We love the food. Great bagels and bagel sandwiches. I love the turkey on an everything bagel. The service was fast and they got our order correct. The atmosphere was a lot like a deli. A few tables to eat at.

Seemed dirty. Bathroom was hideous. Took a long time for a prepaid order to be completed. They didn't have the iced coffee I ordered, which was on their menu. Our egg meat and cheese bagels were like warm at best. Very dissatisfied.

I've only been here twice, but it's a solid location. Wait isn't too bad - workers move pretty fast. The seating is a bit meh - it's not that comfy or really a place I'd want to hang out at. But it's one of the very few places that serves a lox and bagel. Plus - its local to Ohio and Michigan, so it's a great place to support!

Who doesn't love a Barry's bagel? The food is always delicious. My only problem is the cleanliness of this location. It is in serious need of a good scrub and a remodel. Every time I go I have to clean off my own table and chair. The floor looks grimy and don't even look at the ventilation system in the ceiling. I can't believe Perrysburg people don't demand better.

Love Barry bagels but this location takes forever to get through. Maumee one is much more efficient.

Keep an eye on All Crumbs Bakery's Facebook page and website. They take online orders up until midnight Thursday for Saturday pickup, and their bread is truly incredible. It's actually a bit puzzling how good it all is. Every single thing I've tried, from their chocolate filled croissants, to their burger buns... everything they produce is perfect. It's like some sort of culinary witchcraft. In some cases, it ends up being the highlight of whatever meal the bread is paired with. The textures and flavors they produce are outstanding and surprisingly memorable. Wonderfully outstanding bread is a THING in Toledo. Grab a loaf (or roll) as soon as you can! This is hands down the best bread available in Toledo. There isn't even a close second out there. Want to know more? Panera in general has changed so much over the course of their existence that I really don't eat here too much any more. The portions and the prices typically don't make it a good value or choice. The menu has changed. No you pick 2. It's now mix and match. And you get specific choices to choose from. I couldn't decide between a sandwich or a salad so I got the mix and match. Half a bacon turkey bravo and half a ranch parm blt. Came out timely. And they were decent. The sandwich was stacked and fresh. Salad was good too. I can't complain really. This location is easy off the highway which is what I wanted. I am on my way home and wanted something good for me and quick. This seemed like a good choice. It was. They have a fireplace in the middle, lots of booths and tables. Large parking area. Good crowd. The only issue is table cleanliness. Which is an issue at most. Took me a bit to settle and find a seat. Not a bad experience and food was good.

I used to order the Frontega chicken sandwich and liked the combination of flavors, but this preparation was apparently lacking any sauce and the prepared chicken was cold and dry. The tomato soup was fine. I also ordered a chocolate croissant that was so stale that it didn't even have the flaky bite of a croissant. The only redeeming part of my meal was the green tea. It was very refreshing and the highlight of an otherwise extremely unpleasant meal.

Things to do along I-75 N/S to and from the Detroit area (1 of 2)…read more I had to spend a few days in the Detroit area and I-75, featured in black and white on Eminem's excellent Super Bowl commercial, is the route on which I'd be driving. I have become increasingly tired of Starbucks, but less so of other chain coffeehouses. That said, I always seek out the independent coffeehouses. Mostly, I was sold on the name (Rustbelt) of this coffeehouse in Downtown Toledo, just a few blocks from the small cluster of downtown mid-rises. Inside, it has the open floor plan with exposed ceilings up above, which works very well here and fits the industrial Rust Belt mood. The seating options were to my liking: big butcher block type tables meant to be shared, smaller tables, and upholstered seating with coffee tables. I wish I could have stayed at Rustbelt longer. It was a warm and humid summer day and I had an iced tea and a pastry. The items were tasty. The pricing was fair and the service was unremarkable, but did lean toward being good natured. Parking is available right in front along the street, should you want to keep an eye on your car. That said, I couldn't get a read on the location ... it seemed that there were other eateries and bars nearby, so maybe that meant it was okay. Also, I couldn't figure out where the customer base came from. Usually, bohemian coffeehouses have bohemian enclaves nearby where the bohemian people live. I didn't see any, or maybe I didn't look long enough. I couldn't imagine them being suburbanites. Lastly, I believe I've always seen Rust Belt spelled as two words. If they want to stylize this and go with one word, that's their prerogative. So, what you have here at Rustbelt Coffee are good tea/coffee with pastries to choose from, fair prices, decent service, and a spacious open interior plan where the climate control system was working very well. That sounds like 4 stars to me.

They roast their own coffee beans and have them on display for purchase just under the cash register. Most of the bags I looked at, beans had been roasted in the last week so they are fresh! I love that they make their syrups in house to give the coffee better flavor. I originally wanted a Lavender latte but they were out of the syrup. I pivoted to the Salted Caramel Latte. The beans had a good medium roast flavor to them, syrup flavor was subtle but present, but my drink could have been hotter. My husband got a Masala Chai Latte. We noticed his drink was made from a chai concentrate bought; it overall was ok. I recommend staff labeling drink cups going forward as they couldn't remember which was which after placing on the counter. Either way, this was a great coffee shop stop and offers some great seasonal options.
