We were disappointed there's no stools at the bar so you can't sit there. We had to figure out after sitting at a table for 5 minutes that there's no table service. Then, we were told someone would be with us shortly when we went to the bar to order. After a few minutes of waiting, another person came from the back. When the pizza came the server asked if we wanted forks. I said I do because Iof recent dental work. The server returned and told me they ran out of forks but were running some through the dishwasher. The sad thing is, there wasn't another in the restaurant! I wonder what the service is like when/if it's busy. A few minutes later I was able to try my slice. Although the crust was a little too thick and heavy for my taste, the pizza was delightfully delicious! The servers were polite but the service wasn't stellar. I am surprised by this review. It has been many years since I have been to a Barros. We used to go when the kids were little. I am a pizza snob in general and I have to say this was a really good meal. I was not expecting to like the pizza as much as I did. I received a welcome to the neighborhood packet in the mail and inside it included a free large pizza coupon from Barros. Not a chain pizza gal myself but I was very grateful for the coupon so stopped by, I ordered a side of meatballs and a salad with the large Sausage Pizza. The salad was huge. All of the food was really good and I had enough leftovers for three more meals. They have a nice small patio and the service was very friendly. The interior is really large, was clean, and nicely decorated. I was expecting more of a take out counter. All was good. I do have to say too many people were maskless though. Place an order online, arrive at the designated time to be told first that you never received the order (despite the confirmation emails and charges to my account). Next was "we saw you had 2 orders under your name so we just didn't make one of them" (but did in fact charge for it anyway). Then it was "some guy picked that order up already. Finished off by "we'll need to remake everything because the order wasn't in our system". So here I sit 20 minutes past my scheduled pickup time, waiting for an entire new order and preparing for how to explain to my staff they only get about 5 minutes to stuff as much as they can into their face before they'll need to get back to caring for our patients. Should be fun, especially since if the order isn't ready very soon, they won't even get 5 minutes. But calories don't come from just smelling it, so that's a positive. If you've got nothing but free time and patience, and appreciate a business that takes no accountability for their service issues; the food is usually worth it. Won't be choosing them for any more corporate or scheduled events however. read more

Last night the girl at the cash register purposely lost my ticket and gave someone else my food, so they offered to remake, brought the pizza home and it was LACED with HAIR! Extremely unorganized. They have two cashiers open with seemingly two lines, with people lining up in front of each cashier . I found out after waiting 5 minutes it's actually all one line??? No one bothered to try and organize the line in anyway or tell the customers there is not in fact two lines. Ended up having to go the back of the line behind some other rude people. Been picking up from this location for a few years. The staff is always very nice and helpful. I always order with the website and on most occasions the pizza is ready in the specified time. I like the curbside pick up spots at the front so I can pull in and go right in. The restaurant is also very large with lots of outdoor seating. I would recommend this restaurant! read more

Frankly, if you're going to charge what you do, without bothering to invest in a productive or effective ordering app... you do not deserve a space in the market of a city moving forward into a world where (by God!) a lady can expect her ranch to show up when she orders TWO ranch cups! Never again. I live close to this location and my order has been wrong 3 times in a row. They really need to clean house there because I don't experience this at any other barros location. I order extra sauce on my wings and they come dry with no sauce. No apologies ever. This time I had to drive all the way back there and they couldn't care less. No attempt to make it right. Pizza is delicious, but takes a long time, more than 30 minutes if you are dining in. Plan on waiting for your pizza. Also, Gaby H, the young lady who took our order, is unpleasant. After we waited so long for our pizza, when she brought it to our table, she basically "dropped" off the pizza, plates and napkins and walked away. Didn't offer us silverware or anything. I called in an order and they said it would take 25 minutes. When I got there they said it wasn't ready and they had made a mistake and I would have to wait 7 more minutes. At this time it had been 35 minutes since I called in the order. At 40 minutes past I asked how long it would be and was told 4 more minutes. That's 9 minutes not 7. I am so happy that Barro's opened up in my neighborhood. The new Central avenue location is the perfect edition to this area. Barro's is pizza from my childhood, the food was amazing, and it wasn't nostalgia kicking in! The breadsticks with cheese and boneless wings were large portions and the pizza was delicious. Delicious and reasonably priced. The lunch special is filling and a good value. I've been going for years and love the place.

My wife and I, came to dine in, on Monday night and they exceeded our expectations. The 2 counter employee's, Kim and Jason were very welcoming from the beginning and took care of us both from placing our order to being served our delicious food. They both ensured we had everything we needed to enjoy our dinner. Food wait time was not too long and pizza came straight out of the oven. Stopped by for some hot wings last week. I've been to like, 3 other Barros locations, and you have to appreciate the consistency. They have some of the best wings in the Valley, and these things were huge! So meaty! The temperature wasn't quite hot enough, but they were so good that I can overlook that. They were cooked enough to render the fatty parts of the wings, which is key. I know I should take more photos, but I'm not always eating my meals planning on doing a review. read more

I have never dined in here, but I have used many of their coupons to order pizza and wings to go. Their wings are amazing! While their pizza is your typical kind like Dominos, Papa Johns, or Pizza Hut, they do what those chains do, but only better! Very tasty pizza on the affordable side.
