Overall 3.5 -Associates 3.5 - could improve this is why I am not giving them 4 stars...they get the job done, but they looked like they hated being there, N hated customers for going. But they made me another cappucino blast without questioning my reasoning, or getting lippy. It was a trainee that made it the first time, and it didn't taste as good as it did my first visit. I received a birthday coupon in my email, which offers a free birthday scoop, to me an adult! I went to use it at this Baskin Robbins and ordered a cone being an adult and then I was told at the register that it is only free for a child scoop. This Baskin Robbins locations is not as good as the others. This location does not do specials, has a problem accepting coupons from the Entertainment book (which has no exclusions on the coupon & not advertised in store that they do not accept the Baskin Robbins coupons from the Entertainment Book), has hit or miss customer service (one employee always seems in a bad mood and another is friendly), and the location is very hot! The last few times I walked into this location I felt as though I was walking into a sauna. They are too cheap to fix the air conditioning and I break into a sweat waiting to be helped and to receive my order. Can't wait to get back outside! lol. Sometimes they are out of the flavor I want as well. Still, the ice cream is good and if I'm desperate for ice cream and I'm nearby, I go here or to the Cold Stone just down the street. read more

My experience here has been inconsistent. The first 2 times were nice. The same young Asian guy was friendly & generous with the scoops. The place inside was nice & cool. The third visit tonight, however, was so-so. The outside was cooler than the inside & the table my wife & I sat at was shaky & unstable. And the guy that served us - a short, facial-haired, chubby guy with a necklace on - wasn't friendly and didn't seem to speak very good English. And our 2-scoop sundae was more like 1 & 1/4. Don't go here, don't give them any money before yo pick up your order. We had ordered some mini ice cream cones for a birthday party and were supposed to pick them up at 11 on Sunday but we couldn't make it till a little after 12 and they still were not open when we got there. The shop next-door said they had not seen anyone open the shop yet. So good thing my wife did not pre pay for the ice cream cones or we would have been out of luck. This is the worst place to order your ice cream cake. I had order an ice cream cake for my niece's birthday and they forgot to take out the plastic wrap in between the ice cream cake. I had served half of the cake to my guests and by that time one of the kids we're choking on a piece of plastic from the cake. All the guest we're frantic cuz they didn't know if their kids had eaten the plastic already. I had to throw out the cake and apologizes to all the parents. We called the BR on Meat street and they said no manger was available to address the problem. I told them this is unacceptable because this is a dangerous problem and need immediate attention. I asked them to check if anymore of the ice cream cake had plastic wrap inside. They brush me off as if though I'm making this up. The cashier called the owner but he said " have her called back tomorrow and talk to the cake decorator about this problem" and he told her to tell me that it's Not his problem but it's the cake's decorator fault. How can a owner tell your customer that it's not your problem and go take it up with your employee. I was so furious that I had to call the corporate office to address the issue. The danger here is that many of the cakes that came out of this business may of have plastic inside of it and he should have adddredd those issue instead of brushing me off like it's no big deal. I have video footage and pictures to prove what was inside the cake. Till today I never got my refund nor did the owner ever call to apologize for ruining my party. I was so stress out because I was worried that my guests. The corporate people never did much to address this issue because they said it's a franchise own so they have very little quality control over each location. My advice is to be careful when you deal with businesses that have no backing from the corporate office. No one will look out for you. Plastic seran wrap is toxic if they use it in the freezer. This is an issue that concerns me and the safety process that is overlooked by the poor quality control. Just imagine if your 5 year old child ate the plastic and could have choke on it how would you feel. This is my issue within Baskin Robbin corporate and the business owner. Someone said they won't give you the $1.31 scoop unless you ask. That's strange because it's been just three hours since that happened to that person but I just asked for "one scoop of pralines and cream in a cup" and no mention of price, they replied, "that will be $1.31" I think this place should get only 3 stars because the location sux to high hell. The parking is cramped and when you're backing out, you have to be so careful not to hit the fence or another car or a person. Then pulling out onto the street, if someone wants to right turn in, they're screwed and you hope they aren't going to get rammed from behind. The drive in entrance is only big enough for one car. I am only giving them 4 because the inside is a lot nicer than most Baskin Robbins - no glaring nasty skin uglifying bright lights and because I don't want them to go out of business like the one down the street and even the one down on 17th and Tustin. I am sick of these yogurt places taking over. Frozen yogurt SUX. It's expensive - no $1.31 days - and it will always have a sour taste because hello - it is yogurt!! We have too fricken many frozen yogurt places on Tustin Ave. I will keep my fingers crossed that more go out of business like Golden Spoon. Hurray for Baskin Robbins!! read more

To start off it is really hot inside which makes it so in pleasant to be there. Only one worker working with a line of people on a day they have a special, needs to be staffed better. Just writing to defend the employee who was there when the person who wrote the negative review on oct 31 (Teresa A) was. I knew she'd write a review because it's obvious she is only happy when she's miserable. The owners or franchise can contact me and I will be happy to give you an account of what happened if she made a formal complaint, but your employee was nothing but completely nice, civil and in my opinion, overly understanding with the woman. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the original scoop, but She berated him for a good 7-8 minutes, he was very calm and explained prices and scoops sizes to her, while all she did was complain complain complain. Finally after she bullied him into getting her way...and STILL said she was going to complain, myself and another woman waiting in line jumped to your employee's defense and she starts a screaming match with us and the other woman's friend. ...and he did give her the 1.50 price, so she is lying there. I would have thrown her out of there without any ice cream, but your employee was calm and a complete professional in dealing with her. read more

My husband and two year old son just took a visit to this location. I give it only two stars for the following reason. We've been there three times since it's opening. The employees are never very friendly. This particular time our total bill was $2.99. I totally forgot our debit card and I had $2 or a $100 bill. They couldn't break $100 because they had already done their "drop". Instead of just taking our $2 they took the ice cream away and left us to either leave empty handed or go home and get $.99.
