Wow, just wow. I mean that in the worst possible way. I went on the Baskin Robbins website to place an order for a cake. The site has been down for several days, no matter what device I use, the order doesn't process and directs me to call the branch. I call this branch, and explain the issue with the website, and the man on the line seems confused. I explain that I'd like to order the cake directly from them, over the phone. He puts me on hold, and shortly after hangs up on me. I call back several times (6 times), and now they're not even answering the phone anymore. I go in on my birthday for my free birthday scoop. I order a scoop and then go to pay with my code. He says, oh, a birthday scoop is only 2.5 ounces. So he dumps my scoop. Wow, that's all I can say AND NOT IN A GOOD WAY! Got a bunch of milkshakes to go for family. And got home to try my chocolate milkshake and I've had better chocolate milkshakes at In&Out and other hamburger joints than this Baskin Robbin's which is really sad since they're in the ice cream business. My recommendation is skip buying your milkshake here and go less than a mile down the road to Wendy's for a frosty or McDonald's for a shake. And just in case you think it's just the shakes, my son got a cup of Pralines & Cream ice cream and pralines were soggy and mushy. read more

Very friendly and attentive staffs. Very helpful and nice. Stopped by to grab some ice cream for the kid. Ordered a 2-scoop cookie n cream. Pretty large scoop. Place is neat and clean compared to other location that I've been to. Staffs wear masks and gloves. Hand sanitizer is provided at the cashier area. A plexi glass is still use for safety reason. If I could give less than, I definitely would. There was only one customer there when we entered and the young man looked up but did not greet us. Since my favorite flavor, Love Potion is seasonal and I had just ordered at the BR in Manteca, I was surprised this shop didn't have it. Most of the ice cream containers were empty! The store was a complete mess and not once did the young man smile, STILL! When he did speak, it was extremely quiet, near a whisper. Still, no smile, no eye-to-eye contact, complete lack of any interpersonal skills. The store was filthy, from the tables to the ice cream containers, the floor and every surface one could see!!! If I could give this baskin robins zero stars I would! DO NOT ORDER CAKES FROM HERE! I ordered a $45 ice cream cake online for my birthday and went to pick it up today. I was utterly shocked when they brought the cake out for me to take a look at First of all who ever frosted this cake should not be in this business, it was so sloppily frosted and looked absolutely horrible. The cake looked nothing like the photo online, the colors weren't even close! The stripes aren't even straight and you can clearly see where they had to keep stopping. The writing on top was atrocious and not centered on the cake! To say I was disappointed would be an understatement... I order cakes from this store ever year for birthday and have never had an issue and the cakes always looked great, not sure what changed I was in tears over how bad my cake looked and the manager did absolutely nothing. He was rude and obviously does not care about the customer. He did not offer any discounts or refund. I will never be going back here! This establishment should not be in business if they can't have people who can decorate a cake. I went to Baskin Robbins a few weeks ago. When I was rung up I wanted to tip the hard working employees digitally. However they only accepted physical tip. I at the time did not have cash on me so I couldn't leave them anything. The owner of the place should really consider adding a digital tip option on because not everyone carries cash on them. Wow I am genuinely blown away by the service that was provided today. When I walked in the smell of waffles cones being made was blissfully amazing. The workers greeted me eagerly and were always being attentive to all that were in the store. I noticed how especially polite they were even in the rush of many customers, still managing by to help everyone in a timely fashion. I went to Baskin-Robbins to use my buy one get one free scoop coupon on the BR app. I ordered 2 scoops. At the time of paying the clerk charged me for 2 scoops. I presented the coupon on the app and the clerk would not honor it. He said because I ordered 2 scoops the coupon would not work. He refused to honor the coupon. Very disappointing customer service. For reference I attached a screen print of the coupon details. No where does it say you have to verbally say I will order one scoop and then ask for the second to be free. The worst service ever received at this Baskin Robin Dublin location. I got a birthday treat - a free scoop coupon and it is valid with a numeric code or a scannable code. The manager there was very rude and kept saying his machine can't scan the code because it's not a bar code. I explained that there's a numeric code you can enter instead. He ignored me and served others. I ended up driving back to Castro valley store and they were so much better service. They used the same machine and just scanned my code and gave me an ice cream scoop with cone. Today I asked for a milkshake with mint chip ice cream, came out like water, tasting like milk. Went back and asked for it to be remade, which the scooper obliged to, but it's the SAME CONSISTENCY. We were here last week and serviced by a young girl. She was sweet and got my daughter two big kid scoops on cone. Price isn't the best in town, but service was good. We paid what we got. The experience was pleasant. Today, we have got a completely opposite experience and serviced by the boss. Scoops were so small (maybe just our order). It's a typical Baskin Robbins, nothing different here. I happen to like Baskin Robbins. They always have plenty of flavors. I like that they offer kid cones and smaller portions. I really like that they list all the calories and have slightly healthier choices (reduced sugar, reduced fat, sherberts and the like). My husband and I are trying a reduced sugar kick so we only ordered cones for the kids. Service was friendly,and the kids loved the colorful sherbert they picked out. It's all about the visual for them. Of course, I ended up "helping" my daughter lick the cone so it wouldn't drip. So much for my reduced sugar diet. The sherbert was delicious. read more

PLUS, this particular Baskin Robins is the only location that doesn't consistently run out of my favorite flavor: Wild N' Reckless! Seriously perfect and fruit, just how I like it. I can't pinpoint it's exact flavor, but it's a true addiction and I love it. My friend lives in west Dublin, so we often make the trip out here when we can after doing some shopping or just feel like demolishing insane amounts of Ice Cream The waffle cone is so good, too. Sometimes on the right day, I treat myself to a double scoop, but usually can't end up finishing it. You get a lot of ice cream for what you end up paying.
