but the flavor and consistency were very well balanced. The greens had a little kick of spice and cooked to perfection. The chicken and waffles were the star of the dish with that fluffy cornbread waffle and half a chicken. I've never tasted a better waffle EVER! We added truffle oil to the mac attack and the fried chicken. It was yummy but I have two critiques. The mac could have been a bit cheesier and hot (it was warm) and the chicken was a fried breast (I would have preferred a thigh) . For those reasons, I gave a rating of 4. My overall impression is that I really enjoyed the food and the service. This is definitely a place I'll come to again and recommend to friends. Ask for Kayla. read more

We tried a little of everything here and it was all good. Some of the best fried chicken and waffles I've ever had.

Food was good.. service was alright but we had a very bad experience because we went for a bday. We called ahead to make reservations.. asked if we can take a cake to cut and sing they said yes. Great! No issue! But when they brought our bill they added $30 charge to hold our cake. It wasn't even a big cake and no one ever mentioned that to us! A $15 cake ended up costing us $45 because of this.. next rime please communicate you policy ahead of time Update... I had given them a 4 before .. taking one star because of an inconvenience.. however.. I am updating to a 5 star after being contacted directly and followed up several time by upper management! There is no way I can leave a 4 star after seeing and understanding that my issue was due to a small oversight! And with the type of customer service they have shown after the fact, proves that this place really has great service and there is no way I could leave it at the 4 stars! 5 star customer service to go with the 5star food! Thanks for everything read more

Loved this place. Visiting from out of town and we stopped here for an early dinner. We sat outside on a mild day and we were basically the only ones there. Our server was friendly and had plenty of recommendations for food and drinks. We were there during happy hour too which was a nice bonus! All of the drinks I had were great! The root beer alcoholic float was delicious. For food we got chicken and waffles, and the pulled pork Mac and cheese. Both were fantastic!! We also got bacon tots. These were also fire. Overall everything was excellent and I'm glad we stopped here. Parking was tougher, ended up parking in a nearby lot for a few bucks. read more

I came here for my birthday dinner as I had been wanting to try it and the outdoor seating during Covid is a plus. The outside was hopping-- a bit too much, actually. It was extremely noisy with a couple of rowdy tables, and then when they put the music on later during our meal it was nearly impossible to talk. The cornbread with thyme-chili honey and jam and butter is the best thing we shared. Heaven in cast iron. The biscuits were good, but not compared to the cornbread! The deviled eggs looked a lot prettier than those I make, but taste-wise they were just good. Good like the deviled eggs I make at home (and that anyone can make at home). The Mac & Cheese, a big feature on the menu as you have a choice of 10 add-ins, was tasty to me, but my friend found it too dry and not cheesy enough. He said he couldn't taste the Gouda at all. I thought we had agreed on the whisky caramelized onion add-in ($3 extra), but I honestly don't remember tasting anything like that and I even had the leftovers for breakfast. And finally the banana pudding ... that ranks right up there with the cornbread. A must if you are a fan of banana pudding. I saw another review complaining the drinks were overpriced and weak. I had five Whisky Sours at $12 apiece because it was my birthday and I wasn't paying, but I left there on my own two legs and didn't even slur or stumble. That shouldn't be. I almost always stick to beer or wine and have a low tolerance for hard alcohol. In any case, they tasted great. One last thing as I've seen customer service complaints in other reviews... our server Morgan was very good and always checked back. I have nothing bad to say about her. read more

So everything was pretty good. Upon arriving there was no host and we had to ask another waiter could we sit. We were told to just wait a second and the host should be coming..uhh, ok lol. Finally got seated after about 5 minutes, mind you it was pretty empty.. so we met the waiter and she was sweet but not the most attentive. She literally didn't even give us her name. And we had to keep searching for her.. still, very sweet. So she still got a tip. Now the FOOD!! The deviled eggs were decent in flavor but the filling was too runny and turned us off completely. The bacon was a nice touch and added the flavor that the eggs needed so I was able to eat and few but my gf was like NO lol. The bbq pulled pork egg rolls were so damn good lol. We both loved them! Will be back for these. My chicken pot pie was amazingggg. I plan on going and grabbing that tomorrow to-go for lunch. The biscuit was so fresh and fluffy and thick and just everything I needed. Definitely a great dish. Now.. the bbq pork ribs, "compressed" watermelon and greens. We switched the greens for mash potatoes which honestly were nothing special and needed salt. The ribs were ok but not really tender enough. I like my ribs to fall off the bone, and they need to add more bbq sauce. We had to request more. And the waiter really hyped us about this watermelon and the process of them adding sugar and salt and vacuum sealing it closed so it can be sweet and blah blah blah.. that watermelon was hard and bitter and barely juicy lmao. I'm like girl, you hyped me for this? But all in all, the appetizers were pretty good and MY meal was good. My gf's really wasn't though. We'll be back. read more

Had to sit outside because of the noise inside but the speakers out side were full blast making conversation almost impossible. This was a fantastic spot for dinner and a little bit of loudness(loved it). Tessa our waitress was the extra ginger that one needs in every drink. Her service was impeccable to go with the great food served here. We were a table of 5 that grew to 7 and they were accommodating on a Friday night. We started off the night with some sample of the fizz drinks. Most of the table were sold on the sweetness/citrus of the 305 Collins. The child among us had a Blackberry Mint Lemonade and expressed her delight from the first sip. I had Strawberry, Honey, & Lime Spritz. Drinks were a refreshing delight to start the night. We ordered the skillet cornbread and burnt ends. The skillet Corn bread was great especially the jam that was served up with it. I have become accustomed to the originators of burnt ends in Kansas City. Next, we had the Salmon & Crawfish Etouffee(don't let the pecan Gremolata fool you) it was light taste and something I would never have guessed should be placed on a New Orleans staple. My cousin got the short ribs on the table. It was a newer dish. It was also from my understanding scrumptious ;). Tessa highly suggested since my partner and I had never been one of us had to get the chicken and waffles. It was a MASSIVE amount, but tasty. The syrups were delicious. I like the one that had an ample love of whiskey(it would be perfect in a hot tea) a whole hot toddy. The decor and atmosphere of the place is inviting in a downtown area plus has the effort farm to table vibe in the middle of West Palm Beach. Our waitress Tessa did an amazing job bringing warmth, friendliness and southern hospitality with a smile and grace. She interacted with everyone at the table including the child. She made one feel at home and at ease in a busy restaurant and that can sometimes be challenge when serving a ton of people. She did an excellent job. There are few restaurants that I will travel back to, this may be one of them especially for a group outing with adults. One piece- be prepared to look/pay for parking in this area. read more

We sat outside and really enjoyed the area. Even though the street can be a little loud, it was fun to enjoy. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The deviled eggs were incredible. The oysters were really good and I enjoyed the relish vinaigrette on top. I also had the shrimp and grits, but wouldn't necessarily recommend. The shrimp was delicious but the grits are jalapeño, yet not very flavorful. The kitchen was a little slow but the drinks according to my wife were good and strong. read more

My girlfriend and I were in search of a place to get some authentic southern comfort food during our vacation in the area. The restaurant was one of the top recommendations on google, so we figured we'd try it out. The location is beautiful, situated on a strip filled with things to do before and after (parks, shops, hookah!). Our server, Michelle, was super informative, a great conversation and overall very attentive. The food absolutely BLEW OUR MINDS! I cannot understate how good the Shrimp and Grits was, and my girlfriend finished her entire Jambalaya, despite never having had the dish before. Recently had a chance to stop by Batch, one of my favorite place for a great evening of Southern comfort food. Began the evening with Burt Evans, smoked beef, brisket, root beer, barbecue sauce, and crispy onions for the main course. I had the pecan crusted salmon nice big piece with plenty of pecan crust on it. I just moved to Miami, and I'm so bummed I didn't take the time to go here when I lived closer. I was up for a weekend and went for brunch and I really dig the menu. Every time I've been it been packed! Seem to be a happening spot! The first time i got the burger. It was good and the meat cook perfectly, but the burger was a little on the salty side. Usually you have the opposite problem with meats. Though It wasn't so bad i could eat it but still a little salty for me and i like salt! I decided to give them a second shot and got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich! It was killer, just enough spicy. The slaw and pickles calmed it down and added an extra texture to it! Again the bun killer!! I love how it was toasted and crispy! The fries crunchy and i love crunchy fries! Now to go back for the desserts!!! read more

Great food and service. I had the chicken and waffles which were really good. The chicken was seasoned & cooked well but the waffles without syrup were tasteless. My little sister had the Tennessee hot chicken sandwich (great call from our waitress on her getting the peppers on the side if you're not a spicy person). My mother had the salmon which to me was the star of the show. The salmon was cooked to perfection & I absolutely loved the pickled cabbage. We had heard good things about this place. We were seated as the place was empty at 7 PM on a Thursday night. Took 10 minutes to get a server to the table. After deciding on drinks, it took 20 minutes to receive them. Again we were the only ones in there! Ordered some appetizers they came out looking nice but they tasted... mediocre at best. Wife got the deviled eggs.... I tasted them and they tasted funny ...like sour. I got the spring rolls. Once again nothing great. We left and went home. After an hour of being home my wife balled up crying on the floor from stomach pain. Which took three hours to go away. We had lunch here last Saturday as a party of 13. The staff was great and everyone said that the food was delicious except for one person whose Nashville Chicken Sandwich was way over cooked. The atmosphere is open and bright and the seating was comfortable enough. I had the Mac Attack with grilled chicken for $21.50, which was the best mac & cheese I have ever had!
