    Earl gray latte

Came in on a Friday late afternoon for my ginger orange scone and they were sold out! I tried the maple scone but still preferred the orange one. Had an earl grey latte and they put the drink in a glass where it got cold sooner as there wasn't anything to keep warm. I prefer my drinks hot, so maybe I should bring my own Yeti cup!

I've ordered twice from here due to the ease and the hours they are open. The food is okay - the natural flavors are there but there is a severe need for seasoning in the food. This is rectified by my own condiments but kind of disappointing. The coffee is decent! The cookie is really good!

This lunch called for the Kegonsa Bowl, California Sandwich + a bottle of Red wine

Ah, Barriques. I haven't been in quite some time only to discover their addition of market bowls! A giant bowl of healthy goodness was just what I was craving. This trip I went with the Kegonsa bowl. I like the different base options, and originally ordered with quinoa but it came out as fresh greens (maybe I was misheard)? Whoops. Regardless, the spiced chickpeas were fantastic. A bit of a bummer that I had to really work to get at them in the greens though - they settled to the bottom quickly. Would definitely recommend the lemon-basil vinaigrette, just the right blend of tart and herbaceous to liven up the greens (I always opt for dressing on the side. Restaurant portions can leave salads swimming sometimes, but all personal preference. Only needed half of what I was given for this). The greens themselves were nothing too noteworthy...

I've been to this location many times as it was just up the street from my old home. They've been a destination for a quick lunch, a place to chat with my gal pals over delicious Mexican hot chocolate, and a cozy getaway to hunker down and work. This location has a good amount of tables with accessible outlets, a lot of natural light up front from the large picture window, and comfy chair situated around a fire place in the back. Service is generally quick and friendly no matter the time of day. I've enjoyed their BBQ Ranch Chicken Wrap with pasta salad on a few occasions, and on my last trip I tried the Barriques Breakfast Sandwich. I had seen it on a friend's Twitter feed and it looked so amazing pillowy and delicious that I had to try it. I made some slight modifications to the sandwich in losing the egg and adding bacon and tomato. The ingredients inside the sandwich were delicious, but the breakfast roll itself was incredibly dry and over-browned. I was under the impression they were baked in-store, but I was sitting overlooking the kitchen and the rolls were in a plastic bag like the kind you get your grocery store bakery. It's totally possible that they were just using leftovers from the day before or get them from another store, but since the roll is what drew me in it was kind of a bummer to have it be dry instead of soft and tasting fresh out of the oven. Overall, though, the quality has been good so I'll give the breakfast sandwich another whirl when I'm craving a decadent breakfast.

Less than impressed with a mediocre $7.00 meal.

Another sweet stop I found while traveling for work in Middleton, Wisconsin…read more I popped into Grace Coffee Co and ordered a mocha latte -- and it was so good. Smooth, rich, and exactly what I needed to power through the day. They also had a great pastry selection (the chocolate croissants looked incredible), and the space itself was cozy with a modern feel. Definitely the kind of place you could settle into for a bit or grab something quick on the go. If you're in the Middleton area and need a solid coffee stop, this one's worth checking out.

One particular issue we had was asking about them grinding our own personal beans. Our previous visit, we asked the employee working if we could bring in beans from our shop back home, and if they could grind it for us. The employee told us we could. We went today, and the cashier, visibly just annoyed with us all around, said they don't do that and was very short worded. So not only is most of the staff here pretty rude, they also just lied to us for no reason. On top of that, the coffee just tastes very artificial. Super disappointed as I had high hopes for this shop. I just feel uncomfortable being in that shop. Won't be coming again. :/.

Then she made my drink and told me that it separated and she didn't know how but that she tried to stir it. The iced coffee doesn't taste exceptional but it will due. Seems that this coffee shop has some work to do as it is new. The decor is amazing and very quaint with cushions and pillows, comfy chairs both soft and wood, greenery hanging from the ceiling giving it a cafe vibe. The pastries look really good but I have hesitation on trying any. I will come back once they are more established and update my review. This is a first impression review. I want to come back and I want it to be a hit because it is a nice spot and really lovely inside. There is a huge window wall door style that will be open during nicer weather with a patio that seems really cool to sit and chat or work. I would love to see this place do well!!

I knocked a star off because they use so much plastic in packing...I understand the beans need some kind a plastic bag, but they also lade the package with a bunch of bubble wrap. They sell green coffee and sent some samples as part of the roaster sale. Roaster price was competitive. Their website is easy to use. Since I was new to coffee roasting, I figured I'd buy green coffee from Burman, until I found more sellers; but, I haven't changed sellers. I'm sure there are other good ones out there. But Burman has been very responsive, has a great online POS system, good info about the beans they sell, and the one time I had a questions, I received a prompt response. As I learn more about green beans, I'm pretty certain Burman is providing the best quality -- and, they have an awesome variety. After a while, you want to pick a few goto's, but its hard with Burman -- Its like a candy store. I've been happy with their BCT Espresso green blend as a good all around coffee.
