This place is a GEM! I first discovered Basa 4 years ago and it's just as great. Prices, quantity, and QUALITY are all on point. It is a hole-in-the-wall no frills spot and feels a little like a fish market. Don't be fooled by how it looks, the food is superior to many. I placed my order there, and was out in about 10 minutes. They have most of their cold items prepped and visible in the front for fast grab for those who are interested in strictly poke. The spicy salmon is a tad bit spicy for me because I'm weak but if you can handle normal spice, you'll love this. Negihama roll was also delicious and perfect bite size. Basa Seafood Express has everything from clams , fish and chips , lobster, poke, to salmon burgers. I wanted to order the raw oysters but they were not available but for some reason the fried oysters were available with french fries. The fried oysters were fresh and lightly fried and tasty and had its original flavor even in that batter and the fries were lightly seasoned and complemented the oysters. I then had their sushi rolls which was a combination of a California roll and the warm Volcano roll which was very tasty with the right amount of flavor in each roll. I always get their sashimi. The raw fish of the sashimi has good texture and it was so fresh and melted in my mouth. There is no seating at Basa so I went to a nearby place to grab a table and a drink in an open-air patio.
