I was excited to try Barro's pizza today for lunch. I had never been and when we walked in we waited to be seated. Even though we were the only people in the restaurant we were not greeted or helped for about 5 minutes until I walked to the counter and was very rudely told that I need to order up at the counter. Their pizza is good, but try being more friendly to first timers. Especially when there is no sign indicating what to do. read more

Never again coming back to this Barro's Pizza. Horrible customer service again - the girls in the from are more interested in gossiping between each other than assisting customers. We came here a few weeks ago and ordered a pizza took almost an hour to get after I went up and asked THREE times about it. There was one other family in the building. We came back today to give it another go, again one other family to order that came in AFTER us and 1 other man ordered a pizza and a side. We ordered the slices of pizza so we didn't have to wait an hour for Pizza. I also ordered an Sicilian Salad with chicken, thinking it's a salad it won't take long... it's been 24 mins as I type this....guess what still no Salad. Both times we have came with a little one just under two. Last time we had to ask for our pizza Togo, this time he is done eating and I still haven't gotten to eat, again now taking my food Togo. Also the guy that order a pizza and a side TWO people after me, just got his items and left. Fantastic! Its just a Salad....with already made meats! Edit. Asked for an update on my salad after 27 mins, it finally had been brought out while I was talking to the girl. Asked them to box it up because now we had a little one that needed nap time. Been here an hour, still haven't seen our food that they said would be ready in 20 minutes. The high chairs are dirty and greasy. We have complained twice and no one has offered compensation, or bread or anything to hold over the six hungry kids in our party. read more

Love the pizza and wings. I go here all the time. Always fast and staff is very friendly! My only complaint is when I call in to order, Sarah isn't always the friendliest on the phone. I'm sure they get busy handling phones and customers, but you at least need to fake it. I'd recommend this place to anyone! read more

I absolutely love their pizza but they have no Gun sign on the front door which causes me to drop my review from a five star down to a four star. So over this place. Time and time again I tell myself to give this place another chance. Because I did like there pizza but after countless mess ups I'm done spending my money on a pizza place that charges more then several other pizza joints close by for a crappy pizza. And they do nothing to make it right. Pepperoni, Sausage and Black Olive rocks!!!! these folks can go head to head against any other pizza in town. Their regular crust is the bomb and this combination is my favorite. The wife loves the ham and pineapple but she eats one of her slices hen shares the rest of my fave. This place is great for celebrations with plenty of seating, has a an outdoor patio and has a good beer selection and wine list is typical small assortment. I normally love eating at these places but today having dinner with the family & having to wait an hour & a half for pizza & wings that we don't have yet is a bit much! This location is not great at all!! The young girls working here have MAJOR attitude & are not helpful at ALL! I would think they would like to be more helpful but anytime you ask something they give you attitude & roll there eyes at you. I'm not happy right now & neither is the rest of my family. Always love Barro's but this is my first time to this location. On top of the great food, excellent service, and sports bar atmosphere without the bar, they have a kids play section. It is a wonderful bonus as my two year old and watch cartons, play with other kids, and play with the play kitchen. In the past we have gone here because the food was good and our kids liked the play area. Lately though there's been a lot of issues. Tonight we went and the kids area was full of old people - I didn't see 1 kid in the kids area. Because of all the old people my kids didn't want to play. I assumed there was a birthday party but then this woman in black clothing started talking loud, it sounded like she was selling avon! Unreal! The kids area is for kids, not for an event for old people. I dont know what Barro's was thinking allowing this. They also messed up my order - I ordered a pizza with cheese bread, but only the pizza arrived. I had to ask several times over 10 minutes before they told me they lost my order or something then made the cheese bread. I wanted to watch the All Star game on tv, but I could only see 1 small tv with it on. There other tv's were on 1980's football and poker. It's like they've forgotten how to run a business. Here's a tip: customers like watching live sporting events not 1980's football. Customers also dont like listening to some kind of sales pitch while they eat. And it helps to not mess up a simple order of a pizza and cheese bread. We're going to have to look at other options in the future I have lost confidence in this place. read more

I really love Barros pizza and have become a weekly orderer. I usually order from various other locations and my last order was from this one. I love how cheesy the pizza is and it's a bit on the salty side which I like. While I was waiting for my delivery to arrive I saw recent poor reviews about customer service, product, and rude delivery drivers (different review site) so I was a bit nervous how my experience would be. We got our pizza timely and the delivery guy was great, very personable. Half of the pizza was wet soggy dough. We did get mushroom and black olives which are wet items so maybe the preparer didn't let the juices run off before putting them on the pizza? Not sure. We called to let them know we weren't able to eat it in this condition (first time I've had to call with a complaint). The manager was extremely curteous, apologized, and even though it was 20 minutes before their closing time they promptly sent us a replacement pizza. We received zero rudeness. I was very satisfied with my experience here, kudos! The only reason I've given 4 stars is because I've had 5 star pizzas, simple explanation. Way to go Barros, keep up the good work! read more

Oh how I'd love to give this a five because I love this place! We went in twice in a week and both times my boyfriend raved it was the best pizza he had ever had. He loved the wings also. I will always go back to Barros, but most recently when I was here my pizza came out not very hot. I ordered a gluten free one and I think they finished mine about 10 minutes before my boyfriend's. I normally only go to the location on Power and the US 60 but was out and decided to stop here for a quick lunch. Only one employee was in the front and on top of that the dining area was very filthy. You'd think with the little amount of business they had they'd clean the tables but instead employees seemed to be enjoying themselves in the booth near the front. I have always been a huge fan of barros. As of lately it seems like the food quality is dwindling. Went here last Friday and ordered food. Sat down and it took 10 minutes to get my beer. Once I got my beer it was frothy and tasted gross as it was the last one on tap. I swapped it for a coors light which was also watered down. The wings were dried out. The pizza was luke warm. In one word, this place is horrible. We ordered breadsticks with pizza sauce and a large cheeses pizza to go. True to what other posters said, the staff is rude. They acted las though I was interrupting their evening by ordering dinner. When we got he food home, the pizza looked pretty good. The breadsticks were dry and crunchy and the pizza sauce they served with them was ice cold. The pizza was gross. The cheese was super salty and was thick and chewy, even though it was still hot. My experience at Barro's pizza this evening was way below expectations. I called for take out pizza, Barro's took the order and said to be there in 20 minutes to pick it up. Great, or so i thought. I got to Barro's and I'll admit, it was busy. I paid for my pizza and sides order and she went to check to see if it was done. She never came back... I asked another person behind the counter and they didn't know. Another guy who had come in with me to get another pizza because they messed up his order, has his in 10 minutes of walking in the door. Finally, the first girl came back and I asked her again if my pizza was done. After asking again who I was and what my order was, she went to check. She came back and said it would be 20 minutes ( It had now been 35 minutes since I had called). She said the kitchen was backed up and was sorry it was taking so long). I waited another 20 minutes and went to ask if my pizza was ready. Again, she had to ask who I was and what I ordered. After going through it again, she went back to check. She came back and asked again what I had ordered bacause she couldn't find the order in the back. Turns out they had brought out the order 10 miuntes earlier and no one had the awareness to call my name to let me know it was done. I left very piqued at Barro's at that point with my order. I can't tell you if this is one off or not, all I can say is I was very disappointed in Barro'sand their customer service. No refund or compensation was offered for their mistakes and no manager was aware of what was going on. Very disturbing when you are running a word of mouth business. read more

I almost didn't order pizza from Barros because of the reviews I read on here. I have always liked the pizza I have gotten from other locations so I decided to give them a go. When I called to place my order the gentleman who took my information was very friendly and polite. He told me the specials and I went with the two one topping pizzas for $17.99. I decided to pick up because we live close to the restaurant. Our pizzas were ready in 20 minutes, just like I was told. The girl who helped me at the counter was pleasant and she took care of me quickly. I ordered a large pepperoni and a large mushroom pizza. The pizza was nice and hot. The crust was crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. There was lots of yummy melted cheese and entry of our chosen toppings. I have a household of two teen aged boys and a husband was a pretty good appetite and two pizzas was plenty for everyone. I think Barros makes a great pizza and is a great value too. This Barro's locations has the best food! Although I've never had such a horrible interaction with a manager named Ben (I believe). Every time I go in he's as rude to the staff as he is to the customers. We had a sweet counter girl helping us, she asked him a question (to help us mind you) and he treated her so nasty that I apologized for having her ask. Called in an order to have a pizza delivered. An hour and a half later, called back to see why no pizza yet. Got a ridiculous story from the store manager about how the delivery boy knocked on the door till his knuckles turned red and called and we wouldn't answer. Checked our calls, and the guy didn't leave a message. Not only is the customer not always right, he is to be treated disrespectfully by this location of Barro's Pizza. We say forget the order as we don't want a cold pizza that has been on a road trip for more than the last hour. Phone call ends. 2 minutes later, pizza boy shows up. Doesn't ring the bell, but instead gives the door a couple of little marshmallow love taps. No wonder we didn't hear him the first time! I tell him to get lost and learn to use a doorbell and voicemail. What kind of place hires primitives that don't know what a doorbell is for? What kind of delivery guy can't figure out how an answering machine or voicemail works?
