The food is always great here and the staff is amazing. I just picked up an order to go for a client of mine and I'm just amazed at how friendly the staff is and great price as well!

Pepperoni with black olives (small)

Ordered my pizza online, I wish they had time specific to chose but they don't. It was ready when I got there and it was okay but felt they were a bit stingy with the black olives. I mean, they're olives!! Why so cheap? :-/

I visited Barros on a Sunday night around 9pm. As you walk in you order your pizza at the front and then you find yourself a seat, I ordered a 10in mega meat with jalapeños. It took about 15 minutes for my pizza to arrive. I'd say the pizza was good, not great, not bad either. Plenty of toppings and the crust was good. My only complaint would be the sauce wasn't all that favorable. I finished the whole pizza and headed out. The staff was friendly and there are plenty of tv's to watch while you wait for your pizza.

Mug Root Beer

My only complaint is they don't have Ground Beef as their topping. I hope they will consider it. Did you know they are Chicago-style pizza? I did not know that. This was my first time trying this place out. Veggie Pizza- THE CRUST IS THE BEST IN PHOENIX!!!. You will need to get dipping sauce for the crust. I choose ranch. The edges are puffy. Veggies cut right! Medium good for two Fried Mozzarella- Good! Mug Root Beer- I can't complain The best time to go here is around 3 pm-5 pm. I will go back here! Service is good. I love the decor in this place with LCD tvs.

Medium Dairy free pineapple mushrooms

Ordered pizza to go a handful of times and every time satisfied. I've also dined in and I was happy with that as well. Friendly service always! I always get the pizza with the dairyfree cheese and pineapple. Family loves the pasta and the meat pizza. We're all happy and enjoy the variety of options as we all like different things, so we'll keep coming back!

Re-reviewing Barro's b/c they've upped their pizza game: * Crust is heftier (which we love - not too thin but not too thick) *Cheese to ratio crust is unbelievable - oozing w/ so much melty deliciousness! * Not sure if cheese is mozzarella or a type of mozzarella called scarmoza, which is more stringy/melty but I love how much cheese tops their pizza * The sauce is slightly spicy w/ garlic/oregano * The pepperoni features a generous amount of slices * The vegetarian features lots of veggies This review is not for dining in, but picking up two different times to go...

Same good Vegan Pie & a better red wine to offer. In addition to the pizza, they offer wings, pasta, cold subs & desserts. I have to state that the customer service here tops the other location I've been to at 24th/Baseline...no shade though. For Carry Out orders, customers are treated to dedicated parking spaces up front, adjacent to the huge parking lot next to the restaurant. Personal note, the young ladies behind the counter catered to my GrandDaughter with such welcoming & friendly care, it was impressive & much appreciative. When in the area, I'll be back.

It is awful. Staff tries but food is below standard, no flavor, not enough workers for the business.

The first thing that stands out is the massive, beautifully maintained outdoor seating area. It's covered, pet-friendly, and thoughtfully designed with fireplaces and privacy walls that give each table a more intimate feel. There's even an outdoor bar where you can grab a drink while you wait or just enjoy the atmosphere. Inside, the décor is incredibly creative. Butcher knives and custom cutting boards line the walls, and the open kitchen showcases hanging meats so you can see everything in action. The bakery area adds another layer of charm, with rolling pins and whisks hanging from the ceiling, it all feels intentional and immersive without being over the top. The menu is just as fun and different as the space itself. I started with the Sicilian wedge and then had to go for what they're known for, the handcrafted meatballs. You can mix and match meatballs with different pastas, but the real showstopper is the "meatball carousel." It lets you sample multiple meatballs with their recommended sauces, all presented on an elaborate Ferris wheel-style display that turns heads across the restaurant. It's a full experience, not just a meal. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. What truly made the night, though, was our server, Mia. She struck that perfect balance of fun and professional, engaging, attentive, and genuinely enjoyable to interact with. She guided us through the menu, made great recommendations, and brought a level of energy that elevated the entire experience. You can tell she takes pride in what she does, and it shows. For dessert, we went with the traditional Sicilian cannoli stuffed with Nutella and a lemon tart that was so good I'd honestly consider flying back just to have it again. This place delivers on every level, atmosphere, creativity, food, and service. I'll absolutely be making this a regular stop anytime I'm in Phoenix.

The setting does a lot of the work: a large, charming garden with plenty of outdoor seating that gives the whole place a cozy, almost village feel. Inside, there's a small bar that's tough to get into, but it's really your only option if you're walking in without a reservation and don't want to wait an hour or more. The kitchen is usually the highlight. With an Italian chef behind it, everything leans fresh and well executed--pizzas consistently shine, and the salads are just as strong. This time, though, the bolognese was a miss. The pasta was clearly overcooked, which stood out given how reliable the food typically is--felt more like an off night than the norm. The wine-by-the-glass list is solid and approachable, and the many awards feel well deserved overall. A diverse staff adds to the cosmopolitan yet relaxed atmosphere. Even with the misstep, Cibo holds its place as one of the better all-around dining experiences downtown.

There is a bar in one room, a dining room with tables, banquettes, and booths, and a really nice patio in front. We had reservations, and the host took us directly to our table after asking what our preference for seating was. I would suggest getting reservations, because there were people waiting who didn't have reservations. Our server was delightful. She was very helpful and offered suggestions when I couldn't make up my mind. The cocktails and food were delicious. I think that they have one of the best red sauces on their meatballs that I've ever had. My only complaint was that it was very hot in the dining room. I did eventually mention it to the server who agreed it was very hot and said she would see what she could do, but soon after that we left. It might just be this weird time of year - - who is expecting it to be in the 90s this time of year?

Watered down soup, watered down sauce and UNDER COOKED pasta. The only thing that tasted good was the focaccia bread with cheese on it. Service: The hostess was obviously incapable of being a hostess. She sat out group outside under the mister in 70 degree weather. The kids were freezing and bird poop was on the table. All she did was make a joke and refused to move us to another table. We've asked the waiter to turn off the mister, situation still not resolved so the manager or owner comes out. He absolutely has no customer service himself. Only gave us the excuse that the misters stay on. Which is fine but we've asked to move at the beginning of our arrival and by the time we got our food, it got so cold from being outside with the mister on. The manager didn't offer any means to resolve our unpleasant experience. After we expressed our experience and asked for a check because we're ready to leave, he then finally offers for the food to be remade. There's no way we'd want the bad food to be made again. Food is not worth the price, customer is even worst. Rosso Italian, I kindly ask you to look up the meaning of customer service, al dente and maybe if you've time, learn how to properly make a sauce that's not 90% watered down, This is for your own good. Learn it and if you can't read, then have someone educate you on it. Also, get yourself a new manager and hostess. You're welcome.

An extra treat was that they have bottles of spicy oil on the tables, so I was able to enjoy the crusts by slathering them with the tasty oil as though they were breadsticks. On the way out, after mentioning to the bartender how good the oil was, I was gifted a couple of condiment cuplets to-go, which was a thoughtful and nice touch and sort of made up for the server who wasn't particularly warm or informative as I had to ask about the specials and whether or not all the pasta is freshly made, etc. Heck, if you have a great selling point like homemade pasta, talk it up and get us to drooling! There is a variety of seating available, including outside and at the bar--bar has an inside section as well as outside which is a nice design for the lovely weather days. However, it's unfortunate that the outdoor seating is on such a busy traffic corner, so it's not the little retreat it would otherwise be. The lunchtime music was more like happy hour music, not conducive to conversation--maybe for the cellphones-at-the -table crowd it's okay, but being near the Phoenix Art Museum and Arizona Opera, why not add to the cultural experience of the area by celebrating its Italian origins with some Italian music? Even if just added as interludes during every few pieces, it would enhance the ambiance. We had to raise our voices to carry on our conversation, but it was manageable. However, when I came back the next week with a friend with a hearing impairment, it became more problematic. She tried adjusting her hearing aids, but the thumping rhythm kept taking precedence as we tried to find a quieter corner, but it wasn't possible as it is a small space and speakers were close to each table. I felt so bad that she couldn't enjoy a meal there--we both were so looking forward to having a fresh pasta dish, but just couldn't stay. Upon leaving, I felt I should let management know why so I waited to speak to him, offering constructive criticism about the sound level but he was not the least apologetic nor said he would take it under advisement, but was completely dismissive and harrumphy as though we were annoying problems and not potential regulars with suggestions worthy of consideration. How hard would it be to have a quieter area or make a speaker accessible with volume control? People, whether on the spectrum, with hearing impairments, or just lovers of good conversation deserve respect and when it is not given, will go elsewhere....
